  1. That sounds pretty cool... What has the clinic told you? Will it be like last time, a number of days post-op with a catheter, then a few more days there before you can go home? Imagine if this becomes a popular "Thing to do" in a few years.... A whole section of the hospital, full of "Post-op recovering Diaper-boys." 😁😁
  2. Yes, poor Daniel.... Imagine being forced to breastfeed from huge milky breasts while helplessly wetting your diapers! Oh, the Horror!! 😁😂😅😆
  3. Are you both going to have the operation on the same day? Are you planning on meeting?
  4. Another GREAT chapter.... This story just keeps getting better and better!!
  5. Is this your 3rd procedure? I thought you had mentioned a while back that you had a 2nd op after the first one left some strictures....
  6. Wow.... "Curve Balls" is right!! Deal with the important things in your life, this story can wait !!! Prayers for your family.
  7. Actually, I use this setup when traveling... I use cloth diapers and plastic pants for my bedwetting, but when I go on my typical 2 week vacation every year, it's not practical to take 2 weeks worth of cloth diapers with me. There's the laundry factor, diaper pail issue, hauling wet diapers around, etc.. What I do is wear a good disposable diaper, like a BetterDry, with a booster pad inside it. then over the disposable, I wear a prefold adult cloth diaper, and plastic pants. With this combo, IF the disposable diaper leaks, the cloth diaper and plastic pants catch it before the bed gets wet. I have only had the disposable leak into my cloth diaper once. This way, I only pack 3 cloth diapers, having a couple spares if needed. Of course, I have another suitcase full of disposable diapers!
  8. Wait... A good diaper will keep the bed dry? Huh.... 😁😄😆
  9. Damnit.... Just what I feared the most!!! FingerToes has mastered the art of leaving us on the edge of our seats!! 😁😂🤣😆😎
  10. Me too !!! I've been a bedwetter for several years now, but it's different from night to night... Some nights, I wet my diaper a little before I fall to sleep, and when I wake up in the morning, my diaper is MUCH wetter. Some nights, I am woken by the urge to pee, but when I check my diaper, I'm already wet from an earlier wetting when I was asleep. And the best nights are like last night... Didn't wet before going to sleep, never wakened to wet during the night, but woke up this morning in very wet cloth diapers and plastic panties!
  11. Yeah, the way to do that is order two cases of diapers, get the discount, then check out and finalize the order. THEN go back in, and order 1 case of boosters, (or two cases of boosters, to get a discount..) as a separate order.
  12. It was a colonoscopy that I wore the diaper for. When they brought me to the procedure room, I told the second nurse the same thing, about wetting when I sleep. She said "That's ok, we'll just undo this one side, and fold it down for the colonoscopy." Which they did... When I woke up later, my diaper was back on, and..... wet.
  13. Ditto what the others said. But probably leave the nursery print plastic panties at home.... 😂🤣😄 I actually wore a disposable diaper to a medical procedure a few years ago. They had to "put me under" for the procedure, and I was also in a hospital gown. I mentioned to the prep nurse that I wet when I sleep, so I was wearing an "incontinence brief". As I was telling her this, I raised the side of my hospital gown a little, showing her what I was talking about. She just smiled and said that was no problem, and it was much common than I might think.
  14. And when he wakes up, the Doc says " It went GREAT.... And I threw in fecal incontinence for FREE!" 😆🤣😁
  15. So will it be another 10 day stay down there? Any trouble getting more time off from work? Have you had to explain your bladder issues with your boss, or H.R.?
  16. Judging by the bloody photo, I think you've gone pass safe.... Yikes!!
  17. Reddy.... Any change to your condition?
  18. I like to pluck out my nose hairs with pliers.... So far, I have not found a support group. 😂🤣😆
  19. Or, as Forrest Gump said... "Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get." 😣☹😲
  20. Another great chapter!! Really enjoying this story...
  21. I wonder if they will leave the catheter in longer next time, for better chance of healing in open position...
  22. So is the process the same? 1 day in hospital after surgery, Catheter for 5 days afterwards?
  23. And then there's another possibility... Consider this - You couldn't pee, because inflammation was bad enough to cause a blockage. Now you've healed some more, but there's just enough inflammation left to mimic a normally functioning sphincter. As this inflammation goes down, the channel that was formed in the operation opens up again, and you start leaking again. Of course, only time will tell if this is the case. But you might want to keep pull-ups or diapers close by, if it is!! 😁
  24. On the other hand, some bad tacos at Taco Bell might give him a different kind of incontinence... 😆😆
  25. From your experience, and Reddy's, I wonder if the long term results would be better if they just left the post-surgery catheter in longer, like 10 days, instead of 5. Seems like things would have a better chance of "Healing in an open position..."
