Abdl Demographics?

I've always wondered what the findings would be if a world-wide study was done of ABDLs. It seems like more ABDLs are men than woman by a large margin but it's hard to tell where the largest proportion of ABDLs could be found. I'd imagine ABDLs are largely a developed world phenomena for practical reasons so I wouldn't expect to find many in Africa, South America, or undeveloped parts of Asia. I wouldn't be surprised to find a large number of ABDLs in eastern Asia though (specifically Japan/China); there seems to be much less culture stigmatism to diapers over there. From what I've seen people around there are more than ready to throw on a diaper for convenience and most asians I've talked to have talked about diapers in a fun or cute way at one time or another and never explicitely negatively. There's obviously a large number of us in Canada/US but it is so stigmatized here that I wouldn't be surprised to find a much larger number throughout Western Europe. I wouldn't expect to find many in Eastern Europe/Russia given the region's recent history and any in the Middle East are few and far between and probably feel intense pressure over it. I wouldn't be surprised if the proportions are not to different from proportions of other more visual dress-up activities like the gothic trend throughout the world.

What does everyone else thing? I just took a guess so prove me wrong.

I've met goths from Malaysia of all places. Over there they don't go all out though, usually just paint their nails black, dye their hair deep black, wear black t-shirts/skirts/shorts, and put white power over their skin. Also it's not as socially accepted around there so they change in and out of it for serious occasions. But you'd be surprised by the climates you can find goths living in. Also I bet it would be just as uncomfortable wearing a bulky diaper in those climates (you'd sweat like mad). I don't dress up like a goth but I have gothic leanings. Some people have natural leanings for darkness or perhaps even genetic conditions that lead to the lifestyle. For example my eyes are quite sensitive to bright light, I long for cloudy days and prefer to go out at night and tend to prefer dark artwork. I've had many instances of depression for most of my life so tend to relate to most of my gothic friends. The individual stuff is BS though I believe most goths start living the lifestyle for community acceptance not individuality. Then you have the happy-go-lucky people who dress up like goths just for the fun of it but dance around to britney spears and love disney movies but I wouldn't really consider them gothic.

I think the our fellow AB/DL's are spread throughout the world, but I think it comes down to the individual's culture.

Here in the west we have a pretty open relationship with sex, we learn about it at school, look at porn as teenagers and talk to our friends about it. But in other cultures talk about sex is often more taboo, something you keep to yourself or share with your partner only. If for instance you were an AB in the Middle East or Africa you would very much keep it a secret and probably never even consider buying adult diapers. Because of this we only really see AB/DL's from western countries. Of these the US has by far the largest population, so it seems that most are in America. But I would say that an equal percentage are in Britain, Canada and Germany, but we simply have smaller populations. Equally, there is probably an equal percentage in Australia and New Zealand, but they have smaller populations still.

Another thing to take into account is communication. Most of us here in the west have a high standard of living, and a computer in our house. This is not the case in places like India, China, Africa or the Arab World. Often they don't even have electricity in their village. For instance, I've been in North African houses where the only power supply is from old car batteries. Even in cities most people seem to use Internet cafes (rather than having a personal computer) so they would never think about looking at fetish sites. This is probably why we never hear from them on here......but they must be out there.

Here in the west we have pretty open minds about sex?? When I lived in Germany, and when I was in the Netherlands and England I found that they were far more open to sex, and it's many kinks than we here in the U.S. are.

Really I think that we spend way too much time glorifying violence and not enough towards having a loving and open relationship.

Well of course, except for Hollywood who like to combine sex and violence, and the many, many rap stars who like to glorify sex and violence as well.

This country needs to really think about what is right and what is wrong. We let our children watch all of this violence on TV and in the movies until they are desentithized to it. Recently a boy killed his Mom and shot his Dad in the head because they wouldn't let him play his "Halo three" video game.

There are more of us in the developed countries because we have the luxury of being who we want to be. Imagine that you are an AB in Iraq, where everything has been blown out from underneath you, you wouldn't be thinking very hard about being an AB, so much as trying to stay alive for one more day.

In the developed countries we are able to communicate with each other, but in many third world countries they simply don't have that luxury.

Peace,

Vic -_-

I love the Dutch, the most unintentionally rude people in the world. You'd make great Americans, in fat your people did(well being part dutch myself, can say us people). I;ve never been asked if I was a virgin in the u.s. on a public transait bus, in Holland it took five minutes. Gotta love stoners. I love the Netherlands.

It is interesting that you can have a movie that guns, violent crime, and deaths of innocent people get a PG-13 rating, but any non-standard sex will get you a NC-17. Apparently we want to tell our teens that is all right to kill innocent people, but sex should only be performed in the missionary position (and then only in limited instances).

Personally from everything that I've seen, the ABDL fetish as an organized fetish is primarily male, and primarily in "first world" countries. Few if anyone seems to be of the ABDL orientation here in Korea, as I have not seen anyone else here on the sites or other fetish sites anywhere even close to me. Even in Japan, though it may be more common to wear diapers for convenience sake, it doesn't seem to be fetishized. For example, I have never seen any Japanese porn related to diapers of any variety whether real life or anime. And given the wide variety of porn that is available from Japan, I find that highly surprising (given that they are clearly one kinky country). I think the ABDL phenomenon in America and Europe has to do with the attitude of our cultures toward diapers. They are "only for babies" and not a tool to be used in situations where bathrooms are not readily accessible. The thrill of the verboten only makes the diapers more attractive and more sexy.

That's not a good comparison Vic, you've just picked what are probably the three kinkiest countries in Europe lol. Seriously though, I've always found you guys pretty open minded about things sexual.......your sex industry is big enough.

This is why I'd rather put my hard earned bullet in a faggot priest than the poor guy who robs me at my job.......
