Angela Bauer
After becoming active here on DD I read good things about IMABDL. When I registered it demanded a one-time payment for a life-time subscription. So, why a few minutes ago when I tried to log onto that site did the system require another payment? Did I pass away recently without being told? This sort of deceptive trade practice using credit cards in Interstate commerce is regulated by many US Federal laws. Perhaps the owner of that site believes when each subscriber only paid US$10.00 each they will just forget the issue. Do they understand the RICCO laws and the consequences for RICCO violations? Perhaps the next knock on the owner's door will be Federal law enforcement with a warrant. Gosh, all those pesky legal and bail bond fees could be avoided by playing fair with subscribers. I'm just saying. Link to comment
Guest YkDave
Haha, their has been alot of dirt kicked up over some of those sites over the last few months... It usually just turns out to be a bunch of bickering and the thread being closed... Link to comment
DailyDi
I just checked and was able to login fine without being asked to pay again. I know when they redid the site a lot of passwords got reset. Did you try recovering the password to your account? Maybe the system is treating you like a new user or something weird. Link to comment
tris
imabdl? Isn't that what's-her-name from C***, NC that's all Gator crazy? I wouldn't expect an avid forum visitor like Mrs. A.B. to take a chance on a website so recently flamed for their lack of follow-thru when it came to their paying customers. :/ Link to comment
diamondback6881
That happened to me yesterday, Angela. Just log out and log back in using the same log-in info and it should work. Link to comment
leafy kille
the internet is realy great for porn ... (see treckie and kate monster "the internet is for porn" video) when there is so much free stuff on the net why pay? since i can barely afford my rent and bills i can scarcely afford to pay for internet stuff that is essentialy a luxuary. (id rather spend it on just about anything else like nappies for example!) Link to comment
Angela Bauer
Several minutes ago I tried another time to log onto IMABDL. The Admin there had sent me several e-mail and issues me a new temporary password. Many times those did not help. The Admin suggested using a different browser. For years I have depended on Mozilla Firefox, which I keep up to date. I also keep my IE-7 updated. I tried IE and got the same error message. This recent attempt was made using Mozilla. Repaid1
Bummer Angela, but hey it good that your complaints aren't falling on deaf ears.....seems they are trying to resolve the issue and thats a good thing. Hey we have issues here as well...these darn puters' are fun when they work right, but when they don't...OH HEck!!! Link to comment
Angela Bauer
Those pesky 'puters. We can't live with them and we can't live without them. My experience is spanking computers does no good! For example, yesterday I wrote a short post saying that suddenly I was able to logon IMABDL. I am sure I posted it on this topic and now I do not find it. Bottom line is their server was letting some people on and excluding others. That is much less a problem with DD because we have such a good server. Good servers cost significant money, which is why we need sponsors and should contributes as best we can. How did that 1960's saying go? Gas, Grass or Ass, nobody rides for free! There are no free rides on-line. I expect to pay my share. The thing is I am not the one who decided to sell lifetime subscriptions. I also am not the one who consulted on such a business plan. I promised the IMABDL admin when I was back on there I would say so here and I did. Link to comment
Angela Bauer
Yes, I tell it like it is. I also try to be fair. Of course I deliberately quoted Square Duck and placed my material at the top, because most of you already read his post. If not just scroll down. This has been the protocol on the Internet since it started and was the protocol on business TWX before that. So excuse me if some high school students suddenly decide to change things, because they are "confused" We all are here because of diapers, so chances are most of us are confused about something. Such a good lil girl! Link to comment

I thought I just made that up...course for the grass I meant cutting mine, don't really need a donkey, and I take Beano! I put the quote at both ends so that those who "think" they know more...can't complain. Notice I constantly use several periods to denote a pause, most would use a comma...but I'm a rebel!!! Angela Bauer
In fact three periods typed together is called Points of Ellipses and is the traditional way in standard English denote a long pause. You will always be a rebel in the best tradition! Sure on our normal keyboard we do have the hyphen (-) next to the zero, but what I love is the em dash (—) which is another way to denote a long pause. The en dash (–) denotes a medium pause. CBD
When I joined, if found that the forum was empty (apparently wiped clean by some kind of change to new boards) and that the Bambino discount code was gone. I tried posting on the forums about it, I tried emailing the admins, and I even tried asking their Bambino representative on Diapoo. No luck on any of these fronts. Does anyone know what is up with all of this? Link to comment
spoonchicken
Those pesky 'puters. We can't live with them and we can't live without them. I'm old enough to remember living in a world without computers. Also a world without....cable TV, cel phones, hip-hop music, Metallica, unleaded gasoline, etc etc etc. As a kid, our telephone had a rotary dial on it. ANswering machine? That was a human being & a notepad, taking a message. During the holiday season, if you missed s seasonal broadcast ("A Charlie Brown Christmas"), you didn't see it again for a year. Football? Two games on TV every Sunday, and that was it ! Link to comment
CBD
And now Diapoo doesn't recognize me anymore and I can't get on. Great. Link to comment
