  1. Never had a chance to be in your situation, but how about diaper cuddles? Just be responsible if you let it go further, hehe.
  2. Glad to see Maryland still representing
  3. I'd stay away from the doctor only because it seems all the medications out there have more side-effects than it's worth. Diaper treatment works for me, hehe.
  4. Same experience here. Using the booster not only adds a lil extra bulk, it also seems to keep the diaper material together better. Only reason to go up a size would be if you barely fit in the diaper without a booster.
  5. *offers the padded bunny a carrot* glad to have you with us ^~^/
  6. Definitely try the Dry 24/7 if you haven't already. They are very large though, but will totally give you that pillow between the legs feeling. As for white diapers, I love the Bianco diapers Bambino makes. They are all white and with a booster they are nice and thick. That's what I cozied up into bed tonight.
  7. I rarely fly, but now I'd feel even more worried wearing diapers on a plane haha. Oh well...
  8. Same here. I switched to the all white Bambinos but I add one of Abena's large insert pads to make the diaper thicker. The pad actually helps prevent the stuffing from falling apart so fast.
  9. The fact that the text is pink doesn't help either
  10. Let's just hope this criminal can afford to pay for diapers without needing to steal. Our's is not an inexpensive lifestyle.
  11. Ah that sucks. That would be priceless to see the look on the guy's face though.
  12. I recently bought a bag since the boosters and diapers I like are backordered for a while >_< They are a bit bigger than other diapers of similar size, but it hasn't really been a problem. They feel pretty similar to Abri-Form X-Plus but are plain colored hehe. Also, the bulk of the diaper doesn't get ripped out and onto your body if it bunches up. I was actually rather impressed by that. They're very crinkly and very soft on the outside. Will probably buy more if my normal brand doesn't come back in stock soon enough haha.
  13. I use them for the thickness reason mostly, but they have an added benefit of reducing the rate of diaper material bulking up. I don't always "use" my diaper but without the booster pad, the material would clump up over a relatively short period of time. With the booster, I can easily reuse the same diaper for bed 3 nights before the tapes give out.
  14. I was bullied in school ya. Looking back though, I laugh. Easy target, tall, glasses, and smart. I lashed out in elementary school, but later I calmed down and focused on my studies. Eventually, I just didn't react to their taunts. I think they either tired of it, or were scared one day I'd snap - towering over them with jet black hair, ya, I could appear scary if I wanted to heehee. I dunno if that has anything to do with being a DL today. I didn't really even learn about this stuff until college.
  15. I wear an Abena X-Plus with a large liner to bed almost every night now. I've never woken up wet, occasionally if I'm just too cozy by morning, rather than revealing myself on the toilet, I'll just wet the diaper instead (but I try not to - as I reuse the diaper if it's still in good condition, and dry). During winter it's so much nicer. A nice coating of baby powder and I'm happy and padded for the night. When summer rolls around, I'm going to try wearing each night still. I experimented last year with adding a strip of ice gel packs between the diaper and the liner. They keep in the inside of the diaper nice and cool and seemed to reduce the sweating in that area during warmer weather.
  16. I have been wearing a bit more often, mostly each night during the week and almost all day on weekends. I wear Abena X-Plus so that's kinda expensive. Since I mostly enjoy just wearing the diaper, I rarely wet or mess it and during the winter time, I don't sweat as much so in the morning, my diaper is still pretty dry. So I reuse them as long as I can. I add a liner to each diaper too, I feel it not only adds to the bulkiness (something I really enjoy), but it seems to prevent bunching of the actual diaper material. As for how I afford it... I do budget my diaper spending. I have a budget for everything. I'm probably pretty fortunate to not be in a pinch despite the hard times. All I can tell you is prioritize and make yourself a budget, then stick to it. Being careful with your money, especially now, is a very very important life skill. All the money I save gets invested in CDs and money markets so it grows. That's another thing. If you have money sitting around (you might not... but, if you do have left over), invest it in stuff that pays you back. For your particular situation, beer + diapers might be overdoing it. Both are expensive habits, but if you want them, you either need to work a job that pays better, or save the money you do make and be smart where you spend it. For example, how often you do go out to eat for lunch? Every day? Just a few times a week? That adds up, I mean, the cafeteria at my office is terrible, a co-worker told me he paid over 10 bucks for a salad!!! A SALAD!!! Run to your local Target or Wal-Mart and buy a couple frozen entrees. They are always on sale for like $2 each. Or buy rolls and lunch meat and make your own sandwich at home. If you do just this, you'll suddenly be saving about $20-25 a week right there. That's a bag of diapers a week!!! (In terms of Abena diapers, that's 14 snuggly X-Plus's!!!) Same thing goes for dinner time. Don't go out to restaurants or for fast-food each evening. It's not healthy in the long run, and it's expensive. Instead, again, I like the frozen entrees since it's rough cooking for one, but I also learned how to prepare a few different meals. If you cook yourself, you'll save easily 50% what you'd pay in a restaurant. Wow, this actually turned into a long post, but, I hope this helps you and maybe gives you some ideas to think about. Try it, get into the habit of making your own meals, and also try tracking where you spend your money (I use Quicken - and BTW, they now offer a FREE online version). Develop a new habit to save your hard earned paycheck, as much as possible. Put that money in the bank, in an account that earns YOU money! Good luck and stay dry ^__^ (or not heehee)
  17. Dude, that'd be awesome! But uh, I dunno. I know I've seen travel packs of diapers in Walmart (Depends brand), so, probably is a viable business move.
  18. Just to offer possible advice, try meeting a girl first. Any girl, well, one you share some interests with (aside from diapers). Get to know each other a while. I think it's probably a lot easier to get someone to try out diapers than it is to find them (especially women, for the reasons already posted). Bottom line is, if all you're looking for a in companion is diapers, I think you'll be constantly looking. Build on a solid base, let diapers be a part of the relation, not the only thing in it =3
  19. What happened to medium sized BIANCO diapers? Now you can only order large and extra large?
  20. Love the crinkle. The Abena diapers still work quite well, though, I'd have to say the older Depends were prolly the noisiest diapers I've ever tried. Heh, I used to wear one over other diapers just for the crinkliness.
  21. I've been occasionally wearing the Abena Air-Plus diapers to beat the heat and sweat. But, I miss that crinkly feeling too much, so, in order to still enjoy wearing the plastic backed diapers, I decided to try something that may help others too. Cooling == Ok, so, I've actually placed diapers in my freezer before wearing them and it's an awesome feeling - especially with the hot weather. The problem is, your body heat quickly neutralizes the coolness and soon enough you're hot and sweaty in your diaper again. So, how could you keep the diaper cool, longer? The answer, ice blankets. Everyone must have seen "Blue Ice" before right? Rubbermaid makes sheets of this product - they are like gel packets. I bought a package of them, cut the sheet into three strips, and place the strip inside the diaper. Next, and this is important, I always use a large diaper booster (Abri-Let Max), and place that over the ice strip. You need to do this otherwise you're gonna get an ice "burn". The booster acts as enough insulation to prevent the ice from being too cold, while keeping the inside of the diaper nice and cool. I've been doing this for about a week, and so far, it's really helped. I can wear plastic backed diapers in the heat and still be fine. You can even sit in the diaper without breaking the ice packets (at least none have broken for me yet). They are non-toxic, and a sheet costs about 3 bucks - so it's a cheap solution too. Anyways, I thought I'd share this lil tidbit of knowledge, and I'm curious if anyone else has ever tried this before. Hope it works for some of you too Stay cool ^.-
  22. Same reasons mentioned before. A big thing I like them for is it greatly reduces the "bunching up" of diaper material caused by sweat. I wear the Abena X-Plus and once in a while have worn without the booster. Within an hour, the diaper was bunching up and very uncomfortable. Adding the booster not only makes any diaper thicker, but I pretty much never suffer from bunched up material. Oh ya, they are also a great way to transform a cheap Depends into a thick diapie, which I may need to do as the days get warmer again
  23. Mine didn't explode, but they sure felt like they were gonna. I'd say, once it feels like a balloon, you should stop filling it. Personally though, the Abri-Form X-Plus are super thick and can hold a ton. I'd feel really worried trying this with a Depends hehe.
  24. Oh wow!!! Everyone needs to try this at least once! It was so awesome. I was wearing a medium Abena X-Plus with thick pad, just wet myself and thought, let's give it a try. Got in the shower, turned the water on and carefully stepped under the shower head. Did it a lil at a time, a bit cautious after hearing how others had fared. Anyways, my diapie swelled up so much, it felt absolutely awesome!! I just wish there coulda been some way to then jump in bed and sleep for a lil while like that. Anyways, if you haven't tried this before, DO IT!!! Hehehe, it's very very fun.
  25. I'm kinda a furry. I love tails and wish I had a real one Just think how useful that would be! Umm, prolly fox or kitten
