Managing With Cloth Diapers

I have found a very simple way to put on a cloth diaper. Simply pin the diaper before putting it on so all you have to do is pull it up. You soon know where to place the pins to get a snug fit. As soon as my diapers are out of the dryer I pin them and put them on the shelf ready for use. Comments anyone?

What style cloth diaper are you using? Might work with some AIO's or contour

diapers. Can't see it working with flats or prefolds.

I either wear cloth diapers from Rearz or baby pants both are prefolds.

Well I have hips, so this would never work for me.

Yeah, much more snug if you pin them on instead of prepinning. The diaper would be too loose for me and besides, I install a soaker panel before putting my diaper on.

I can never pin the diaper on right, or to my satisfaction. I started using snappi's and boingo's, but some times the boingos will come undone not really sure why.

I use Boingos all the time and have had that happen to me. I think it's either I didn't stretch

it enough or the front of my diaper got so wet it just let loose. For my overnight use I back

them up with pins as I do toss and turn a lot.

I agree with toddler, and it may depend on your build, but if find that pinning up the diapers before putting them on give me a much tighter fit.

Just pin them up rally tight.

If your body is shaped to where pre-pinning works then go for it But with most girls and many guys it just doesn't work because the top of the diaper ends up in a smaller area than it has to go over when pulled up, so if it can pass over the larger area it ends up loose when the procedure is complete

I agree! Pre-pinning allows you to have a snug comfortable fit.
