No one is guaranteed happiness, or a smooth road in life. Life is hard, sometimes almost unbearable. Loved ones, dear friends, people who care are the harbingers of hope in a seemingly hopeless world. This year don't look with envy at the people on the ladder of life above you, wishing you had what they have, or could achieve what they have achieved. Instead look below, on the people who are on the ladder of life who do not share the blessings you have. Offer them a hand up. Learn to express yourself in hopeful and encouraging words. Do acts of kindness. Your new year will be filled with hopeful blessings if you do.
