Minakochan
OMG, is there a rock where I can live under for the rest of my life? I tried to buy my first diapers at a local pharmacy. After a few times walking passed the pharmacy (it was too crowded), I dared to enter. Only one person was present at that time. Unfortunately, others entered after me and suddenly it was crowded again. I handed my note I had prepared. 'One package of Tena Maxi size M'. The girl behind the desk asked me for a prescription. Well, I felt my face turning red and told her I didn't have one and asked if I needed one. Well, you need a prescription if you want the costs back from the medical insurance. At that moment I felt all people were listening to our conversation. The girl then asked me for whom it was, so she could look it up in the computer. I hesitated and my brain stopped working for a moment, suddenly my mouth whispered "for me". The girl stared at me, didn't asked any questions anymore and told me she would get me a package. She came back empty handed, apologized and told me the Tena diapers were out of stock, but they will get new ones tomorrow. She handed a plastic bag she had prepared and told me it contained a few diapers I could use for the time being. I took the bag, thanked her and turned around to leave the pharmacy. In a split second I noticed a fellow student from my class. I ignored him and left. My face glowing of embarrassment. Oh, my ... ... but I'm now sitting on my bed with a few adult diapers! Yeah! ^^ Now what? Hahaha ... and shall I get back tomorrow to get the package I wanted? heh, very excited about this. I really hope the boy from college will not think I need diapers! or will tell anyone. Damn, that's something I don't like to think about. >< Link to comment
AwakenEvil
Lol likely they wont think anything of it... what do people buy at drug stores... drugs... likely he will assume you are getting medicine Link to comment
Baby Brian
I'd also recommend you call ahead before trying to pick them up again. And yeah, I doubt the boy would have noticed you had a bag, let alone what was in the bag. Link to comment
Bonsai
Don't worry about the boy, even if he guessed about what you wanted, he has no reason to confront and embarrass you with that. Enjoy the free diapers, today's adrenaline rush and the anticipation for tomorrow! Link to comment
Diaper_Lover_HI
I would not worry about your classmate being there. Enjoy your free diapers... next time you go shopping for diapers make sure you are diapered... Just in case you can overly nervous and wet... Link to comment

Minakochan
I'm back and it was an intense experience (again). I waited until there were no people inside, fortunately that didn't take much time. When I stepped inside, the same girl recognized me and asked me to follow her. She guided me to the back to a separate room. Judging from the posters and folders present it was a private room to discuss private matters. She asked if I wanted something to drink, but I declined. She told me to sit, with some hesitation I did. On the table was a pile of folders she already had prepared for me. She was expecting me. I felt nervous beyond what I believed was possible. I think she noticed that also, because she started to touch my leg and told me to relax. At that moment I realized she would ask me questions, OMG! How old are you? Can you tell me why I need diapers? Have you ever discussed it with a doctor or tried therapy? How many diapers do you use in a week? What kind of problems do you have with your continence? Are you satisfied with your solution? To my own surprise, I had a convincing answer to her questions. I'm 21 years old and since puberty I have occasionally accidents and wet my bed in the night. I do pelvic exercises. Normally it's not a big deal, but when I sleepover at friends, I like to wear a diaper under my nightdress. She gave me lots of advice and suggested different type of protection, because I didn't needed such a high degree of protection. She showed different sanitary towels and different pull-up pants. I could tell she really cared about me. I insisted on my initial choice. When she finished with her advice, she told me that the Tena Slip Maxi diapers didn't arrived that morning, but If I wanted I could buy Tena Ultimate diapers. I agreed. She gave a HUGE plastic bag, inside folders, samples of Tena Lady towels and pants. I noticed that another girl smiled to me in a friendly way, apparently my problems had been disscussed ... and that was it. Fortunately, my roomies weren't home when I arrived with that huge pharmacy bag. Now, I'm in my room, door locked, thinking really hard were to hide this large pack. I'm happy, excited and proud. My first pack of diapers. Oh, @Hawai_baby: I didn't wear a diaper, I totally forgot, sorry;) Link to comment
babyleanna75
I personally would have told the pharmacy that it is non of their business why I was buying the diapers and when I was your I wasn't incontinent though I wet the bed once in a blue moon but didn't wear diapers for that. I did buy and wear diapers for fun however. Link to comment
Bonsai
Wow!!! I would never have expected something like that! Surely, someone from Tena did his (or her...) job, to train your girl up to the level she needed to interview you so efficiently. I'm glad you can now enjoy the content of your huge bag Link to comment

Minakochan
The only ones available of the self are Drinites http://www.wilko.com/content/ebiz/wilkinsonplus/invt/0288088/0288088_l.jpgMaybe I will buy these, they look cute. In my country it's normal that the pharmacist gives information about the best solutions to different kind of problems. They not only sell stuff. The general practitioners don't have time and special trained personal talk with people to aid them. I didn't realized beforehand I would be taken apart with my 'problem', but it's not abnormal. I could refuse of course, but that's not something you easily do. There was absolutely no pressure, she only wanted to discuss the best solution for me and gave product advise. Link to comment
Diaper_Lover_HI
Thats nice that you got the attention and help you needed Minakochan. Wish they did that here in Hawaii.. How are you liking the Tena Diapers? Link to comment
Hookedondiapers
This is a common thing in Europe. Link to comment
babyleanna75
It kind of sort of is some of their business, because it's their job to make sure incontinent people are getting reimbursed or covered through their insurance from them, should they have insurance. They're not trying to be nosy and I'm pretty sure they don't care if someone has to wear adult diapers, y'know? Link to comment

Minakochan
The reason they asked questions was not to get a prescription, but to investigate with me what method of protection was the best for my problem. It was not easy to answer the detailed questions though I still need to get a good hiding place for my stuff. The pack of diapers is much larger then expected and doesn't fit my clothing closed discreetly. And I really need to remember to keep things out-of-site. A roomie saw a DVD from Corewellness I got and asked me if I did pelvic exercises? Well, pelvic exercises are not uncommon for woman, but if she had noticed the Tena folders and the sample pack of Tena pants and towels on the bed, I had more to explain. Fortunately, it's always a mess in my room. It's kind of weird, but I still haven't opened any package, because I feel I want to make that moment special. #weirdgirl Link to comment
babyleanna75
I don't know if you are close to a Reaz store but looks like they are ABDL friendly. Link to comment
Bonsai
Which are exactly the free samples you have received from the chemist girl? If you plan to go there shopping again, someone might remember of you and then it would be better to give them some sort of feedback on your first purchase and maybe also on the samples they gave you. Minakochan
@Bonsai, good suggestion. She gave me some bigger versions of Tena Lady Towels and a few Tena Pants. She really thought that I didn't need the Tena Slip diapers, too much for my problem, but she respected my choice for wanting the best protection of course. Need to think about a good story, for the next time. All diaper stuff is in my clothing cabinet (good English?), behind my clothes and out-of-side, unless someone wants to lend some clothes haha. Last night is slept with a Tena Ultimate diaper. Yeah, I'm not a diaper virgin anymore. After some little trying to put in on, I was proud to feel it. It made me feel little, and I liked it. Is was much warmer to wear then expected and I didn't sleep very well. I didn't dare to pee into the diaper this morning. So, still need some (reversal) diaper training I suppose. Now at school, but not wearing a diaper. I know, I'm a bad babygirl Link to comment

I know, I'm a bad babygirl Sorry I gave you some bad advice I thought you were in Canada which is where Rearz is. But you could search and see if there is an ABDL store near you so you wouldn't have to make up a story. But my advice on telling the pharmacy is good and so is the bedwetting story someone commented on first page I would add to it in telling them that it is no big deal to you and can afford the diapers and would rather not involve the doctor to get a prescription and the store would more than likely leave you alone at that. Wish you good luck in buying diapers. Link to comment

BowsAndRibbons
This is a common thing in Europe. The pharmacy workers are much like they were in the USA about 60 years ago - trained to understand customers heath needs. I had a similar experience in Germany. The pharmacy didn't have Molicare Super in Medium, but after a short conversation in my bad German and their limited English, I walked out with a bunch of free samples, and they ordered the Molicare for me. How did you go about doing that? I'm in Germany now, and I'm having the worst possible time finding diapers. Link to comment
