Oh that is the worst. It's why I like the term alterous I just find it impossible to differentiate romantic and emotional attraction.

For some of us they're pretty deeply intwined.  I don't identify as demi but I've basically never looked at another human being and thought "ooo, I want to have sex with that person".

Attraction is a very mental/emotional thing for me.  I'm attracted to kindness and compassion, to gentleness and caregivers... but I'm turned on by rough handling, scolding, and objectification... the turnons don't work unless I'm already attracted to a person, unless I already feel safe with that person.  They're very scary/bad if I don't feel safe with a person.

When I look at other people in a desirous way it tends to be, "Oh, look at her waist... that looks amazing, I wish I looked like that."  Or "Her hair is so pretty, that looks really good on her."  It's never a "I want to shove that person down and lick them" or anything.  I've never understood that sort of "animal attraction"

Funny thing for me, when i look at a woman i first think how she looks, then how she handles herself (body language), then i think about how it would feel to hold them or they hold onto me. I never think about sex with someone else.

Tumblr is a blogging platform - I did a questionnaire thingy called "30 Days of CG/l", for example, where I answered a question a day for a month, talking about my thoughts and feelings on the CG/l dynamic, among other things.

There are lots and lots of tumblr blogs, and quite a lot of AB/DL content there, too.

Not quiiiiite the same thing, Drax was oblivious, whereas I'm aware that I'm vain and a little ashamed of it because it's not a virtuous trait.

And the sloth ones are my favorite wintertime PJs, in the summer my favorite are my shark PJs with sharp, fierce teeth.  Raaar.
