    Sarah nods. "Yes I am ok. Nothing is wrong." She went back to eating her pizza." She knew her mom's concern was fake and had a feeling. She put something in the cup to make her wet her diaper, but she couldn't prove it. So Sarah decided to be cautious about anything her mom touches when it comes to food or drink.

    Spencer smiles and stops tickling Val. He goes back to checking his emails on his phone.

    Spencer smiles. "I'm not tickling you. You must have swallowed a feather when you started to hiccup and it is tickling you."

    Sarah shrugs. "It might sound silly, but it is the only conclusion that makes sense to me." She picked up her cup and noticed an odd film on the rim of the glasses that didn't look like pizza grease. Sarah looked at her mom and then sat the glass back down.

    Spencer smiles. "What did you say? I can't understand you through the giggles. Speak up sweetie."

    "Seems very suspicious. No daytime accident until I went to work with you. So the simplest answer is usually the right one." Sarah went back to eating her piece of pizza

    Spencer chuckles a little bit. "Seems like someone swallowed the hiccup monster and now has the hiccups. Am I going to have to tickle the monster out?"

    Sarah thought about it for a moment. "That seems to be funny. I never had any daytime accidents until I went to work with you. So it makes me think that it had something to do with it. I can't prove it, but seems to be very suspicious." She nods. "Ok mom."

    Spencer nods. "Yes I am happy and Val does seem very content here. I'll give it some thought about the family reunion."

    Spencer nods. "Yeah, I see a lot of Carrie in Val. I think the two of them shared the same spirit."

    Spencer leaned back. "It fixed an ache I didn't know if it would ever been filled. I thought it was a hole that would never be fixed or filled." He sighs. "I didn't set out to adopt another child, but Val kind of fell into my lap. She was homeless. I had went on a trip and stopped at a diner I had never stopped at before. It the time. I wasn't sure why I stopped there. I had never stopped there before. I either stop after passing the town or stop before I got there. Looking back now. I think it was Carrie bringing us together. Val needing a home and me needing to move forward in life." Spencer shrugs. "Maybe she will, but even if she doesn't. It is her loss. Not mine."

    Spencer looked up from his phone. "Sure thing sweetie." He picks up the bottle of juice and handed it to Val. "Here you go."

    Sarah stopped eating her pizza and laid down the piece of pizza. "If you mean that. Then you will stop making me wear diapers all the time. Wearing them at night is one thing. Because of my need, but I have no need for them during the day." She looks at her mom waiting on what she would say next.
