playing with legos

I heard Trey Parker from South Park will play with Legos whenever he has a creative block... Makes me think that maybe there's something to unlocking the creative side when you can go into a space to use your imagination.

I still play and buy legos.   I even have some legos kits displayed in my office at work.   Granted they tend to be the more expensive ones.   I buy a kit and slowly put them together at work.   I also have a bucket legos I still play with. I have a family with a 12 and 15 years legos is one way to be a kid out in the open.

Love LEGO I love the term AFOL - adult fans of LEGO.  I just started collecting again.

I'd like to but I'm restricted when it comes to space and they can be rather expensive. I also sold off all my Legos years ago for quick use cash, 😔.

Legos are intellectually so versatile. They can give a person the ability to regress and just play. For more "applied adult minds" it might make engineering itches be dwelt with. Then there are the more esoteric avenues for videographers/photographers through stop-motion. In other words, set it up and then bring it to life click by click. Let us also not forget how a finished model might look over the fireplace!

@munkey Hey there! What do you think of Dublo blocks? Or other such larger block sizings?

I prefer LEGO myself. Duplo was never really my thing.  You can find bricks that look like LEGO, however, LEGO just clicks better

Yes, I also still play with LEGO. 🤗

But I've never been a fan of Dublo. 🤮They are for babies (I am a toddler, a big boy and an adult). And Duplo wasn't invented until after I was a baby ages ago. 😛
