Down for me. Like you I have had problems with leaks when it has been pointed up. I would agree with the second post. Wearing a diaper that fits you better would help, and probably be a lot more comfortable. As far as hard-ons when diapering\while diapered will never totally go away. I have been wearing for quite a long time and I still get hard.

I liked the huggies that looked like a pair of jeans--they had a pocket drawen on the back. It was really cute. As for the question itself I wish they would make colored adult diapers like red or blue etc.. I would definitely wear those. I understand why they don't---with white being more discreet but a nice royal blue or metallic blue would be really nice.

^ thats a good one. And it is an ending of an era. I agree that DD is much better than DPF ever was, but it was the first site that I ever found relating to the diaper fetish and was the first time I ever found out there were others who, like me, had an interest in and who wore diapers. Made me feel better about myself and didn't feel so alone. Tommy did me and many others a great service in that regard. And many thanks to DailyDi for running this site. This is a great place and I hope it is around for a long time to come.

I found this article written by Malcolm Gladwell back in 2001. It is old but I found it very interesting. It explains at least part of the reason that diapers have gotten thinner over the years. Agreed. I too live in Wisconsin and it didn't appear in any of the newspapers I read (It would have made the Milwaukee Journal sentinel and there was no such article) plus as mentioned names would not have been used. Also newspapers tend to not print expletives even in quotes.

I've had that happen to me before. I believe it was due to a manufacturing defect. I called in (they were depend) and they sent me some coupons for several dollars off my next purchase.

I haven't done either and don't think I will. Just don't really have an interest in it.

For me it depends on the living situation. For the majority of the year I wear age\gender appropriate underwear (Boxers). Occasionally I get to wear disposable diapers. I would prefer to be wearing diapers much more often.

Sex...whats that??? I can hardly remember it's been so long (we're talking Cal Ripken Jr. like streak of celibacy). Alas that what I get for being a very shy person. Oh well. Anyway I am straight and if I remember correctly it is Vanilla and I am a submissive person.

I've had an interest in diapers since around 4yrs. Might have been slightly older but not much.

cost might be one reason. Discreetness might be another. For exactly the reason you, and I, like plastic backed diapers-the crinkle-others don't want any noise. Also, not sure if it is just gimmick, but the cloth backed diapers are supposed to breath better and be healthier for the skin. I'm sure there are other reasons as well.

I've never been out to a bar in diapers (Don't frequent bars) But like someone else said bars are typically noisy. To solve the bending over problem tucking in a shirt would help or you could wear a long jacket or something (sport coat maybe?) I've worn diapers out and about many times and no one notices even in a quiet setting.
