wearer24/7
keep wearing the same wet diaper for a long time also poop in your diaper without using cream and don't have a change for a few hours, this will usually do it. Link to comment
baby_alycia
even for a firstie? Link to comment
Nat
It may take a while and a diaper rash hurts. You wouldn't want one and it stings when pee hits it. Usually staying in the same diaper all day will do it. You can feel it starting when your skin stings. Also don't use rash cream and it will break out into a rash. Link to comment
Codymoogle
"Firstie", I'm assuming, means "new to diapers"...If so, that actually makes it EASIER to get a rash. Link to comment
mahleedl
Combine the above for max effect. i.e. cut back on water, wet heavily, and poop. The bacteria in feces will speed up the breakdown of urine to ammonia. Then spend all day in it, and go for a long walk... Be prepared: as others have mentioned, it ain't much fun, and if you get a really good one, it'll take some effort to get rid of. Personally, I don't ever want a rash again. There's no element of it that's fun for me. Just sayin'... MDL Link to comment
bwakee
While I see the importance of being able to recognize diaper rash, and know what it's like... That's really only useful for knowing how to prevent it. In other words, just count your blessings and enjoy being rash-resistant. You don't want diaper rash. You don't. Link to comment
