  1. It's hard for me to say to DailyDi or Repaid1 - this is a great site and you're doing a great job, but... However, I do agree with many here that there is a growing concern about conduct, context, and how this site is moderated. I think those are fair concerns to be discussed and have been since the beginning of this site. I truly believe DailyDi is doing what can be done and has our best interests. It’s continually demonstrated by improving this site to accommodate our concerns so that we can communicate better and enjoy our experience here even more. Unfortunately, you can’t please everyone and it must be a never ending job resolving so many complex issues with such a diverse community on a free site with what I assume is a modest budget. Back on point: What I see as the main issue here is not so much what one says on the boards, but where they say it. Obviously, the main forum, Our Lifestyle Discussion Forum, is the hub of the community and most reflects who we are. Unfortunately, it’s also a magnet for the trolls, attention-whores (love that term), and the pervs. All I would like to see is a few posts, not all, but a few, moved out of this forum to more appropriate forums. For example: Some messy diaper posts, which much has been discussed about lately, could be moved to the Stinky, Squishy & Proud forum, if not immediately, then after a few days of discussion. I know I would feel better if this forum was cleaned up a little to better reflect the majority of our members. I will do my part and try not to feed these posts that tend to dominate this forum at times with outrageous claims, extreme preferences, and tasteless context, if more effort was made to move some of these posts out of this forum. I think this anything goes attitude in this particular forum is causing too much division in the community and only emboldens those that feed off causing diversity. Disclaimer: I’m not suggesting that you can’t discuss something like bondage in the main forum and it’s only appropriate in the Bondage Forum. I’m saying there is a difference between soliciting feedback from the community as it pertains to bondage than forcing a preference upon the community that doesn’t reflect the majority. Unfortunately, some posts start out very innocently and turn into that...so some discretion should be allowed, especially if the author is actively responding and refocusing the discussion back to its original intent.
  2. That's great news, BabyLex. Congratulations
  3. abdl227, Being set free of this lifestyle/fetish is not a bad thing. I suspect that most of us have tried to walk away from it at some point in our lives. I always thought I would grow out of these desires at some point, but I never did. However, that might not be the case for everyone, including you. So, if this is the end, or the beginning, for you and this is what you want, then I wish you the best and hope that you succeed. We all have to walk our own path...
  4. Good for you, diaperguy68! I remember my first time out in public ...and I was just as paranoid. Up till then, I don't think I ever felt so naughty, but it was quite the rush.
  5. Welcome to the site, Crinolyn! Oh, I hated it when those disks went bad...I..I mean, I've heard of that happening back then. I spent about $25.00 for a calculator in 7th grade when they first came out. I look forward to seeing you on the boards!
  6. Welcome aboard, Kami-bozu! Hope you enjoy the site and I look forward to seeing you around the boards.
  7. Very sorry to hear that, toon. I'm glad you were able to endure such an ordeal. I'm starting to understand the deeper toon.
  8. Hi Bayb, Congrats on making the photo gallery!! It's hard to tell which is you without your babydoll outfit on, but if it's "a", we need to talk! I won't say which one I picked. Nice to see you on the boards!!!
  9. It’s possible, but improbable. To me, that would be an extraordinary event, definitely something worth sharing with the community, but I also have to consider the source. If I throw the flag, some will come to your defense and say it could have happened…then others will come to my defense and back me up…then others will make some comments about how we should all just get along…then someone will try to get us back on topic…then others will make new topics about the board police…then someone will make a new topic about how to bring the community together…then someone will thank DD for bringing us together. Let me save the community some time…Thanks DD!!! PS. I would have found it a little more believable if you hadn’t said “they approached me…
  10. Always enjoy reading a good thread! Thanks for sharing!!
  11. What an interesting read! I thought the analogy was humorous, clever and surprisingly accurate.
  12. Our Lifestyle Discussion Forum is the hub of the community. Embellished stories in this forum are self serving, nothing more, and they hinder the community in countless ways. This forum is dedicated to real life discussion concerning our lifestyle/fetish. We come to this forum to share very personal information about ourselves in an effort to understand who we are and why we have these desires. We hope to learn from these shared experiences, both humorous and serious, so that we can relate to each other in a meaningful way. Ultimately, we want to help each other come to terms with this lifestyle/fetish and to achieve some level of peace and acceptance. For some, just knowing others exist with these desires is enough, but for others, the shame and/or guilt runs much deeper, and they need the help and support of a healthy, undivided community. Furthermore, I find your remarks concerning “expressive people
  13. Thanks, toon! It took some time, but it was worth it. As an administrator for nearly 22 years, I have an almost unfair advantage on the boards. (That last part was said to intimidate you a little!) Anyway, we all know you didn't start losing interest...not one bit! Nobody writes a post like that and walks away. My goal was simply to get you to respond to ME without having to defend it. Mission Accomplished!!! How does it feel to have someone own your 25 year old Anti-Net Nazi ASS? Throw a little double double reverse anti-mean pro AB/DL psychology your way and I control you like a 4 year old. It was all too easy! 7.2 minutes to type this post while eating popcorn and watching a movie WITH COMMERCIALS – in case you were wondering. PS. Now that we have that cleared up, how about sharing some of your insight and knowledge about Munches and Parties with the community. Now that would be valuable reading!
  14. toon, I sincerely apologize on behalf of the “Group
  15. Bettypooh, One of the best threads I've ever read on this site. You could have just ignored this topic and subsequent posts and said nothing, but you didn’t. Despite the risk of sounding mean or being labeled as a member of the “Board Police
  16. Welcome to the site, PaddedPat! Enjoyed reading your intro and look forward to seeing you around the boards.
  17. I totally disagree with your reply, Yvhuce, but I totally supported one of your other responses earlier. It's important to find balance on the boards. Back to even!
  18. Welcome to the boards, adutbaby5! Congratulations on your first post!!! You should be able to find yourself and discover a few things that drive your desires on this site. Unfortunately, many of us here don't know why we do what we do, but we have found some level of understanding and acceptance. I do believe "Munches" are held in the New York area if your are serious about meeting others that participate in this lifestyle/fetish. However, from what I've read and observed, finding acceptance in a girl is far more important than finding answers.
  19. Welcome, MrFez!! What I would give to be 28 again and have this site available to me...
  20. I concur with, Yvhuce, completely. Money, binge/purge, privacy...we all find a way.
  21. Enjoyed reading your reply, babylin. LMAO!!! Reminded me of a similar incident. Wetnmessy247, Why am I not surprised by some of the replies to your thread? A member for 8 days, nearly 100 posts, promoting a lifestyle that most here find..let say...on the extreme side, and you top it off with a little public humiliation. The question I have for you is: Why are you so surprised?
  22. Thanks for sharing! Though not a must read, any article promoting adults wearing diapers is worth ready in my book.
