Waking up to pee, diapers anyone?
PuraVidaDip replied to Luvschild's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
I have been waking up more recently and struggling to actually pee. It has gotten frustrating. I wish I could just pee in my sleep and not get disrupted! -
24/7 startups, and unexpected pitfalls?
PuraVidaDip replied to Little Sherri's topic in Diaper Lovers
My body type is I guess odd in that I need to wear pants over my diapers. Certainly while sleeping. While not full-proof, they help ALOT. I use the Northshore Trifecta pants Large, to go up over the front and back of the diaper. That, and a super absorbent diaper are helpful to solve this. -

Does Anyone Here Play Any Musical Instruments?
PuraVidaDip replied to Kaleros's topic in The Rest of your Life!
I started playing the Banjo last year and got into the Guitar after. Ended up going to CapCon and met another friend who was ripping the electric guitar and we set out a clean diaper taped up as a tip bucket! It was great fun.- 25 replies

Just an update here. Not much has changed. I've used the toilet some like if I am at a friends house or a concert and drinking a lot. Just going when others do and it makes my diaper last alot longer. Not always making it to the toilet. But it's kind of nice. I have the benefits of the diapers without all the costs. My therapy has been pushed back to November! now... So I am just proceeding with diapers. Still wearing 247 haha

Wear dark pants! I wear all navy blue pants/shorts (Lands End Elastic) and to work I wear dark suit pants. ALSO highly recommend a PUL pant like Northshore or GARY. They are a must-have. Was thinking about this the other day. The reason is this is a forum to help others process their own desires and situations. People come here for lot's of reasons, but I can't sit by and say - Yes do it! This is someone's life with real life ramifications. Not just some forum. I would liken this to anything but I think of plastic surgery. People get a little, then a little more, then all of a sudden it is like what the heck have you done to yourself? They always want more. Just saying hey, enjoy where you are. All is well. Give it some time. If you really want it after a few years, sure. Go for it. But just think about it first.
-
As someone with some bowel incontinence, I would second think the bowel surgery. Would it flow out all the time? You would always smell like poo. Plus, I have to change immediately or I get a rash. Urine flowing all the time is one thing... but poop? No thanks. You couldn't go anywhere for any amount of time. What a nightmare. Just relax and never clinch and let the poo happen you will lose at least some control over time.

Good for you for finding a girlfriend that is 100% DL. Theoretically it sounds amazing! A couple of things to consider - a nasty bout of diarrhea or colonoscopy prep a toilet is nice to have. Assuming you own the home, you will have to pay someone to put it back in when you want to move. If you have friends over or your parents who need to use the bathroom - very helpful especially if they have bladder or bowel issues. A vendor may have the same and need to use it. You don't have to offer your facilities but as someone with bladder and bowel issues (though I wear now) it would be very appreciative to have this.

They just get all bunchy and weird if you are active. My experience is once wet they don't do much then you eventually need to take them off, especially if in and out of the water. I'll try them out again though! Thanks for your reply here! Totally agree with your thoughts! I have still been wearing diapers since posting. Agree it is a part of me. Just giving myself grace to not wear 100% of the time I think, and use the toilet more.

Well I thought I would throw this out there, because it contradicts some of the things I have posted in the past, or at least contradicts where my mind was heading before. I have wanted to wear diapers since I was a small child. I have fantasized and longed to be in diapers for the rest of my life. Well, for the past 2+ years I have done just that! I have spent "the rest of my life" in diapers. I have worn diapers to work, on multiple business trips, camping trips, speaking in front of people, all sorts of things! I have been wearing diapers 24/7 since January of 2022. This happened after some incontinence which I have leaned into. I am sitting at my desk at work in a semi wet diaper. I am not sure the extent oh how much I will decrease my wearing, but will taper off from 24/7 or rather, already have to some degree. Well, over the course of the last several months, and traveling with friends, being all awkward with my bathroom visits, and trying to hang by the pool, etc, I have come to the conclusion that wearing diapers 24/7 isnt really compatible with the sort of life I want to lead. I still WANT to be in diapers but I also WANT to do some things that would require me to have better control of my bladder and especially my bowels. I love the water. I love being on the water, boating, the beach etc. Diapers and the water dont get so well together. I have found myself in a couple of occasions in a saturated diaper in the water, twice where I tried to take it off and it just exploded, polluting the environment with microplastics. These happened due to me having to get into the water and not being able to take the diaper off before hand. Both were emergency situations and unavoidable until the split second before. Also, I have two boys and I would love to be able to go on a long-distance backpacking trip or a long-distance rafting/ canoeing trip at some point. These long distance back-country activities aren't really compatable with wearing diapers. So here I am guilty or being an advocate of loving diapers and wearing them at all times and also realizing that for me to live the sort of dynamic multi-spectrum fulfilling life I want I need to be able to spend some of my time not wearing diapers. I am not sure where that line will be, but it will be somewhere. I will have to wear for car trips, movies, concerts too, but I may try to use the bathroom before and after. I am not quite sure how all of this will work, but I am working on it. I started my first Pelvic Therapy yesterday and it was encouraging to be able to get some of my control back. I realized at a concert that with the amount of fluids I was taking in I couldnt last the whole show and as my friends went to the bathroom, so could I (we had seats) and it made sense to try and empty my bladder, so I did. I had to use a bathroom stall because of the onesie. I present as a man mostly and using the urinals when you have a diaper on is awkward, and with a onesie to unsnap, super awkward. But I realized that by toileting with others I could sometimes get some urine out and have it not all end up in my diapers. I am still torn here but I wanted to post this here none-the-less. I have just been getting more and more distressed lately by wearing diapers that I feel I need to reduce my 24/7 numbers down. It may be to wearing pull-ups more (they suck, I went my floor last night in one experimenting), but I am sure I will figure out some way to honor my desire and need for diapers, and my desire and need for not wearing, or wearing light protection when wearing diapers just isn't practical. TLDR IDK but I would be happy to hear anyones response/ encouragement / criticisms with this post and advice on how to move forward. I feel like I am really giving up on something I have longed so hard to achieve so I am torn.

CapCon was sissy friendly for sure! Definitely in the hotel. I guess other Sissy Friendly events would be any sort of CosPlay event. Harajuku in Tokyo is a space where you could dress sissy, though I only saw what looked like sis females doing this. Granted that was 15 years ago. It would be cool to have a sissy friendly event which is why I was asking.

Yeah I know I just say it’s a medical bag, but it’s awkward for me, especially with a group of people.
-
Hi everyone thought I would share this fanny pack. I started attending concerts and have tried this fanny pack as an alternative to a medical backpack so I can keep things more discreet and easier to manage. I've also used Scott E Vest jackets but need a summer solution. I can fit one folded in-half Rearz or Trest medium diaper plus some wipes in a baggy and some other items as well. It's a SoJourner bag. Click the link or just search in Amazon. Hope I helps someone else. I've tried like 30 different bags and this one works for me. The folded diaper is key! https://a.co/d/0ZDr7Gy

My wife opens the closed to to our bedroom and then leaves, leaving it open all the time as I’m changing my diaper or getting ready and it’s so annoying! -

24/7 startups, and unexpected pitfalls?

I was chugging water a few hours before the Trest cap maxxed out and then proceeded to drink a few beers. My normal use case for a Trest is 6-8 hours with moderate fluid intake -

Are diapers a sexual turnon for anybody?
PuraVidaDip replied to I love pampers's topic in Sissy Room
I consider myself a "diaper-sexual" who is also attracted to the female form. So yes diapers are a huge turn on for me. -
Thanks for all the responses. SO I will ask this. Are there any sissies who would consider being into other sissies, so long as they are strictly feminine and keep their diapers on? I find myself sometimes attracted to sissies because of how ultra feminine they are. So long as they look like women. Sort of like I could be attracted to a trans female who looked like a female. Not sure if that makes sense. 🙃

24/7 startups, and unexpected pitfalls?
PuraVidaDip replied to Little Sherri's topic in Diaper Lovers
So for diaper bags, I have been experimenting. The biggest issue for me is 247 and going to concerts right now. I've taken the giant clear bags, or my Scott E Vest with a diaper pocket, but both are somewhat awkward. Hiking is another matter but I'll cross that bridge in the future. I bought this for CapCon and am planning on buying a not-pink one for concerts. BTW 100% needed for CapCon. I wore a dress or just a t shirt and a diaper and I kept my phone, wallet, room key, some snacks in it and it was perfect!!! Well... come to find out, I can fold a medium Trest and it will fit in the big pocket! It is a tight fit, at an angle, but it fits! This solution is WAY easier for me. Not going to work for multiple changes, but if I have a #2 accident I have a spare and if I end up maxxing it out (I maxxed out a Trest in 4 hours two weeks ago, I have a spare and dont have to be all awkward because I am waddling and about to leak! Also, I can keep it on my waist and if I have to go to the bathroom, it just stays on my waist! A fanny pack is acceptable as I keep my phone and a snack and some meds in there. I think this will be my go to moving forward. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07567V1HS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 -
I drink an appropriate amount of fluids. I also mess 2-3 times per day. But what I am saying is that, I noticed this at CapCon because I REALLY tried to go #2 in the toilet when I could make it (about 1/2 the time I did) that I ended up urinating in the toilet while going #2 which is common for humans to do. I bet that decreases the number of needed diapers by 1-2 per day. I just have read so many comments like more than 3 diapers a day - insane! Not needed! When well, that's what I need. To each their own, but to help set proper expectations, 3-6 diapers a day is a normal use case, regardless of the absorbancy. Sure, have I ever in my life only used 2 diapers in a day wearing 247 - YES. But I was sedentary, dehydrated and didn't poop or pooped in the toilet. It's just not realistic for someone relatively active, who stays reasonably hydrated, who never uses a toilet, to only use 2-3 diapers a day.
