Elfy Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 As far as I know anything that you stick up your back passage will have a lot of absorbed very quickly because of how all that area works so if you do anything there too often it will cause problems, but once every two weeks is probably OK? You are just getting a lot of potassium when you do it.
bobby Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Of course, care should be taken when you're inserting anything into your body, but you're not going to cause a life threatening electrolyte imbalance.
Baby Brian Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Another thing to consider is that even if your bowels can absorb non-water soluble minerals (ie potasium or sugar), the normal digestive process break up the food you normally eat into very tiny pieces so your intestines can absorb it all. Inserting a large piece of food into your rectum will only expose the outer layer of that food to your rectum.
