babyleanna75
The doctor said I have mild sleep appliances when sleeping on my back, but didn't sleep on my back enough to warrant the use of the CPAP machine. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
Brian, let me amend that: For a sleep study, I don't recommend anything strong....especially if it is out of the ordinary for you. Link to comment
WeaselDiaperBoy
I've done a few of these. I will likely have another one done again before the end of the year for a titration. I never have trouble falling asleep, but my dad once told me I was born tired. Sent from my KFSOWI using Tapatalk Link to comment

babyleanna75
Baby Brian the sleep study center I went to uses sleeping pills all the time. They gave me one when I was having trouble getting to sleep. Link to comment
Kodachi96
Like to know where you took your sleep study Dill. The bed I had was a queen and plenty fluffy. I was told to wear a t-shirt and shorts because of the wires and such. Had like four pillows to choose from and the bed was really nice. Slept well in it. Didn't need any sleep aids. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
I took my sleep studies in a wired hotel room, on a king-sized bed with lots of pillows, Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, VA. Link to comment
BabyTara
I was told to take my normal medication the night of my sleep study (including doxepin for sleep). They even offered me Ambien (which I can't take due to the fact that it makes me sleep walk). Link to comment
thickdiaperedbaby
Ok...question for you all. How do you know to go to a sleep study? Is this something that a doctor recommends? What triggers the need for one? I am a single guy, so don't have anybody to tell me if I have issues (other than wetting/messing issues, that is ) at night. Sometimes I sleep well, sometimes I don't. I certainly don't sleep as well as I did as a teen, but in the winter I seem to be able to sleep for about 8-9 hours/night. Summer, much less. Link to comment
