  1. yeah, i'm quite satisfied with these. they are slightly thinner than the x-plus but i've never really noticed a difference in absorbency. they're quite comfortable, crinkly, and their tapes work all the time. purchasing these was well worth the money.
  2. thanks for the recommendations. i went ahead and ordered them. it never hurts to save a few bucks on a case!
  3. i ordered a sample pack of 8 just to see what i was getting into before i bought a case. it came in an unmarked box wrapped around an unmarked white plastic bag which contained the diapers. question for anybody who's gotten a hold of a crazy diaper. are they the same level of absorbancy as the classic? i just want to know what i'm getting into before i drop the $ on them.
  4. I've been racking my brain lately over a Looney Tune or Merrie Melodie that I saw when I was a kid. The story was that there was a baby craze because something happened that made a baby famous. But then everybody in society then wanted to dress like a baby. The visuals were pretty exciting. I didn't imagine this... it really existed. Has anybody ever seen it? Can you direct me to it?
  5. i just received a sample pack of these from the girlfriend for christmas. they're really nice. they look so nice and babyish. they fit snugly and they absorb well. the thing that i really like about them is how soft they are on the outside and the inside. i'm really happy about the sample pack... got to try 'em out before i buy. i can't wait to buy a case when i run out of my gift!
  6. I want to be a Bambino Diapers Baby because I've always wanted to be a child spokesperson, even a baby model!
  7. by the case: Abena X-plus from XPMedical: $1.35 (42/cs, sz Med, $56.95) Bambino from their store: $1.56 (48/cs, sz Med, $74.95) both free shipping. I'd pay $.20 per diaper to enjoy the details that make the Bambino more babyish. It's only a matter of time before I order. Just my $.20.
  8. I own this movie, and it's great. Spader is on another level of creepy in this movie.
  9. you can use powder that is made up of constarch. i do, and it isn't any more expensive. in fact, it's right next to the talcum powder shaker in the pharmacy. there's no discernable difference between the two in terms of feel and smell, but i'd take the one that hasn't been suspected of leading to cancer over the one that has.
  10. I'm happy to say that these were still around after pay day. I picked up a case at the discounted price. Awesome.
  11. "I have ordered from them in the past, the service was great, might have taken longer than some of us impatient babies would like" I've never had a problem ordering from LLMedico. I'm pretty sure that when the above happens its because they don't have what you want in stock. I've asked them to make custom orders before and I knew it was going to take weeks to fill (it says so on their website) just based on what I had asked for. This has happened when I have ordered from plastic-pants.com too. It's just that if you ask for something they don't have, it takes 4 weeks for them to fill the order from Gary, the manufacturer. Feel free to contact them before you order so that if they don't have what you want you know what to expect.
  12. I created my avatar shortly after I signed up. I love my rhumbas and I figured the only way to show how much I enjoyed having a puffy butt was to put on a diaper and wear my fullest, most ruffled plastic panties.
  13. Only two people know about my love for diapers: my mom and my partner. When my mom found my diapers near the end of the summer following my senior year in high school, I explained to her that these were something that I just enjoy wearing and that was it. She wanted me to go to the doctor's to have them check me out. I went, and cooperated with the doctor but of course there wasn't anything wrong with me so the matter was dropped. I did end up wearing around the house a bit afterward, because I felt more free to do so after having cleared the air. I never pushed the matter further after having gone away for college that year. Clearly that was for the best. When I told my partner, I told her about my adult baby side. I had the conversation over a year and a half into the relationship, in the throes of a particularly stressful finals week. I helped her to understand that it was a way to help me relax, and she was both curious about the fetish and furious with me that I had held from her something as important to me for as long as I had. She is very supportive of me but certainly likes for me to respect her boundaries about my play. The adult baby/ diaper lover roles are really not her thing but she is willing to share in but she does participate in ageplay, which we've sort of "met in the middle" on. We have "play dates" where we both act youthful and play with toys, draw with crayons, etc. My age is of course much younger than hers when we play, but that's part of the fun. We've recently entered into a living situtation where we no longer have any roommates so I'm quite happy about the freedom this affords me. Of course, I still need to balance my partner's desires with mine even with this increased freedom around the house.
  14. Do the Comco pants really run full enough to buy a size down? if I ended up w/ a pair of smalls (where I would have ordered a medium) would I run into probems w/ the leg holes? Does the elastic give in the leg holes?
  15. When I think about the diaper genie all I imagine is that it's adding the next challenge to landfills: not only do our disposables (which I wear for fun and aren't entirely necessary) have to biodegrade but than the plastic wrap that encases them and protects us from the smell has to break down before the forces of nature even get to my *unnecessary* waste. So for me to think this is worth it (even the bigger-sized one) I'd have to be convinced that the plastic wrap actually breaks up, or that it really keeps the smell down so much that I don't notice. I guess I don't want a second layer of guilt wrapping this garbage I'm making.
  16. All good stories. I have one that's similar sounding. I wanted to wear as early as 5 or 6. I was reminded of this when looking at old photos over the weekend. I noticed my younger brother's box of Pampers that sat next to my dresser in a photo and it reminded me of when I asked my parents to put me into diapers just for nights, to keep the sheets dry (or so they thought). They of course said 'no' and proceeded to call me 'baby' for long enough that it stuck that I wanted to wear. I eventually made diapers out of towels and went through a brief obsession with the fact that some women wore maxi pads, which were absorbant. I even made a really big pad out of kleeex and toilet paper and wet it once. I took diapers from my babysitting jobs and my boss' stash for his kids at my first job. I bought my first pack sometime when I was 17. Attends w/ waistband, and I've had a pack around or not been without except when it was really difficult during freshman through junior years of undergrad. Since then there's been no looking back.
  17. I'm posting to say that I'm new here, although I've been lurking since mid-May. This seems like a very good community compared to other boards I've watched (some for even a decade). I'm 26 and I've been into diapers and acting like a baby for as long as I can remember, and I'm just finally coming around to communicating to others about it. I look forward to learning about others and being a part of this board.
  18. I have two pair from plastic-pants.com and I'm satisfied with them. You can match the terry up to transparent and translucent colored vinyls to give them a "background." They're very absorptive for when my diapers leak and they've kept more than one Abena around my waist overnight until I could change. They're well worth the money.
