Ellie and Carol sat in Carol's bedroom after they put her things away, and just talked about different things.

Soon Ellie asked about her life and what it was like in foster care?

"Well I havent always been in foster care.

I am the third of 6 kids, my other siblings all learned that toilet training thing, me I guess I just never got it! I was 7 and still in daytime diapers.

My parents were the kind that were driven, Type A personalities!

They set goals and when they met that, they set new even higher goals!

Nighttime forget it! I bounced from foster home to foster home about 1 a year, one I lasted 3 days, it was because I was older and still wetting my bed at night.

I was back at the crisis nursery.

The home was the home for bedwetting girls like me, everybody knew if you was there it was because you wet your bed, the boys had Carlan House, the bedwetting girls was Rosemary House.

If it was a great story she had read it.

About that time a teacher came and said you two come with me.

About that time where Carol had dampened her panties.

He got on his radio, "We need a clean up in C Hall outside room 24!

The two girls were taken to the Principal's Office.

The Secretary came and said to her, we called your mom, she is on the way with a change of clothes for you.

A lady walked back to Misty.

"That is quite enough Carol said as she stood up to the lady, you hit her again and I will call CPS on you myself!"

She is not your property, she is your daughter, you dont own her!"

The lady turned and slapped Carol!

"The Principal had came out of his office when he heard the two girls talking, he just wanted to make sure nothing else popped off between the two.

He also saw the lady slap her daughter in the face and the other girl as well!

"Well I finally cought you.

I saw you hit your daughter and this girl Elenore!

Mrs Short would you call CPS! 

The Secretary said gladly.

She looked through her Roladex and put some numbers into a phone.

She gave the name and address of her school.

This morning they were enemies, not now they looked like friends.

Carol said something and Misty laughed.

Misty said something and Carol laughed.

Misty had no friends, a girl bumped into Misty.

Misty reddened and was about to say something! 

"Sorry we got in your road!" Said Carol.

"Yeah sorry!" Said Misty. 

Both the girl and Ellie had weird looks on their faces never in a million years did they ever think Misty would apologize about anything. 

In the Principals Office Barbara was talking "Alright what happened to Carol, how much trouble is she in?"

"She is not in trouble.

She  had been in a fight, one of the girls tripped her this morning, we have a girl who was somewhat of a bully.

Ellie took care of it."

They showed her the tapes. 

"Surely you cant blame Carol for that, that wasn't a fight!"

"That's the first interaction between the two." Said the principal

The second tape showed them about two hours later.

The girl gets in Carol's face she acts like she is going to punch Carol. Carol reacts to the near punch in the face by flinching.

Carol shuts her eyes and punches at the girl hitting her in the nose! 

If Barbara hadn't seen it she wouldn't of believed them that she even fought back.

"Wow! Said Barbara.

I dont believe it."

The teacher came and she watched the poor girl wet herself, not  a little but soaked herself.

The next the two girls are sitting outside the Principals office the two girls are just talking!

You can see from the cameras view the Principal watching from his office.

The screen splits and a lady walks in with some clothes she was sure for the wet girl.

The lady comes into where the two girls were.

The lady looks like she is reading the riot act to  the girl  when slap!  

It came so fast and hard that Barbara recoiled herself.

The lady went to slap the girl again. 

Carol stands up and from her body posture and the speed of her speech she was telling the lady off for beating her daughter.

The lady slaps Carol. 

"What the hell was that?" Asked Barbara?

She looked at Carol she hadn't flinched she took the slap her facial expression looks defiant.

Barbara admired her foster daughter for not reacting to the slap.

The Principal comes our and stops the lady from slapping either one of the girls.

She sees Carol help the wet girl and they grab the clothes and leave. The lady sits there and soon the police arrive you see them looking at a monitor.

One of the cops reacts with the force and speed that the lady slaps her daughter.

He rocks back just like Barbara herself had.

They both say wow!

When she slaps Carol they go put handcuffs on her.

About that time Mr. English shows up he is shown the same film and he smiles when Carol stands up to the lady. 

Barbara saw him walk in, "I'm proud of your daughter she stood up for her friend!"

"What are you going to do to that lady?" Asked Barbara?

"She has been arrested, were removing her daughter for the time being!

I want to talk to you about that."

"Me?" Demanded Barbara!

"Carol and Misty had a bumpy start I know, but they are best friends now and Carol is such a positive role model for her I was hoping you would take her until we can find a permanent placement for her?"

"They get along great now?" Barbara asked?

"Best friends!"  Said Mr English 

"She isn't going to try and hurt her later is she?"

" I dont think so, no!" said Mr English.

From the doorway Carol said "Please mom, Misty needs a good home.

She has never had one before?

Besides she fits in with this family.

She has a weak bladder like the rest of us!

Barbara asked "Carol are you sure she isn't going to hurt you again?"

"Yes mom I think were beyond that!"

"Alright Mr. English I guess you got a deal." Said Barbara.

Barbara took her three kids home.

Ellie did not like the fact that they now had Misty as a daughter as well as Carol now!

Misty had been a girl that until just recently had been a thorn in her side!

Misty was a wanna be bully.

After hearing about her mom, sounds like the reason she was a bully because she was being bullied.

She had seen Misty come to school with black eyes and fat lips, facial bruising, she just assumed they were ftom other kids she had attempted to bully.

She wasn't so sure now.

Ellie started feeling sorry for her now!

Carol was proud of herself, not for fighting, she was a diehard pacifist, she hated fighting!

She punched Misty because that's what Ellie had told her to do.

In fact she felt terrible for hitting her.

Now, she was proud that she had stood up for Misty against her mother. 

For some reason in her mind Misty's mother had represented Mrs. Shepherd, she didn't pass out but took that slap across her face and still stood up to get ready for another!

Truth was the slap stung, but she was expecting more!

She was expecting a lot more pain than there was.

She herself was surprised when it didn't hurt as bad as she was expecting! 

Misty felt awkward she had tried to bully both the other girls in the car. She had failed both times.

Now they were both becoming her foster sisters!

The time she worried most was when her mother was being nice.

That means she had came up with something totally new.

The fence post was one of those times.

Once they got home Barbra asked Misty what she liked best for dinner? 

Misty was kind of shocked, her mom cooked dinner and told her to eat or else.

She knew what the else was. She ate it!

"I like fried chicken." Misty said very quietly. 

"Fried Chicken, Misty that sounds perfect, we haven't had that in months!

Perfect!"

She got on line and ordered Fried chicken from one of those company's that deliver foods.

She also ordered Mashed Potatos and Gravy, Mac and Cheese, Coleslaw, it came with Biscuits as well as she ordered Diet Soda to go with it!

35 minutes later their feast arrived.

Both Ellie and Carol said "Chicken great idea mom!"

"Wasn't my idea, it was Misty's!" Said mom.

"Thanks Misty!" They both said in unison!

"Your welcome!" Said Misty.

After dinner Barbara said "You three and me make sure we all go potty before bedtime."

"How come?" Asked Carol?

"We had Diet Cola.

The caffeine and the sweetener Aspateme are diuretics, they make you pee more!

Since we all have problems.

"Got it mom!" Said Carol.

"I didn't know that, my mom used to give me that stuff all the time she told me I didnt need to get fat on all that sugar!" Said Misty!

Misty saw them all go into the living room.

That's where the TV  is at.

She got there and the TV wasn't on.

Instead they talked.

Barbra asked each kid what they were learning in school.

She showed genuine interest in their days.

Carol said she was already feeling overwhelmed in Math Class her other classes were great math on the other hand.... 

"I understand Ellie is pretty good at math.

Ellie do you think you could give her a hand?"

"Of Course mom!

I would be glad to!"

"How about you Misty?"

"Uhm my mom never encouraged me much in school, I'm not failing but I'm not the best in any of my classes either!"

"Well to my family Education is very important.

Can I tell you a story?" Asked Barbara?.

"Sure, I guess so." Said Misty.

"When Ellie was born, she was a difficult birth.

It left me wetting myself.

Something was torn.

That was until I got my AA. I was top student in my class.

At the 4 year college I studied and studied.

I got a major in business and a minor in accounting once again I was tops of my class.

I had my BB degree.

I was starting to think my mom and dad were wrong I am not stupid!

I got a real good job I was making $40,000 a year.

Just one job.

Not two plus going to school.

I went for my MBA Masters degree in business.

This time I wasn't number one I was number 3 out of the 100 that started with us!

I started getting promotions.

Today I am CFO.

That $44,000 I thought was so great I'm triple that now.

For me Education is everything!

My Ex, Ellie's dad wanted to come back, I told him to take a hike, I don't need a man like him!

I'm kind of big on Education!

I will never tell any of my girls, you included that your stupid!

Nobody is really stupid, they might not understand how to handle situations.

Misty started reading and doing her homework.

Next day at school when the teacher called for the packets one was handed in by Misty. 

She called Misty to her desk.

"Who did you get to do your work for you?"

"Nobody Mrs. Raush! I did it!"

"You really.

Did your mom do an exorcism on you or what?

I think this is the first assignment you have done in this class all year!"

"No, no exercism. I just changed moms!"

"Changed moms?

How do you do that?"

"My mom got caught abusing me I was given a foster mom.

She told me I wasn't stupid, I just lacked skills to be a good student.

I want to show her I can."

The teachers jaw dropped, last dealings she had with this girl she was threatened with physical violence.

She started looking over her work.

She missed like two questions.

Misty was  still there.

She wrote 18/20  Excellent job! On her paper.

"Great job Misty!

I always knew you were smart, you just didn't share that much with us!"

It was like that in all her classes.

One she had with Carol.

Her teacher Mr. Smith saw them talking before class.

"Miss is this girl threatening you?"

"Usually when she is talking to others she is threatening them!"

Misty gave the teacher a smile she handed her homework.

"No ma'am, this is History, I'm okay but I'm not good enough at it to do her homework.

I had a hard time with this assignment myself! I'm sure whatever she did was her own work!"

The teacher took her home work and marked everything wrong and wrote next time do your own work! 

She handed it back to Misty.

Carol saw tears in her eyes. "Dont worry I tell mom, this is bullshit!"

Misty started laughing!

It was just so out of character for Carol to cuss like that. 

When they got home Carol not Misty went and complained to her mom they went by Carol's work hers were right all except 1 according to Misty's she had the same 19 right and the one that Carol missed the teacher had written the  right answer. In and that's what Misty had. Misty had gotten a hundred but a zero.

She took her phone out and called a number.

"Adam this is Barb I'm going to be late tomorrow I have to go to the school and get after a teacher.

Gave my daughter a zero when she should of got a hundred!"

Next day Barbara took Misty with her to the teachers office. She introduced herself as "Misty's Foster mother, why did you give my daughter a zero when she got a hundred!"

"If she would hand her own work in I would of graded it accordingly!"

"Who was supposed to of done it for her?" Asked Barbara?

"Her so called sister, another new girl, I cant remember her name!"

"Carol her foster sister? Asked Barbara? You know I just recently have taken two girls into my home as foster daughters Carol Dinsmore and Misty Pike.

I saw Misty doing her own work she referred back to your paper it was her own work!"

"Sure it was! And I'm Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny!." Said the teacher

Misty was given a packet she read it and started answering the questions. 

30 minutes later she gave it to the teacher.

The teacher started checking her work his eyes kept getting bigger and bigger.

The last question he marked wrong.

One time I worked my butt off and did my home work, most of my teachers thought like Mr. Smith most of my work was filed  in the circular file.

I told my mom she slapped me and asked me who did it for you because you dont have brain one in that sawdust filled head of yours!

As nice and kind as he was I'm sure we would still be married.

I do kick myself at times for not being more interested in him.

About 2 weeks later Barbara got 2 good messages.

1. Was Misty's mother wasn't going to fight to get her back she claimed what she was getting back wasn't worth going to classes and then have supervised visits with her daughter to get her back in her home.

Misty was conflicted on one hand she was very happy here and loved having sister's.

Even her and Ellie had worked things out.

On the other hand she was her mom and she was hoping that they could reconcile, that wasn't in the cards now. 

Number 2. The guy that Barbara had wished she made more of an effort with.

The one who treated her with kindness.

His wife had dropped dead of a heart attack a few months ago he wanted to talk to her.

Would he really want a lady that cant stay dry, with 3 daughters now? She was sure if he was the same guy that wanted her 15 or 16 years ago, he would.

They had dinner plans for Friday night.

This was her first date since they last went out.

It wasn't like she was easy.

Barbara had only had sex with Ellie's dad.

Friday Douglas came and picked her up in his limo.

"Only one is mine Ellie.

I have two foster daughters Carol, and Misty, I'm working to adopt them two!"

We adopted Teri she was 8, she is 14 now.

We also have Mitch he's 10 he is our foster child and we were working on adoption before Rhonda died.

That's on hold for the time being.

"Yes we are, believe it or not Teri, is a lot like you.

She is diaper dependent.

To tell you the truth last time I had sex was before Ellie was born.

The next step was they went to Douglas's house.

Douglas brought out a girl and a boy this is Teri and Mitch.

They were told the same thing that the three other girls had been told.

"What would make you think that, she almost makes as much as I do, she is a CFO of a major corporation here in Arizona.

Now she is my sister and I love her now!

Problem was when he graduated he was ready to skip college and be one of the first to go straight to the NFL.

At 35 years old he still believes that any day some college will come and take him as a quarterback.

As a stepping stone to the NFL.

The long blonde locks he had are going silver and on the top of his head they have left altogether.

His brother was Douglas, he never was like his brother, always considered in Issac's shadow.

Never as good.

He's now eclipsed Isaac.

A bank president.

He makes more money in a year than his brother has the past ten years.

He still has the Trans Am but it's killing him to keep it running.

Its falling apart.

Just like him.

But he sees it and himself as they were in high school.

That or he isn't ready to admit defeat. 

I know I'm not that girl that was pretty enough to be a cheerleader but wasnt because I didnt want to shake my pompoms.

That and I didnt want to get that hollier than thou attitude that went with it.

I've always been down to earth.

I was voted most popular girl because I didnt act like I was better than everybody else.

I had friends that identified themseves from nerds to stoners and jocks I accepted everybody as they were! 

It wasnt even close the head cheerleader got 20 votes I got over 205 votes.

When he was gone Douglas would come and tell me what an idiot his brother was.

The closest I had ever came to  cheating on Issac was I had kissed Douglas once yet he called me whore and everything.

They were both sent home for the day they both got guns and went looking for each other when they found each other they started shooting at each other.

Problem was neither could hit a broad side of a barn.

They shot  other things one was a 5 year old kid riding on the bus with his mother as it drove by. 

The other hit a cop car.

When the police got involved both were shot by the police they both were sent to prison.

Only VP left was Douglas he was named president.

There have been no complaints the bank has doubled under his leadership.

Now this is the man I'm going to marry. Eat your heart out Issac!

Our wedding took place on a Saturday, I was surprised that Isaac did show up. 

I heard him coming his Trans Am sounded like crap.

It's about on its last leg.

He said to his brother, trying to make him feel guilty.

"Wasn't much to steal, you forgot, you abandoned them when, your daughter was just a little baby I'm just trying to clear our family name! You brought disgrace to it!"

Isaac acted like he was going to take a swing at Douglas!

"Forget it big brother, I am not afraid of you any more, in fact I think I can kick your ass now days!

Try growing up and get out of high school for Hell's sake!

Then told mom and dad a pack of lies.

We moved into Douglas's house.

We sold the condo that Barbara owned.

The girls loved getting together Teri found having sisters was pretty good They had each others backs.

At first Teri was apprehensive.

After a while she hoped he would.

"You know I'm so glad to have a son, I've never had one before, all I've had is daughter's.

I'm so glad I have you!"

His smile got bigger.

He looked shocked he had spoken.

Barbara had to contain her excitement, he spoke to me! 

"Why thank you! I think I got me a pretty special son as well!

Didn't your old mommy cuddle with you like this?"

He shook his head no.

"She didn't like hugging us.

She didn't know how to love us, she was nice just not good at hugging!"

"Well anytime you want a hug, come find me.

I give them away for free!" Said Barbara 

"Okay!" Said Mitch.

"Can I have another?"

She gave him a bear hug.

He melted into it.

The kid craved affection!

With parents he was born to, they beat him until he was silent.

Then he got Douglas's wife who was a good woman just not affectionate.

Now he had a loving cuddling mom.

He was eating it up. 

"Thank You!" He said.

"Your very welcome!

"Okay!" He said as he left.

At dinner they put broccoli on Mitch's plate.

"I don't like broccoli!"

Everybody was so shocked he had spoken. 

Teri was so shocked she absentmindedly scraped the broccoli of his plate back into the dish.

As he took his plate from her sans broccoli!

He ate the meat. 

For desert they had ice cream 

Mitch grabbed his head, "Cold headache!"

"They call that a brain freeze," said Mitzy.

"Brain Frozen!" He said.

Everybody laughed. He smiled along with Everybody else. 

Barbara looked Douglas had tears in his eyes!

That night Douglas asked me "what happened?"

Barbara told him about how she was just reading when Mitch came up and just kind of stood by me I put my book down and motioned him to sit on my lap.

I gave him  a hug.

He melted into it.

I asked him "If his mom, your first wife had ever hugged him like this he said, "No!"

I tried not to make a big deal out of it and we had a conversation."

"My first wife, she was sexually abused when she was younger.

She was never into sex, she felt dirty all the time.

I told her once, I told he a million times it wasnt her, she was a victim!

It's kind if hard to have kids when your not having sex.

When Ellie was getting older and still not getting dry.

I started becoming my dad.

I got just as verbally abusive as he used to be me when I became her age and was still wetting my bed.

Douglas and Barbara had sex that night, for Douglas it was the first time in years!

"Nonsense! I have a 42 year old mother I'm dealing with right now. 

That's 4 years older than you and she couldnt be happier and it's her 6th kid.

She can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl.

She didn't want me to tell her that its a boy, that means it will three girls and three boys!

I don't know about this Barbara thought.

Barbara had to tell Douglas she was pregnant and she was anemic, no cancer!

Douglas was glad she didnt have any cancer.

He was also glad he was going to be a dad for real. 

He was more positive than Barbara about being a parent. 

Barbara explained that the last birth she had left her without control of her bladder, she was afraid this time that this go round she would be left a pooper!

Douglas asked "Before you found out that Elly left you incontinent how did you feel?"

"I was glad I couldn't wait to be a mom!

I was also hoping that your brother didn't pass on any type of disease that would cause her problems, I was sure that he was already sleeping around on me.

I hadn't caught him yet but I was sure he was already guilty. 

He wasn't as happy as you, to him Elly was just another mouth to feed, that meant less money for his precious Trans Am!

He is my age and still believes some team will draft him as a QB into the NFL."

"He didn't, he thought that he was going straight out of High School right to the NFL."

"If you didn't know, I played QB in high school and at Harvard.

I knew I wasn't good enough for the NFL.

And I was pretty good!"

"Like I said, he still believes it will happen, what happened why didn't you go to the NFL?"

"I got injured my senior year at Harvard.

A big linebacker from Dartmouth sacked me.

We both connected pretty hard, both of us injured on the same play, same way!"

"Uh, no somthing else!"

Adam blushed.

Barbara for some reason didn't want everybody to know she was pregnant.

She was getting towards her mid to late 30's she was 19 when Ellie was born.

There was Ellie, Gabby, Danielle Sarah, Carrie and Kerri, Carol, Misty, Teri.

They had a sleepover and Mitch got caught by the girls.

Truth was he kind of liked it.

Then he got the guilt, what would his mother or dad think of him dressing up like a girl, was it normal for a boy wanting to be a girl?

Heck he was enjoying himself!

He got to sleep over with them that night, he felt like one of the girls.

He had a crush on Carol still, but Gabby wasn't his sister, he liked her as well. 

They played Truth or Dare and Gabby chose dare!

She had to kiss Mindy!

Mitch was in heaven.

He was kissing his favorite girl other than Carol.

They kissed for about 20 Seconds! It was the best 20 seconds of Mitch's/ Mindy's young life.

After a while they kind of forgot that Mindy was a male.

He went and showered in his room then went down for breakfast, Gabby sat by him and when nobody was watching grabbed his hand and held it under the table. 

For Mitch this was a first this was his first love, well he had a crush on Carol that didn't go far.

Gabby at least liked him back.

They went to the mall and of course Mindy was invited.

He was redressed as Mindy and was taken with the girls to the mall.

They had to smuggle him out so their parents wouldn't catch them having Mitch be Mindy. 

While at the mall Gabby was always with Mindy.

They ate at the food court and a few guys came and tried to pick up the girls.

They were shot down, one guy looked at Mindy. 

"This is a dude!"

He said loud enough for everybody to hear, at least the guys that had been trying to pick them up.

Mitch felt fear in his stomach, he knew this wasn't good. 

The other boys surrounded him.

The girls moved in a group to protect him.

"Come on don't you guys have an annoying little brother or sister?

We had a sleep over last night and he crashed our party this is what we did to him to teach him a lesson!" Said Gabby.

"So he doesn't normally look like this," asked one of the guys?

"No normally he is just my annoying little brother!" Added Carol.

"His name is Mitch, but we're calling him Mindy today." Said Ellie.

Soon the boys were laughing. 

"Robbie, maybe we should put your annoying little sister in a jock strap or something next time she bugs us!"

"Shut up it ain't happening.

Mom and dad would kill me!

She would blab!"

Kerri said "Get pictures to blackmail her with, that's how were keeping Mindy/ Mitch in line.

He was in his normal clothes this morning for breakfast, now look at him!

Besides l have a brother that dresses as a sister every day, this isn't new for me!

"What do you think of this Mindy?" Asked Robbie?

"Being dressed like this sucks, but I get to hang out with my sisters and her friends, that's all I wanted!"

"I can live with that said Robbie, you do make a convincing girl, almost!" The boys all walked away laughing. 

The girls including Mindy all relaxed.

They finished their meal.

The girls had put Mitch in a diaper under his panties it was a good thing he had been scared enough to use it!
