I'd say that if you were planning on needing the diapers during flight, take one or two in your carry on for the purpose of changing in-flight or once you have landed.

Thank you for the replies, I am going to take a few dry 24/7 s I will probably take the embarassing route and take them on a carryon the fear of the airline loosing my bags are more than enough to sort of convince me.

Despite some anecdotes posted here, I've not seen any credible stories about someone being asked to remove a diaper.

Several of us travel exclusively in diapers.

I am a partner in a powerful corporate law firm with offices in many cities. I travel on airlines more than twice a week. I have no bladder control so I always wear some form of diaper. In my checked luggage I carry additional disposables and a couple of waterproof sheets. If I expect to be at the same hotel more than 2 nights I have a case of disposables drop-shipped there. I then have the remained of that case of diapers shipped to my home.

Many times I have posted that for our annual long trip to Australia and New Zealand, I buy disposable products there. I have a network of local vendors who deliver bags or cases of disposables to each place where I will be staying in different cities. I start each leg of every airplane trip with space disposables in my carry-on. From Australia and New Zealand I fly home wearing and carrying disposables I purchased there. I usually stop in Hawaii on the way home, where we own a condo. I keep partial cases of the USA brand disposables I normally wear in storage at our condo.

My husband Don has been staying at some places in Australia since the early 1960s. For the past few Novembers and Decembers we have only stayed in places we have previously visited. It has been absolutely no problem having enough disposable products drop-shipped for me for every trip.

Daddy and I are flying this weekend and we put disposable diapers in our carry on as well as in the checked bag.

Speaking of plastic sheets, Will a hotel provide them?

In fact even if I wasn't a bedwetter, I'd like them just because they seem more sanitary.

At home I have a plastic zippered matress protector. Along with a mattress pad that's washable.

That way if I ever leak, it's easy to wash everything and no urine soked matress.

Just makes common sense, doesn't it?
