for IC try to find your trigger.... it turned out for me it was artifcial sweeteners.... stopped drinking diet soda and 90% of the flare ups went away!... as for my other bladder issues no luck..... i wear diapers from multiple reasons urethral stricture disease ( recurring strictures from birth defect) neurogenic bladder (most likely caused from many bladder infection's triggered by the blockages caused by the above) as well as damage from a couple of surgeries to correct the above issue... and Interstitial Cystitis mostly managed from the above statement...

yes and no.. over the years i have learned that " I am who I am" and that wont change so I'd better be good with it... i fought it very much when i was younger. i certainly wont be marching in a "Diaper PRIDE" parade but i am not ashamed either... you will get that way someday to.

keep it private .... they dont need to know.. and it does not take rocket scientist's to find way's of hiding the diapers for storage and if you use some common sense you can even wear them around your parents with them ever knowing... but that is what you need to figure out!

Honesty is best ALWAYS!!!! when bringing up this topic remember relationships are a two way street make sure the entire conversation is not about you or you and diapers, make sure to include her possible kinks and work your lifestyle to compensate both , maybe ask about HER kinks ( or Secrets) first, if they are included and part of the story, dream, conversation they will be more open to talk about it.. but if you go into some tangent how diapers this and diapers that and exclude everything but the diaper they will assume ( probably correctly) that the DIAPER is your only and major driving force, to many people it is and it should be just a tool/toy to achieve what ever you get from it ( sexual gratification,mental stress relief etc etc...)

the CVS used to a have a decent plastic backed diaper at one point.... when they switched to "clothlike" they went to .....pooo also now many stores only carry the underwear now.... getting bad...

for me and trying many diapers i found that "cloth-like" are not really 100% water proof they also tend shed fibers so if they use velcro style fasteners they loosen up if they use sticky fasteners the tapes wont hold after a while, but that is only what I have experienced

Being incontinent means always being wet sometimes mere minuets after a diaper change and one time in the middle of a change.... being a DL means enjoying it (sometimes) , BUT after a few hours when the wet diaper comes off and the fresh air comes in than a soft dry diaper goes on is a very NIce sensation, like you said after a few hours its really nice to be dry again... if only for a little while

any diaper can leak depending on the circumstance but if your going to have a leak be great-full it was a Dry 24/7.... imagine what the leak might have been!

I also get a least 1 case a month and a few shippers and brands have Bold lettering but they didnt say "discreet shipping" when i ordered them.... xp medical ships VERY discreetly, as a few others, and either way nobody has every said anything dont worry to much and enjoy what is WORTH it and that is a Good usable diaper!

there are some things that just dont need to be shared, if people ask than be honest and they should accept you,

i have yet to find the perfect diaper...... the best (FOR ME) so far is the dry 24/7 but they are not thin.... i used to like providers choice ACTIVE PLUS diapers for that slimmer but good diaper but i can only find them on EBAY and i doubt they actually make them anymore as providers choice websites have not been changed since 2009 (ish) and the toll free number just rings.... so i am reluctant to continue spending money on those.... but they where near ideal that fit most needs, for .74 cents a brief....

I have a "FLOW" almost every 2 hrs and dribble a bit in between, i also don't just use the premium diapers i also keep cheaper diapers for times when i need protection for a few hours but plan on changing before going out to work etc so i dont use 4-6 premium diapers a day just 2 ....

I switched to dry 24/7 from abena after many many pinhole issues .. and have not had any issues with Dry 24/7 really like was said from Xp-medical these are made on machines and machines malfunction... gary at xp has always been very helpfull..

and Laser disk was un compressed so the quality was better... but flipping the disk over in the middle of the movie sucked....

I still need to use floppy disks so i carry them and a usb floppy drive.... at least its not an 8" drive.....

the only thing i wear over my diapers are onesie to prevent exposure at work this is a new thing for me since i was able to get black onesie's... but plastic pants make me sweat to much ...

i think every one goes thru the thoughts and gets confused a bit . its ok we are human you dont have to run out and make a choice that your stuck with.

It is amazing how some people just go over the top when they read a misspelled forum post, people are not stupid because they do not have the grammar prowess as others.... just like people who stutter are not stupid either... personally i would say that people that react so quickly on simple things like that have far more issues than someone that cant type,or misspell a few words.... i have noticed lately that the "Spell Checker" has given me some suggestions not even remotely close to the words i misspelled and i was only off by 1 letter.... if you read a misspelled word just get over it and move on there are more important things to get upset about
