redneck diaper boy
I have been plagued with this affliction for years and this is the best laxative that I have ever tried. My doctor wrote me a prescription for Linzess. There is no cramping. It works quickly. It is a prescription medication. Link to comment
Bettypooh
After my round with Polyps, all the doctors and all the info I could find myself said that the best and safest laxatives were natural fiber types, with Metamucil being mentioned specifically by most. "Equate" is a generic of that ant under half the price. Almost all said to avoid chemical-based laxatives as your body can become dependent on them to have normal BM's. I was lucky to have survived my problem that time and I've learned a lot afterward which could have saved me a lot of pain and misery Link to comment
beallucanb
Thruout my entire life I have had consitaption issues, I tried all kinds of laxatives only to find them sometimes too harsh but most of the time too slow. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
The issue with both laxatives and enemas is dependence....that is, while beallucanbe is enjoying the results of his enemas, the betting is that he'll be in pain if he doesn't get his morning enema, and that is not a good thing! Dill_Pickle
Betty: I should have said GENERAL long-term use...seems everyone has some special circumstances, especially on DailyDi. Link to comment
