Yeah, the first time around, it was WOW!, OMG!, and several other things.

OK Kimmy, the new Epilogue did provide more closure, especially to those before who still wanted Fiona at the end.  But it lacks the closure for the Carol fans still, and how that restaurant messed her up.   However, it does provide me a new place to give you a point whenever I get one!

Honestly for me it was seeing Aimee broken, but I think I understand Wendy more. I can't necessarily feel sympathy for her, but even monsters can have hopes, dreams and aspirations. To me the tragedy is what this clearly bright and loving person could have been had someone seen the growing darkness and helped them before it got to this point.

I figured you'd be gleeful - Carol did almost exactly what you said you wanted to do... they traced the feed and she showed up and killed her.  I'm surprised that sadness is your reaction.

Wendy was Best Girl - it would have been Happily Darkly After with them... but Carol was unstable and drugged from the Catalon cuisine she consumed daily for a week (and she had no tolerance).

I remember writing this scene and barely blinking, my hands were shaking when it was done.  I am extremely proud of the shock that comes with this one.

This epilogue is relatively mostly the same, but Fiona's professional little is new... Which, dang, that just really hit me hard lol amazing as always and really cant wait to see what else you brew up Kimmy ^^

Oh!  We started a 5th page and I didn't see it!

I never understood the Fiona fans... Fiona wasn't even a good friend, and she never wanted to be a mommy.  Getting someone to do something that you want deeply and they don't that requires a long-term commitment is a recipe for resentment and disaster - I know, I've lived it.  I've been with partners that I had to beg and cajole to indulge my Little side... it doesn't end well.

Dang, I should have added a news report or something about the Catalon restaurant that got shut down - I only mentioned it briefly and it's easy to miss.

Ah yeah... Aimee was really attached to her, and she felt wanted and loved for the first time in her life... and it was taken away.

It's not!  I reused the board game and the very very ending, but the restaurant scene is new, Charles is new, and I was more explicit about Aimee's feelings and activities, as well as Helen's.  The old epilogue was 1400 words, the new one is 2300.

It's more that Wendy awakened her to possibilities she had never considered.  If Wendy had never come into her life, Helen would have been her perfect match.  But Wendy showed her a whole new, dark world that revealed desires and cravings she never knew she had.

After Wendy.. it was hard to find joy in the innocence of being Little.

I was going to post the start of my new story, "The Biggest Little Vacation" the day after I finished up reposting Little Choices with the new epilogue... but for some reason I thought that was going to be on a Wednesday.

I'll post the first chapter of the new story on Monday!

Honestly my earlier reactions were out of fear/anger. I can't take joy in the death of someone even if they were completely reprehensible in their actions. Even if they were closest thing to an actual monster I can see them as a person and understand their motivations. At least once the fire and fury cools. Then it's sadness, exhaustion, frustration, and low smoldering exhausted anger at a universe that allows things like this to happen.

Gosh I almost wish there was a multiple ending to this story. I love Hellen personally but she still seems to lack confidence to take control like Aimee needs. It’s really sad to me. And I know Wendy was a little coo coo but that’s a sad end for her. I almost wish she could have lived.

My next story will be much gentler, much closer to Act 1 of "Making the Best of It"

This new epilogue really made Fiona look worse, with her adopting a little for her own uses. It looks like she never really loved or cared about Aimee. I was really rooting for her the first time you posted this story too.

Honestly, her "relationship" with Charles is much less heinous in my opinion.  They have a business arrangement - he plays the Adopted Little during the day, they go home and they each do their own thing, he does his finances, she plays games and they live a solitary life together.

She was USING Aimee, her lifelong best friend, manipulating her desires to get what she wanted.  Now, Aimee was WRONG to try and force her desires on Fiona, but Fiona was WRONG to accept those advances when it became convenient for her.

It's a big lesson in boundaries, something a lot of people (in my life) need to work on.

No doubt.  In my opinion, EVERYONE needs to go to therapy.  It doesn't matter if you're the most well-adjusted person in the world, there's a lesson to be learned and improvement to be made.

what a rousing ending.   Did not see it coming, and actually felt sad for losing wendy.  Loved the twist of Aimee going on cam for listeners at the end, seems she really took to that side of the relationship.  Look forward to your next tales - hoping there will be another dark one.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!  I really loved making the audience hate and fear Wendy and then making them so sad she died.  The story was a LOT of fun to write.

This story was a repost, I actually did start writing another dark story, wayyyyy darker than this before my life fell apart last year.

I missed commenting back and forth with everyone, and I missed sharing my stories.  I reached a few new people who had never seen my stories before with this repost, and it felt really good to share the twists and turns with them.

At this point, I have reposted all of my finished stories.  I won't repost "Save Yourself" until I have more progress on it and it's clear that I can finish the story.

I will have a brand new story starting tomorrow, when I post chapter 1 of "The Biggest Little Vacation"
