I used to wear just a disp. diaper but if you wet a little too much they would leak. So I bought a couple of pairs of plastic pants to catch the leaks. Now I can wet until the diaper is totally used and get the most for my money.

Very happy for you Little Belle! Being comfortable in who you are makes life a lot easier. So if it's diapers you need then by all means wear and enjoy them.

I had that same problem with Bambino's years ago. It's not something you want to deal with but it happens. I just used good old duct tape on mine and the problem was solved.

This is the time of year I start wearing my onesie to bed. Has to be pretty cool in the house to do that.

Old and dangly bits here. I've found that my computer chair and or my recliner are the easiest way to release. Apparently if I just suck in my stomach it will help put pressure on my bladder which helps me let go. If I'm driving a car there is no way I'm wetting unless I raise myself up. When I do wear to bed I have an easier time wetting on my sides than I do on my back although I don't know why. I know disposables aren't supposed to be reliable for side sleepers but I'm not a heavy wetter and they work just fine. On nights when i do drink more before bed I put in a good booster just in case and I also wear plastic pants. I'm sorry I just don't have the answer for you on wetting in bed more easily.

Uh, by now I would say nothing. We've been married over 49 years so she's seen me at my best and my worst. Of course the worst would be diapers which she has begrudgingly become a lot more comfortable with. Our last conversation about them has been our best. She diapers me now as soon as she hears me getting one ready so there is no being self-conscious on my part. I just lay back on the diaper and wait for her to come in and tape it up. Many years ago when she first diapered me there was some embarrassment but it didn't last long. I guess I'm just one of those people that things like this doesn't bother. Right now life is good.

I used to use powder and lotion but have since cut back to just lotion. Taking the 4 prescription meds I'm on gives me a better chance for a rash to happen. During my 24/7 time there is a decent chance I may get a rash if I don't use something. Even if I'm just going to diaper for a night I use lotion also. One of those big J&J baby lotions lasts me around 3 to 4 months so the cost is minimal. Plus it smells good and it could keep the dreaded rash away.

In my case when I was the OP's age I was the same way. Diapers were the farthest thing from my mind. Once my daughters got in their teens the feeling came back as strong as ever. I kept it very discreet during those times but once they were gone I wore even more than before. As far as being a grandparent @Mindylouthere is absolutely nothing wrong with you wearing diapers. I became a grandfather at 50 and it didn't change a thing. Of course my wife thought I should just stop then but that wasn't an option. Now she diapers me per our agreement and I'm limited to how many days i can go 24/7.

I currently am wearing an XP5000 with no booster. They don't hold as much as a BetterDry but I LOVE the 'hook and loop' tapes. The next time I order diapers I'll probably go back to the BetterDry. They fit slightly better and the tapes are almost as good and slightly cheaper.

@oznl I believe you nailed it Dr. Freud! Sorry, oznl. That says it all. We all have our triggers.

I'll just confirm what everyone else has posted here and that is to wear something over the diaper that isn't tight. Also, you ladies do have an edge on us guys. You can wear a dress or skirt over your diaper. As long as it's not too short you can hide a diaper easily. I understand you being nervous though as most of us were wearing out in public for the first time. One of my tricks is to wear a long shirt so it covers my backside. I've bought a few from a big and tall men's section at a dep't store.

I'm mostly dl but do like some baby type things so breastfeeding would be wonderful. Funny thing is when the wife was pregnant I never had the urge to actually suckle and wasn't as heavily into diapers back then. I'm not even sure she would have wanted me to because she isn't happy that I like my diapers. Of course if I'd known then what i do now I sure would have asked her.

My diapers are stored away in a dresser drawer and my closet. However, I always leave the pair of plastic pants I'm not using hanging on the closet handle. Other clues would be the baby lotion sitting on my dresser and a diaper laid out for my next change. I only put things away when I know we're having company and it helps that my room is at the end of the hallway.

I had it done just before I turned 30. It was a very very uncomfortable thing to have done to a penis at that age. Of course my wife thinks she knows more than the doctor and told me I should just lay around with it in the open. I relented and it was not smart. After a day of that I covered it back up again so it could heal. In total I was laid up about a week but was able to go back to work. I don't know what a baby feels when they do it to them but it can't be good. Back then I wasn't wearing diapers that often so i can't really say how long you should stay out of them. Guessing, I'd say at least 2 weeks if not 3. Good luck.

I wear them basically anywhere I want to. Exceptions include my doctor or around family. I even wear around family if they stop over unannounced. I'm always dressed appropriately at home to make sure I'm covered. Most of the time I'm in the basement so I have time to adjust anything that may show a bulge. I won't force my fetish on anyone and even when I'm out and about I try and wear a long enough shirt to cover my backside.

My VISA was recently used for a bed and breakfast stay plus a couple of other charges. Total of over $650. Luckily VISA will cover the charges but it's happened 3 or 4 times in the last 20 years. I also have my card on Apple Pay so I think I'll leave the discontinued card on there. We went on vacation in July so maybe one of the paces we stopped at copied my card. Luckily they didn't get to my bank account. Super sorry it happened to you @blitz1027.

@dlsafricaI was too subtle and you didn't get my sarcasm. ?

Not big on Gin or Vodka in the hard liquor category. Also, can't stand those low carb beers. Everything else is on the table, literally!

OH NO! They finally got to Trump and brainwashed him. He's telling us to get the shot now!

Long binges I'm sure would help you toward being functionally incontinent. Like most have said it's a muscle motor memory skill. Keep doing it the right way and it will make it difficult to come back, maybe. The longest I've ever went was about 10 days so I can't relate to a long binge. Also I have a shy bladder and it's hard for me to even start a stream sometimes. There are times however after I've worn for several days and go back to regular underwear that whenever my bladder gets slightly full I need to head to the bathroom. Not much comes out so I'm guessing that it's related to my diaper wearing. I'm thinking it's urge incontinence but it doesn't last long.

I normally use BetterDry which is a good diaper and recently had the chance to use an XP5000. It was the best fitting diaper I've ever had and because of how much it holds I may be able to give up boosters. They have the hook and loop (aka Velcro} tabs that worked great. I'd heard some bad things about them but my next case will be XP5000's. They are about $1.64 per diaper at LL Medico.

I'm mostly DL with a little AB sprinkled in and only wet my diapers. For many years I also used them for messing but I got tired of the cleanup. Although I did love the feeling. The only time I mess them now is on accident.

When diapers creep into your vanilla facebook

The main reason I'm not on Facebook. I'm afraid I'd click on something adult diaper related without thinking and an ad would show up. My whole family is on there so the odds are good someone would see it before I got rid of it. I'm on Twitter and Insta and am very careful what I search for. Of course I'm not that familiar with Facebook so maybe I might be OK.
