    This is something I've been wondering as well. I guarantee the French would absolutely be setting shit on fire the streets if their government was just leaving their citizens to a fate worse then death.... Ditto for most of Latin America, Ireland and Africa... The Nordics would probably go bunker mode and institute travel bans.

    It kind of just hit me that they aren't allowed more than a couple minutes alone at any given time. So I likely would not have been able to avoid the movie. I think my best bet would have been some kind of visual filter contacts or goggles or failing that at least some polarized sunglasses. Definitely got some noise cancelling earbuds in. Also I just realized... If those holographic projectors have force field structure and simulated mass.... Being able to simulate solid objects.... I could do some very interesting things with them and a nanite canister potentially if I mounted them in say a sleeve glove...

    That's basically what I'm counting on for that plan to work. Them needing to maintain pretenses. Yep! I figure it's almost a cold war of sorts of soft pressure tactics, maneuvering and horse trading to force other dimensions into a position as clients states. Of course if the Amazons push too far they likely blow the game... Only so many people you can disappear before you get riots...

    It would be curious to see where I wind up actually.... I was raised Christian but rejected that shit hard. I'm an atheist leaning agnostic with pagan tendencies but don't really like capital "B", "Believe" in any thing in particular. I basically have an attitude that it's a coin toss what happens after. So would it just be lottery for me? Or would my GF being a witch and claiming personal insight that she shared effect things? Yep! Very Gaiman and Pratchett inspired. I could definitely see the influence.

    Ohhhhhh fuck... And this is why for all her fault I can actually sympathize with Astra unlike the last antagonist... Despite all her material success this woman is broken.... Honestly this feels like a side of NPD that nobody talks about because of how stigmatized it is. The need to be savior The fact she so devalues herself that she needs this larger than life persona.... It doesn't excuse the emotional abuse and controlling behavior but holy shit does it make it painful to watch her self destruct and destroy what could have been a beautiful polycue with Sarita and Pauline...
