Well I got the flu!

On Wednesday I started feeling sick.  I thought it was just a cold and all but had aches and pains all day then that night it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I went to the ER on Thursday, got tested for the flu A virus, which blows really bad.  My headache is finally subsiding.  But while lying in bed.

Each time I turned over I coughed.  Then as I coughed the hersey squirts started coming out.  Good thing I have some protection. They are not the best.  And I got my plastic pants as well to help protect the bed.

But heck they protected my bedsheets.  

this is so messed up as now I am out of work for a few days and no income coming in so I got to rest of and find ways to make money fast.

That sucks!   But at least it's not COVID.    Get that rest and get well soon.

I know what It's like to be sick!  It does suck - I hope you feel better soon - Try to take it easy buddy

It has taken a lot out of me.

Now I just asked for coverage at my work for the next 2 days as I still can not work as I do not have a voice along with this stupid flu.

I had the flu once over 30 years ago, it combined with a double ear infection. Every joint in my body hurt along with my balls. Fever over 100 F. I missed two days of work, go in on a Friday and everyone said what are you doing here, you look like s**t, go home. I did not feel better for over 2 weeks after. I know this is controversial any more, I get the flu shot annually ever since and fortunately have never experienced again. So when my friends make fun of me for getting a vaccine I just smile and say thanks for your input.

@DailyDi I’m feeling better but I don’t have a voice at this time which sucks.
