  1. I honestly never again want to go through the process of replacing an engine after a catastrophic failure!

      I think that my Dad would agree with you, as there was a couple times, when we owned a Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager Van, that my Dad would have to pull the engine, and then replace it, have to prep it (Oil/Fluids, etc) and then have to drive home, pick up the family, and then drive for an HOUR to get to where we wanted to go, and then drive home afterwards.  I think My Dad's record for an engine change was 2 hours, when many of them take longer - Maybe my Dad's experience with them helped him to diagnose and change it faster?

      I actually saw my Dad pull 2 engines on a hoist - and then replace them - Not an Easy task! The Dodge/Chrysler and Plymouth Lines were also known for transmission difficulties - My Dad's words to describe these vans were that they were "Cow Manure Boxes" :)
