It is indeed a problem when any normal bodily function is not allowed to be dealt with in a dignified manner with everyone understanding that this is normal and there is nothing wrong with it, nor its it anything to be ashamed of over. The article refers to Zimbabwe, a very different culture than where most of us live, yet the problem is more universal. It is much like how in some places, urinating in semi-public places is not seen so badly- when one has to go one does the best one can- it is simply a bodily function Yet here where I live is not only gets you charged with indecent exposure, it also turns you into a sex offender and now your own children may be taken away from you, and if you work in Childcare you no longer have a career simply because you had to pee right now Yet somehow the idiots who run the show here think there's nothing wrong with this when it is just as bad as Zimbabwe and their handling of a different bodily function
