I personally wouldn't as I stated above it's best to tell the truth. I've seen a few posts from diaper wearers whether incontinent or DL or ABDL where they were caught and the out come wasn't pretty. And even though you are an adult the minute you moved into the assisted living home you lost your control over all living and health care privileges so the staff needs to.

Then don't live a lie tell the management and staff they need to know as far as house mates I wouldn't tell them unless you fear your closest ones or friends will find out. Its best to be upfront about it rather than keeping it a secret. People tend to lose trust when you keep secrets from them and they find out the hard way. So I've told a few friends and family and health professionals along with my payee. The payee knows cause I've ordered samples that have cost money..

Mommypro has posted a few times the last year or two about this and brought up his last thread were another member quoted him from one of his posts in incontinence desires forum and I believe that he may have been doing the 12 month program and gone past the point of no return and now isn't liking his decision. Yes you should tell your assisted living management. I don't know if your money situation or if you are on Medicaid. But if your not on Medicaid your assisted living management can help you get it if you qualify. With Medicaid you can receive free incontinence supplies of your choice with a doctor's prescription. I know you said that you don't want to see a doctor but if you are low income incontinence supplies can take a big chunk of your income.

I over looked the importance part not all diaper wears get impotence just like Baby Brian and one other said but their posts were deleted by a Hacker they also agreed with me on your kidney and UTI infections not all get them yes there is a chance of getting them even people who wears for fun can get them. And kidney infections is from not catching UTIs in time. Fecal matter can cause UTIs by getting into the urethral opening. And as I said above using better diapers lessens the chance of the two infections.

Along with checking for the UTI have the doctor check for OAB . If you have OAB you've developed it quickly or you didn't see the signs of if. I've have had OAB since I was born and it worsened over time to urge incontinence and I've been diapered 24/7 for several years.

I have been incontinent since I was 36 and I am 39. So I've been 24/7 in diapers for several years and have yet to get a severe infection like kidney or UTIs doesn't mean that it won't happen. I have had a yeast infection a couple of times. I think it's because I use level 4 diapers like abena X Plus plastic backed and switched to the NorthShore Supreme which soaks the urine up right away instead of the cheap diapers where you swim in the urine for a few minutes before the diaper soaks it up.

I like this I guess it just shows that we type these words a lot . We can take these words from are keyboard apps but a lot of good it will do whenever we retype them.
