little_kristy
So I've recently started to get into the wonderful world of D&D and I've wanted to run something. Link to comment
Andrew87
Well I told you in chat but I probably would be interested Link to comment
BabyGizmo
I run campaigns in my home mostly using a few digital programs. Online play is amazing and convenient due to distance and time zones being a tricky thing to work around. The other benifits are digital dice so there is a low cost to entry, Programed rules so there is no need to grab a book to double check or cheating Link to comment
little_kristy
So I'm going to be doing 3.5 campaign and I have one person whom is in the process of making a character sheet. I would recommend that you get the Players Handbook in order to make a character. I would also recommend getting the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Monster Manual. I'm going to be starting off the characters at lvl 4 so Link to comment
AwakenEvil
Kristy! Just be a TPK Judge! Those are the best! Ask anyone from a Missouri table with a group known as "Dead Man Walking" and they'll tell you about my former society group! Link to comment

little_kristy
We have a sorcerer. Kinda keeping a broad in the variety of group we have. You could always multi-class it. We are looking for at the very least somebody whom is a low level cleric/monk. Or heck we're looking for a rogue as well. Or a ranger......But I'm trying to keep it broad so we don't have a group of nothing but wizards or barbarians. Message me to let me know what we can work out Link to comment
steveg
i prefer my home based D &D group lol nothing like it not too sure about the online role play we have been hosing games for the last 5 years every saturday up here in wa state Link to comment
Little-Daddy-Toa
I would say I would since my favorite class is a ranger. But I prefer a physical game. Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
Well I think that this keep things broad enough, but I'll be doing a (Human) Hexblade, though I am thinking of choosing spellscale as my race - if I'm allowed to do that =p. Link to comment
little_kristy
Is hexblade from one of the supplements? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Also, I'm about ready to post the synopsis of the campaign here inna bit. Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
it's in the Complete Warrior, and it also appears in PH2. Link to comment
little_kristy
Hrm. I just have the regular 3.5 PHB Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
I got carried away =p. Link to comment
little_kristy
Human Druid is fine. We need to see about getting a Cleric or a rogue. Not necessary but if everybody is fine with the role that they have now I might just have one hired or have a NPC for one. Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
When it comes to our character's HP, do we just max out each HD, or do you want us to roll for each level? Normally, it seems that when you create a first lv character you get the max HP from your HD, and at each level you gain you roll your HD and add that (along with your CON modifier) to your HP. But since we're starting off at 4th lv I don't know how we should proceed. Link to comment
little_kristy
I think it would be better rolling for each level. That way characters aren't coming out cookie cutter-ish and rolling for character stats. Rolling 4d4 and dropping the lowest. The only one I would do for you would be starting off gold Link to comment
little_kristy
So please people contact me with your (completed) character sheet with the character plot I have in mind. If you don't want to do a character sheet with me I can make one up for you. I'm in the process of learning roll20 so I'm expecting in a few weeks/months for everything to be kosher Link to comment
