pyezowet
Today I decided to buy a waterproof mattress protector as a just incase of a leak or a accident, I never thought it would be this crinkly and loud, just worried I won't get used to the feeling of laying on it l, guessing I'm asking is there any way to get used to the feeling of a waterproof protector other then just trying to sleep on it Link to comment
Tadpole
Yup - takes a few weeks and then after that it becomes normal! Link to comment
Loveable_guy
Yep, you have to have a mattress protector. This has saved my ass more than a few times. Link to comment
PlstkBakdnghtnday
My mattress protector is cloth like. Feels like a wash cloth but liquid just beads up and doesn't penetrate. They sold it to us with the king size pillow top. Link to comment
jimmyic
I have had a plastic sheet on my bed most of my life. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
At this point, one would think that plastic or other wetproof mattress covers have become universal to protect aganst dist mites, molds and spills. They have been around for over 40 years Link to comment
Kaliborio
Can verify, you do get used to it, OP. No worries. Link to comment
rosalie.bent
Why not put a cotton mattress protector over the top of the plastic one. That way you arent lying on the plastic and the crackling is much less. Assuming you are wearing diapers, you are wanting a mattress protector for FINAL protection not primary protection.
