I had training in lower Manhattan and the second time on the subway I said I would try to get a block closer.  I got off and onto another train, but I was going in the wrong direction and had to do a u-turn.  When I did that I got into the rush hour crowd coming from LI or Brooklyn--there was practically no room.  I ended up just getting off the next stop and tried to look for the sun to figure out the  three blocks I had to walk.  I felt anal after that. ????
