  1. You been here three hour! You go NOW! Sign say "all you can eat"- not "can you eat all"!!!
  2. Oh and thanks for sharing what you have found. It is very nice thing to share info for those interested.
  3. Why is it I find the coolest stuff from Japan- after I move back from living there, twice! Oh well, there's always next time.
  4. XP Medical does rock.... but they don't carry what I want to order at this time. I don't want to flame the company that has poor customer service, but it's one of two companies that make diapers specifically for our community. if it were just an incontinence shop My money would do the talking elsewhere. But I guess that's the price to pay for brand loyalty- You expect them to be as good as their product, and that just isn't the case. Currently I am searching to see if anyone other than the parent company carries the diapers I want but I am not having any luck.
  5. Wish I could use other than military mail, but when your overseas you don't have a choice. Otherwise it's international shipping.
  6. Like most people on this site I really, REALLY, enjoy privacy when ordering my ABDL supplies. So when I order something (diapers) I offer to pay extra for extra packaging I get a reply that it cannot be done, and that the box will be shipped discreetly. When I go to pick up the box it is partially collapsed and the two pieces of tape holding the (flimsy) box together finally let go as soon as I get in the car. I'm not kidding, as soon as my hand comes off of it the tape let go. two pieces on a flimsy box. Did I mention I am in the military and all my mail goes through my unit mail clerk? So I write a very nice and non-confrontational letter to the business explaining that this situation is exactly why I'm more than willing to pay extra for extra packaging (double boxed) to ensure discreet shipment and I get a reply of "we're sorry your box arrived damaged" and "we will use more tape next time". So, questions: 1. Am I the customer asking too much? 2. Never use them again, or actually trust that they care about me as a customer and that extra tape might actually make it on the box and that it will be enough to ensure my privacy?? What say you?
  7. I was talking about the plastic backing. The inside is still soft and wonderful. The backing on the year old bambino classico is silky soft and wonderful. The plastic on the new bambino classico is not as soft, and seems like it has a texture to it like so many institutional diapers I have tried before. I let one sit out and it did bulk up a bit, but the plastic backing still was not very soft against the skin. We will see what the future holds I guess, since we will have to wait until the next production run to find out if it is just a one time difference.
  8. I have noticed that the plastic backing has changed from a year ago. I just received my new bianco's and the plastic backing is not as soft, textured even. I compare this to the Bambino's I bought over a year ago( I have one left and is how I came across this difference), which are very very soft in comparison to today's. I think the plastic has a degree of texture to it because when i run my fingers over it I can hear the sound it makes. I have used some cheaper diapers before that cater to the institutional field and this plastic is more like that. I searched this thread and couldn't find anything about a design change, but I wonder if this is intentional, cost cutting, or a change that the manufacturer made but Bambino's does not know about. anyone else notice anything? I totally prefer the softer version from back in October 2009. I mean, I have never worn anything softer...
  9. Was at a drug store today and came across the the larger sized diapers for the 40+kg range. was almost tempted to get them but at 185 lbs and 5'11" I would just be getting a look and not the experience. I guess I will have to stick with Bambino then.....
  10. Motorcycle rides, Movies, Work (once), Mall, resteraunts, Shopping, Shrines, sleeping... The most enjoyable place to wear for me is a Massage table. Talk about the relaxation factor! I don't wear for the "ooooh I am going to make someone see me wear diapers" scenario, I am just relaxed the most while wearing diapers no matter the place/activity and wearing while getting a massage is the ultimate relaxation for me.
  11. Being in Japan I get to sample the local diaper selection. I can honestly say they have a different idea of how diapers are used. For instance , all of the diapers I have tried are rather thin- but wide in the crotch, and they prefer cloth like backings. I did find a plastic backed diaper but the sides are cloth like and glued on and uses velcro on the front to secure it.Mostly it seems they rely on "stuffers" or liners for maximum absorbency life. The liners are a little thicker and always have standup leak guards, and I have only found one that is cloth backed. I think the reason the diapers themselves are wider in the crotch for using the liners, but some of them are wider than the stand up leak guards on the diapers themselves. I use them because it is a little disconcerting to receive Bambino's at work, but I do prefer bambino's- more baby like. none of the diapers I have come across are babylike and the colors are institutional. they fit ok, something that I was a little surprised about considering my 6 foot 200 lbs build- In wear large bambino's and large Japanese diapers fit. Enough responses and I might post some pics. Dlbbyboy
  12. I hear a little too much complaining about the price for something that this group has been whining for since they discovered they were an AB. Is 90 dollars for a case a lot? Hell yes! Is it worth it? Before you answer that question no one seems to be asking this question first- How bad do you want ABU cushies to succeed and grow? I have no doubts that in this economy money is tight, and taking a gamble like ABUniverse by throwing down a ton of money on a product that could tank is a huge leap of faith for any niche company. Bambino's started off expensive and one design. Now look at them, they have expanded their line and lowered their prices because YOU BOUGHT THIER PRODUCT CONSISTENTLY! Once ABU Cushies sell out the first shipment subsequent shipments and upgrades will be cheaper for ABUniverse to purchase, and thus the saving will be passed on to you to keep your continued support and bussiness (if they want to be successful anyways). This is the way of the niche manufacturing/seller world, whether it be diapers or trinkets: the first small order will be alot, each subsequent order (or contract) becomes cheaper, order a large volume (in assumption that you can sell them all in a given period of time) and the price drops. Is it worth it? Yes- every penny! I know the more I buy I help cement ABuniverse's ability to place a follow on order, and another, and another. If no one else buys then you might want to hang on to what you did buy because there won't be another container coming in. It's also the reason why I will continue to support Bambino's too!
  13. tapes, and just the tapes, where tapes normally go. it would certainly make people who see it wonder what it was, if they didn't know what it meant.
  14. I'm in the Military and work on jets. When Someone at work screws up (loss of aircraft or life, or major costs to repair) to the point that they are in trouble and are going to be disciplined (wage garnishment/reduction in rank) they do a urinalysis. people pop positive so much that it is now a standard procedure prior to punishment. Stats don't lie- you use, and your personal performance is degraded. Why would you want to work around someone who uses knowing this? why would you want that person driving a car on the same road as you?? The killer part of these tests- the people who pop positive used days ago, not hours....
