    Tena Slip

I am trying the Tena Slip Maxi right now for the first time. I have the version with the breathable sides, and I'm wearing a size medium. I have a 34" waist, so the bottom adhesive tapes don't reach all the way to the plastic shell, rather I had to place them on the breathable side panels. I'm sure that they will start to loosen around the legs because of that, but I'll have to see! Different diapers fit differently due to the cut, padding, and tape placement. I also feel that the NorthShore Supreme fit best for me, they only ever leak if I know that I'm pushing the boundary. ABU's diapers always leak around the leg way before their limit whether I'm standing, sitting, or laying down. They just don't fit me. I've heard others say that their bottom tapes are rather high, and it could be that I have the same issue as them.
  2. Late to the party, but I'd like to share [emoji16] I am a 33" waist, but I just bought Crinklz and Betterdry in size large! They are so huge on me, the back comes halfway up my back, and the front to my bellybutton, and they have such tall leak guards that I use two boosters, even three [emoji3] when that monster is fully soaked, I can't even bend my knees when i walk it's so huge! I can only do this at night for obvious reasons, and the sad part is having to take it off [emoji853] I don't have a scale but I'm so curious how much it actually weighs afterwards. Also, I feel like we drink so much water that we are at low risk for ever getting kidney stones [emoji13] Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Pulling from the history books here... Is there a reason why the front waistbands weren't added?
  4. I've never heard of those! Where did you see them? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. I didn't even realize 2 sentences in a row started with "so". That's really bad on my part [emoji28] I do wear 24/7, but regardless I thought it would be a good idea. You say to stick with store brands, and I've seen other people recommend a lower-tier medical diaper. What i dislike about the Tena Super is the build quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe I'll try the Abena M2's. What do you guys thing about the Tranquility brand? Thank you all for the feedback! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. So something I've been thinking about is how sometimes I like having a less absorbent diaper on hand. Like for when I get home later than expected and I know I want to shower in ~2 hours. So I obviously don't want to go change into a full capacity one, because I'll have to take it off to shower. Do you guys also do this? I use the Tena Super, but I'm also looking for a different mid-range diaper. If you do this too, what brand do you recommend? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Any links of were to buy SAP in the US? IMO, I usually use the always overnight with slits cut in the back, or a NorthShore booster. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. How wide are they? I see that they are 16in long, but do they fit between most leak guards? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. So last night I strapped myself into a large betterdry with two NorthShore medium boosters. Let's just say it held up to 4 liters of water that I drank, and.. just before bed I popped in a dose of dulcolax [emoji16] which made for a wonderful soggy and squishy morning! I know there's other threads but any tips to reduce the odor? It's my first time and it's the only thing I that I don't particularly like. [emoji28] Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. I wear as much as I can, but it is generally for comfort's sake. That means that sometimes a public situation would not be comfortable whilst padded. Other times it may not matter, so I would be fine in public! I was lucky enough to have a job where wearing was easy, as an arts center assistant manager. It was mostly sitting behind a desk all day. Except for meetings, it was fine, without even breaking a sweat.
  11. That is true, I was a cloth backed baby. But I still prefer plastic, they are just more functional. Odor control, strength, leak prevention all are so much better.
