  1. Yes, he will be sorely missed! A couple of days ago I watched this norwegian show where three guys travel around and interviews famous actors of the 80s and 90s, and in the episode I watched they had a chat with Mr. Nielsen. As it turned out, this was to be his last interview. He died the next day. Sad stuff, comedians of that caliber is rare. R.I.P.
  2. Yet another reviving of the corpse. Anyway, was looking forward to hearing the new Autopsy ep, and damn what a massive letdown that was!! To be fair, my expectations were quite high considering that this band is definitely one of my all time faves, but yeah, the songs were bland and dull, not one single riff that really caught my attention. Well, I still live in the hope that the guys will redeem themselves on their up and coming full-lenght. Then again, the signs are ominous, and they may end up sounding like most of the bands who have the brilliant idea of a reunion; like utter shit. But here`s to hoping
  3. Well, giving out your mail-adr. so people well versed in the field of "public diaper-wearing" can have you over for tea, certainly points in the direction of a person dispensing with the time consuming chit-chat, and going straight to the point. Yes, it seems my country-man is an HNG. Better move on Torfinn, not the proper way of approaching people.
  4. Yep, I have a part time job caring for people with Alzheimers.
  5. Some outstanding horror-films: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( my number one of all times, the original has such a filthy, life-denying atmosphere that has not been achieved before or since, the remake was pure crap! ) , The Exorcist 3 ( don`t get me wrong the first one is good too, but part three has infinite more depth to it ), Event Horizon, Cannibal Holocaust, The Thing, the original Ring, Subconscious Cruelty, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Eraserhead, The Woman In Black( an old fashioned english and truly creepy film), Nekromantik 1 and 2, Der Todesking, Dread, Midnight Meat Train, Inside, Martyrs, Aftermath, Flower of Flesh and Blood, The Broken, Hellraiser 1 and 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Funny Games, Possession ( truly surreal stuff with Sam Neill, from 1980 methinks). Those comes to mind right about now.
  6. It would be unforgivingly arrogant and much, much too assuming of me to say that we either get to be a meal for worms and nothing more, or that our souls shall experience heavenly bliss or hellish damnation, that existence is circular, that death is an illusion, a mere passageway etc. I believe in possibilities, in the unsteady, unpredictable ground beneath my feet, in the no-answer. People need crutches, be it the belief in materialism or spirits, either way one has thereby made a choice of excluding the myriad of possibilities out there. Either way, it brings a sense of safety, comfort and direction that man, poor man, seems to need so much. What better way to create meaning than to adhere to a system! And the funny thing is that people treat their belief-systems as fact, christians cannot afford in the long run( of course there occurs the momentary chrisis of faith) to question the plateau they are standing on, where do the sheep turn to if it crumbles? To question is to fall. Ergo, they don`t even consider the possibility that their deity may be non-existent. How sad. Man, the eternal idolizer!
  7. Most definitely, the smell of female urine is one of the most delicious fragrances out there, in my humble opinion. I have been pissed upon by my ex, a lovely experience! A sweet, sweet stink that sets your mind adrift.
  8. Ha, ha, here I`m sitting and paying homage to the man, and I for some ludacris reason get the "World Coming Down" title wrong. Fucking no excuse for that. . I guess I was thinking of the Terrorizer album. Well, well.......
  9. Well, well, time to resurrect the corpse once again. On Watain; what an extremely overrated band this truly is!! They apparently see themselves as the saviours of black metal, saying that their new album will herald a new era of black metal. Ha, ha, ha, what a load of bullshit, reminds me of the pathetic clowns in Oasis saying that their band is the best of all bands. And when you hear their crappy music, it`s nothing other than a fifth-rate Beatles. Same with Watain; they like people to believe that their brand of black metal cannot be surpassed, that they manage to convey a darkness in their music that is unique, that will make the listener tremble. Arrogance can be justified if the statements actually coincides with the material, if not, well, that`s just false advertising. Funny that; often the bands who actually make truly dark music don`t go around blabbering about how they are the best and bla bla, they actually are more humble, and let the music speak for itself. But of course the world will be deceived, and that is why a shitty band like Watain manage to amass a horde of spitlicking sheep, ready to swalllow and digest every single shit-riff they are being fed, and thinking that it`s the darkest of gifts, ha, ha. Watain`s main musical inspiration is Dissection, and while Dissection was a brilliant band, and actually made dark music, Watain is a bunch of copy-cats trying so hard to emulate their idols. Fuck them!!
  10. My number one mommy-for-a-day, would definitely be Cynthia Ettinger: http://www.google.no/images?hl=no&q=cynthia+ettinger&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=GSs5TPykC8qlOL23qYoK&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCsQsAQwAA
  11. You actually create a post with this immensely insignificant topic?!! Talk about a non-issue! Are you writing this because of a much needed distraction from watching the paint dry, or? The mind boggles.
  12. The slipknot is a fine implement indeed, but the band? No,sorry. Pretend-metal.
  13. I would have to say my family, my music, and my dogs and cat. On the AB side of things, that would have to be the good old paci.
  14. Likewise brother, a fellow fan is a fine thing indeed! Yep, the world has lost a unique human being there. Quite unfair considering that in the month of april we could instead have read that "Britney Spears has committed suicide", "Christina Aguilera has been eaten by a pack of rabid wild dogs", and that "The Oasis-brothers accidentally fell into a big meat-grinder." He, he, a nice homage there, you should not have washed the shirt though "Bloody Kisses" is excellent stuff, but the definite Type O-album has to be "October Rust", it`s a fucking brilliant piece of melancholic art, no doubt about that! I think "World Downfall" is great stuff too, many don`t seem to like that one, but what the hell do they know, ha, ha.
  15. Aaaah, what a brilliant piece of news; the death-metal outfit of all times, Autopsy is resurrected, are working on a new single and album, and is going to play in my hometown in august( one of two scheduled european dates )!!! Could not be more damn excited! Viva Autopsy!!
  16. Some of my favourite horror-films: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre( the original), Beyond the Darkness, Nekromantik 1 and 2, Aftermath, Exorcist 1 and 3, The Woman In Black, Hellraiser 1-6, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, Untold Story, Subconscious Cruelty, Parents, The Curse, Omen 1-3, Evil Dead, The Broken, The Exorcism of Emily Rose Cannibal Holocaust, Possession, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive. The best horror-films will in my opinion always be the ones who consistently conveys a disharmonic and threatening atmosphere, true horror that doesn`t rely on cheap and sudden scare-tactics, and the tiring, teen-pandering happy ending. One should not go home after watching a horror-movie saying "That was scary, but hey, it all turned out well in the end." Rather; "that was scary, and they all died in the end." Or as in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, one survivor, but at this point she has turned insane, and will be haunted forever.
  17. A sad piece of news, Peter Steele is dead due to a heartattack. R.I.P!! And I`m thinking, why couldn`t the vocalist of some nu-metal shit band croached instead? Now, that truly would have helped the environment. Well, well, soon I hope.....
  18. At the moment I`m listening to Triptykon, the new incarnation of Celtic Frost mainman Tom G. Warrior, great stuff indeed! Cheers, metal-kind!
