Night Shift problems

I work nights, and on my nights off trying to stay up, when I am online webpages covered in white hurt my eyes.  I found a solution if you use Chrome as your browser.  It is a forced dark mode on all websites and it works wonders for me.  If you are interested I found it here:  https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-forcibly-enable-dark-mode-in-on-every-website-with-google-chrome/  That is a screen shot of the forums here with dark mode turned on.

Yes dark mode does relieve  strain on the eyes. but i have windows 10 and use night light in the windows 10 settings works just as well.

It's the opposite for me.  If I try to use the "dark mode", in just a few moments I start to see horizontal lines every time I move my eyes.

I think it is my monitor or graphics card settings, but even with the night light turned on with Windows 10, it is still too bright.

DD already has 2 different dark themes if that helps.

I hadn't seen that, but most sites out there do not have a dark theme and it annoys me when I don't want to make my eyes hurt.
