Sephy Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 is there a good method to dealing with hair down south? What's the best way to keep hair growth down? 1
ken2988 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I had it all laser removed a long time ago. Almost nothing grows anymore. 2

LGGrace Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 The best method is either professional laser hair removal or electrolysis. It is expensive but is almost permanent with only needing a touch up treatments every now and again. I'm getting a few laser hair treatments this week and in total, it takes 8 to 10 treatments every 4 to 8 weeks. Being a good candidate for laser means you need fair skin and dark hair. If you have light hair then electrolysis is a better option but it involves going hair by hair and very time consuming. Waxing is the second best option and can keep you hair free for up to 8 weeks. It's painful and if you plan on doing it yourself at home, be prepared to have a good mental threshold for self inflicted pain. Nair works great and extend what shaving could do by about 3 to 4 days. Be careful and follow the directions carefully, you can get chemical burns that are not fun. I have had mixed results with at home laser hair removal and it seems to only thin and slow down hair growth in my case. One thing that I have started using on my legs and downstairs area every time I shave is Cyperus rotundus oil. It is a natural plant oil that is suppose to reduce and slow hair growth. I just started using it recently and couldn't tell you how effective it is yet. Other than just shaving or buying a good trimer that is designed for that area, those are all the methods I know of. 2
Babygeebee Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 On the subject of of Nair I ran into a product specifically for men. https://nadsformen.com/hair-removal-products/nads-for-men-down-under-hair-removal-cream Anyone had any experience with it? 1
ppdude Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 COOL!!! This stuff is available OTC at all the major retailers. I'm planning on getting some on the next grocery trip to Mejier Thrifty Acres here in Michigan in about a week or two. 1
Christian UK DL Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Wax. If it's done well it won't hurt nearly as much as you might imagine 1

One thing to remember if you get laser surgery for your private area, it can be very painful if you do not have a fairly high pain tolerance. If you have a lot of hair and your plans are for a full male brazilian (look up if not sure what this means), you better be able to take the pain, in my case I have a really high pain threshold, but it wasn't the most pleasant thing to go through. I also had all the hair removed on my body including underarm, arms, legs, back, and chest. None of my underarm hair ever grew back, and my legs have mostly stayed free of hair regrowth, but hair I have had some hair regrowth for my chest, male brazilian area, and back. While some has come back, it is much less dense than originally. 1

Yes. I had my diaper area professionally groomed. Trimmed the pubic hair, waxed the butt, crack, taint, and "the boys". Since then, I have used this to maintain the waxed area while trimming the pubes. I've been happy with the results.....the only negative is that the cream does smell a bit. 1

I'm transitioning and that is the reason I'm getting those areas done. Luckily, I don't have any back hair and the reason I'm doing my arms is because they were always hairy, even as a child. Yes, I'm not looking forward to getting my downstairs done and that is why I'm putting it off for right now. I don't mind shaving my armpits and legs, and HRT will thin and slow down hair growth to where I can go from shaving two to three times a week to once a week.

Not needing to shave my legs and underarms keeps them very smooth and soft. I get complements on how smooth and soft my legs are.
Dee Cee Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 My wife just uses one of her old disposable razors , and she just shaves every square centimeter of my diapered area , every now and again , and I mean the whole area , smooth as a babies front and back , it makes for an easier clean up , plus cuts down on pubic hair stink from havin , poop just smeared around in it , and soap , just doesn’t fill the bill , but shaving is the ticket ! Plus there is nothing to slow the mess from just going everywhere , and it just feels all the more , messier, too 😁
