  1. I can't comment about those particular diapers you mentioned but I can speak on wearing diapers in public. I frequently wear diapers when I'm out running errands, going shopping, going to the movies, and so on. I wear a variety of PLASTIC BACKED diapers when I'm out and about and no one has ever noticed anything. I always wear a pair of regular underwear over my diapers when I'm out in public so that seems to quiet things down quite a bit....but honestly...no one will notice a thing.
  2. I'm in an extremely wet Bedry Premium. I'm really shocked that I haven't leaked...that's how wet it is. I've been in it for 11 hours now....
  3. I'm wearing a really wet Incontrol Bedry premium. These are very quickly turning into one of my 'go-to' diapers. I like them a lot.....
  4. Wow. That would be an impressive poop...

    Crinkles

I LOVE the crinkles. Sometimes I'm disappointed that I CAN'T hear my diapers. I definitely enjoy listening to the crinkling when I'm walking around...
  6. I'm in one of my mainstay diapers. Abena L4 which is really wet at this moment. I'm going to need to take it off soon....
  7. I'm in one of Incontrol's new diapers. It's their Bedry Premium. I got brave and wore this to a Dr's appointment today. They were none the wiser.... It's pretty wet right now so I'll probably change soon....
  8. I have a day off from work so I'm celebrating by wearing a Rearz Daydreamer diaper. I just love these. It's dry for now...but not for long....
  9. Attends was the first true 'adult' diaper I used in the 80's so I will always have a soft spot for those. It's a shame what happened to them.
  10. Diapers certainly aren't the most important things in my life but they are definitely up there. I do feel more comfortable and way less anxious when I'm wearing them and I can certainly appreciate the convenience of them when I'm out shopping or running other errands. That said....I don't think I could TRULY give them up. If they all disappeared tomorrow then I would most definitely feel the profound loss. At the end of the day I'm much happier in a diaper.
  11. A blue Megamax. I can't wear too many of these as they are prohibitively expensive here in Canada. Fortunately I stocked up on a bunch before the price skyrocketed.
  12. I'm firmly in the DL camp as well. That said....I love printed diapers. Hey....they're still diapers no matter what the shell has printed on it. I will always have a soft spot for an all white diaper though....
  13. There is just something about going to an actual store that sells ABDL diapers. I've only ever been to one in Edmonton, Alberta but I do try to get there whenever I'm in town.
  14. I'm in a slightly wet BeDry diaper. The fit on these things is just awesome. They're definitely not as crinkly as the old InControl Original diapers but they sure are comfy. Time will tell just how absorbent they are 😉
  15. Like I mentioned...this is a first for me with the Abena's. I'm happy to report that I'm in ANOTHER L4 right now and no tape breakage.
  16. I had something strange happen to my Abena L4 this morning. I had the lower left tape break. It snapped right at the fold. Right now the top tape is doing all the heavy lifting as my diaper is pretty wet right now. Hope this doesn't become a thing as it's the 2nd diaper from a new bag....
  17. I got a hold of a case of Daydreamers here right recently and I really, really like them. The transparent plastic adds something that I didn't know I was missing. It's kinda neat seeing the results of your efforts....if you catch my drift.
  18. I use pull ups from time to time and I'd sure like to see a plastic backed one. That would be pretty cool IMO....
  19. It really sucks when a brand you depend on goes downhill. I can still remember when Attends were decent diapers and could hold more than a couple of ounces. We do have very high quality diapers but I just noticed a case of MegaMax diapers here in Canada is pushing 200 dollars. I love Rearz but I can only really justify buying them when they go on sale. I can understand why incontinent folks on fixed incomes become homebodies. If all you can afford are the cheaper brands then it's not worth the risk of a major leak when you're out running errands.
  20. Abena L4 right now. They have their haters but they really work well for me.
  21. Rockin a Critter Caboose which is quickly reaching it's max capacity. Love these diapers.
  22. It has been my experience that the Original seems to have more capacity than the Essentials. I have both in my collection and that's the impression I have. I can only manage about 3 heavy wettings in an Essential whereas I can manage 5 or so heavy wettings before I have to worry about leaks in the Original. I'm not a fan of Hook and Loop fasteners so the Night version of the Bedry's is out. I guess I'm going to have to try the regular version to see how it performs and hopefully its a worthy successor of the Originals.
  23. It seems as though InControl has discontinued some of their diapers. The black Premium Nights, Essentials, and Originals are all being discontinued in favour of the new BeDry brand. That's too bad as I use both the Essentials and the Originals quite a bit. I guess I need to try the BeDry equivalents to see how they stack up....or soak up compared to the Essentials and Originals.
  24. I gave up baby diapers long ago. I realise that there are folks looking for upscaled Pampers or Huggies but I love most of the adult offerings that we have today. I think cloth backed diapers are just terrible and wouldn't be caught dead in one. That said...my favorite diaper will always be a plain white plastic backed diaper. If you are looking for nostalgia then you really can't beat that. Plain white, nice and thick and crinkly. Absolute heaven.
  25. Oooo. I'm in for a real treat. I'm in a Rearz Daydreamer diaper right now. Just put it on. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces.
