  1. Dr. P diapers are great ... they are really my favorite. There are several varieties of Dr. P on the market that I've seen. Their "Basic Type" are thin and cheap, probably not what you want. I really like the kind labeled "For Day Use .. for Heavy Incontinence". They are plastic backed, very absorbant, but thin enough to wear around stealthily. I haven't tried the Dr. P overnight variety, but I'm sure they are good too. I've seen Dr. P in supermarket stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan ... I'm sure you can get them in Japan too.
  2. I just relocated to Singapore for work and I will probably be here for about a year. I don't know too many people here, except for coworkers, so it would be cool to have some DL friends ... send me a message if you'd like to meet up. Can anyone recommend a brand of diapers to buy here? I brought some from home, so I haven't needed to purchase any more yet. I've seen Tena, Dr. P, and Guardian (store brand) in some of the stores. I'm really curious about Dr. P ... are they any good?
  3. I wore a diaper (Molicare ... with a booster pad) out on Halloween under my costume. I wasn't dressed as anything baby related -- and the diaper wasn't visible. Only my wife and I knew that I was wearing. We went out to a costume party at a crowded bar with a few friends. I wore the diaper for its practical purpose -- I was drinking a lot all night, the restroom lines were long, and I didn't want to worry about it. It worked great, I got sufficiently drunk and never had to wait for the restroom.
  4. I love driving and traveling with diapers, too. Actually the first time I introduced my diapers to my gf was on a road trip. She was pretty open to the idea then, because it made sense to her. We actually stopped at a wal-mart along the way and bought some goodnites in her size for her to try. She wore them for much of the rest of the trip -- though she didn't want to pee in them. Since then I wear diapers when I feel like it around her (not too often, maybe a couple times a week or less), and she doesn't mind. She will rarely wear a diaper for me -- but she doesn't get the same turn-on from them as I do. We're married now, and my diapers are accepted by her. And we'll probably continue to be diapered together on road trips and long flights.
  5. YES! Wow, you're the first person that ever got that.
  6. I've changed a couple times on the plane, I don't really see what the big deal is about the small bathrooms. Sure, they're small, but what do you need so much space for? Do you really have to lay down or sprawl out to diaper yourself? Unless your more than 200 lbs or kinda round, I don't see the problem. I usually change standing up, whether in a airplane bathroom or anywhere else ... just pull down your pants, put the diaper between your legs, and hold it in place with your thighs while doing the tapes. Wearing diapers on a plane is the best. Try it!
  7. I've taken flights and road trips diapered many times. On planes, I like getting the window seat so I can lean my head against the wall and try to sleep ... for this (especially on longer flights) a diaper is great, because you don't have to bother the people in your row to get up and go to the bathroom. I try to pace myself and not soak the diaper, so that it has a chance of leaking ... so far I've been successful. Nobody has ever said anything. Usually I'll pack a diaper or two in my computer bag and put it on in the airport restroom before I get on the plane. On car trips, I drink a lot of caffeine to stay alert, so diapers are very convenient. I've changed in public rest stops, fast-food restaurant restrooms, or will just pull over on the side of the highway, lean my seat back, and change in the car (only at night). Never been caught or had anyone notice anything. It's great!
  8. I've bought adult diapers many times from drug stores and supermarkets. Nobody has ever said anything or gave me a dirty look. Its all in your head.
  9. Kimberly-Clark is giving away free samples of their new sleep pants. Personally, I'm not really interested (I prefer real diapers), but I'm sure some of you will be: http://www.goodnites.com/na/specialoffers/...le/Default.aspx Let us know when you receive them!
  10. I see these announcements every month and usually for a half a second I think about going since I live SO close ... but this whole idea of "littles" and ABs kinda creeps me out. I'm a pure DL ... the AB stuff doesn't do anything for me except for turn me off. Other than the fact that I like to wear and wet diapers occasionally, I'm a pretty normal heterosexual guy, with a real girlfriend (she doesn't know about my DL side ... yet), and lots of other non-fetish related interests. I just don't think I would have anything in common with this group except for my underwear. Shame ... since I'm so close by. Does anybody else feel this way? If anybody wants to organize an Atlanta diaper night out at a bar or pub, without the emphasis on infantalism, I'm so there.
  11. Hey guys, thanks for all of your responses. Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I really think it has anything to do with the diapers. I guess it really is just a random thing, who knows. In case you're interested, I'm on day 3 of antibiotics and it's about 75% better now. -Shady
  12. Ok, this is kinda strange and sorta freaked me out a little bit. Just over a week ago I noticed a small, slightly painful bump on the back of my thigh, just under the crease where my butt. It looked and felt a lot like a mosquito bite or pimple, so I didn't think much of it. Well, fast forward about a week and this thing is getting a little bit swollen, red, and much more tender. I realized that it didn't itch, so it must not be a bug bite. But it was pretty painful when ever I put pressure on it -- which of course would happen when sitting. By monday it was getting pretty hard to sit, and I had this swollen red bump about the diameter of a quarter under my ass. Fantastic. Since it wasn't getting better, I thought it would be time to do something. My dad is a physician so I called him and described the bump on my ass. He immediately suspected a skin bacterial infection that won't get better by itself and recommended that I make an appointment with my doctor the next day. What really freaked me out was when my dad told me the "worst case scenario" would be a bacterial infection called MRSA (it's an abbreviation for some big medical sounding words that basically mean bacteria that is resistant to normal antibiotics -- sometimes known as "flesh-eating bacteria" -- yikes!). Anyway, I went to the doc. My doc agreed that it was some sort of bacterial infection but didn't have a high suspicion for MRSA. I got a prescription for some standard antibiotics (Amoxicillin). Within a few hours of taking the first dose it started getting better. Phew! Ok, now to the diapers part. Do you think they could have caused this? Of course I didn't tell my doctor or my dad that I like to wear diapers occasionally (usually only a few per week). I just don't understand how a healthy 26 year old guy like me who exercises regularly, eats well, and generally rarely gets sick could develop this seemingly random bacterial infection on my ass. I guess, according to the doc, it could happen randomly if bacteria got under the skin somehow. I never poop in my diapers -- I guess sometimes I'll wear a wet one for a couple hours, but that's it. Now I'm kinda afraid to put on another diaper. Does anyone thing that this is related to the diapers? Or am I just paranoid?
  13. Secure Personal Care (http://www.securepersonalcare.com) takes paypal and shipping is discreet. I really like the Secure X-Plus, but they only come with 12 to a bag. I think one bag with shipping is about $22.
  14. Shady Lane is the name of a great song from Pavement, one of my favorite indie rock bands. The band has since broken up, ah well.
  15. Isn't her bf's name Jeff?
  16. Jennifer, wow, that is terrible. What an ass that guy is. I've been reading some of your posts for a while and I feel like I know you well enough to know that you're a strong woman, and you and Jeff will get through it. Best wishes. We're all here for you. Shady
  17. I'm a (totally secular, not at all religous) Jewish DL!
  18. Dude, stop being a pussy and just talk to him about it.
  19. This is the best post I've read on here in a while! Restlessfox, I'm glad you caught him. Thats awesome. I say you just confront him about it, but not in a hostile way. I would look at it as a new DL friend that you can hang out with. If you just got it out in the open, that would be the best. I think a note is a stupid idea because then you give up the opportunity of a two-way conversation with your friend, which I feel like is always necessary to fully understand each other. I would also bet that this dude's girlfriend must know about the diapers, too. I mean, she must go home with the guy, right? How could she not notice that he's bringing diapers home every time they come over to your place. Maybe he's stealing them to put on her! At best you'll have two new DL friends. At worst you'll be a little embarrassed for a few minutes when you talk to him about it. let us know what happens! ~ shady
  20. Hey, I'm in Richmond (temporarily -- for some contract work, probably till the end of the year), too. PM me if you ever get anything together -- I haven't met too many other DL's in person but it would be interesting. I am straight and I have a gf (she knows, but doesn't participate), I don't really know many people outside of work in Richmond since I don't really live here so it would be cool to have something to do. - shadylane
