  1. The Pluck Yew is the one I have been told is true. It was also included in one of the excellent lectures by Robert Wuhl "Assume the Position"
  2. I like that you think the gas will make you so happy you'll suddenly shout "I wear diapers!" before going to sleep

  4. Been doing that. Proud of all the countries who are now standing up and demanding a say in their own lives.
  5. I already wear 24/7 for incontinence, but if it were acceptable behavior I'd use my sippy cup more often

Notice my description said nothing about the potty ...technically that is because I love the toilet we have. A Crane Bigfoot. Little taller and wider than standard ones. Very comfortable to use... I hate little toilets now!
  7. The French gets a lot of crap from Americans, but I must say, they are right on top of this Libya issue, first planes in and willing to throw the first missiles. Not looking or trying to start a big political debate here; just think its good to know that governments can come together when they think the cause is right.

Except for some trim work the bathroom is done. They tore out our tub and replaced it with a walk-in shower with bench. Replaced the sick and vanity. I just finished laying down new tile on the floor. As for the site suggestions: Real problem is that I am about at the limit of my skills. I'm not a programmer, so I've had to rely on the help of others for the reviews script. Technically disposable and reusable products are separate but people have been submitting wrong. ABOwned needs a dedicated webmaster. Someone who can clean it up and make working submission forms. Would love to fins someone with the skills to take it over.

    Busy Busy!

Sorry for the lack of updates on the main site, been a very busy week with the home renovations. Bathroom crew is here again today, so not getting anything done like I had hoped. Tomorrow should be quiet, but have errands that need running so no clue how far I will get. Should only be another couple weeks before things get back to normal here.
  11. Oh no! Got a great contractor working for us. There are hidden steel supports under the wood, and the deck is built to code so we can turn it into a sun room at some point.
  12. Yes to new Drywall, but its US made. We checked!
  13. back deck is done and looks great! Windows are in and all siding has been repaired. Den floor reconstruction is complete. New drainage systems are in and working. Front porch is about 1/3 done. Nother week or two and we should be finishing up!
  14. Thanks Right now its really not the "need to vent" kind of stress. Just too much work being done at all once, interrupting my schedule and disturbing my peace! Just got one of the adrenaline rushes standing on the new back deck. Nothing going on, no extra stress. Just weird.
  15. Oh no, I didn't give up sugar, I loves sugar Crashed yesterday had to sleep from 2pm until 9 this morning without only 2-3 brief wakeful moments to drink/eat. Feeling better today. Seeing my good Doc Wednesday, will take all these ideas with me to discuss which it could be. One note: A couple people seem to have gotten the idea I am a pill-popper. Not the case. In the last week I have taken 3 Xanax when it was really needed. My shrink was giving me 100 a month, I made him cut it back because I got tired of flushing nearly full bottles when the scrips expired (only 6months on Schedule IV drugs in US)
  16. In the news today: Already, the American Red Cross has given an initial ten million dollars to the Japanese Red Cross society to help with medical care and relief efforts. Red Cross officials also said many of the organization's chapters in Japan are equipped to deal with a nuclear crisis.
  17. These people clearly needed the help, but in "Can I get a buck or two" situations I always go by my belief that I would rather assume they will misuse the money - but give it to them anyway - than risk not giving it to someone who really was in need of a meal/gas/help. While I am not an overly religious person or regular church-goer, the song "What If Jesus Comes Back Like That" by Collin Rays sums up how I try to look at people.
  18. LOL!Sassy little girl thinks boys are gross.
  19. Saw this DVD cover on Netflix that grabbed my attention. Movie sounds interesting too, added it to my queue After moving from the city to a small town, gay couple Sven (Torkel Petersson) and Goran (Gustaf Skarsgård) adopt a child. But when Patrik (Thomas Ljungman) arrives in their lives, it turns out he's not 1.5 years old as they were told by the adoption agency -- he's a rebellious, homophobic 15-year-old. While the couple houses the angry boy until the mix-up is resolved, his presence causes them to reassess their lives.
  20. Post void drip, very annoying. After you pee, stand up and wait about 20 seconds, then sit down and try and go again. Then run your finger up the underside of your penis to clear the urethra. All male pads are designed for use in briefs. The Kylie briefs look good, but here are some other options: (for you, and folks with similar problems) Dignity offers a boxer short that has a floating panel to hold a male pad. Amazon shows them: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002ZUCESY/ecnadmedia-20 Otherwise I would suggest a washable training pant. If you drip only a little you could order 2 or 4 ply underwear from Tiger, for more protection Kleinert's makes a great brief with built in pad, or my favorite thicker trainers from NiceDiaper Tiger: http://www.tigerunderwearstore.com/TigerStoreChoice.html Kleinerts: http://www.hygienics.com/safedry-men.htm NiceDiaper: http://nicediaper.com/index.php?gOo=goods_search_list.dwt&gcat=3 (stick to the solid colors, the prints currently are cut different and don't fit as well.)
  21. I'm going to need a LOT more Xanax if I can't have my sippy cup 'o snapple at night!
