      perhaps if you were to close them with a button or something, so stuff doesn't fall out

      but they already have hats that are animals with long parts that hang down from the ears that have places for your hands... problem is, if you are taller it is awkward... with a scarf I would be afraid of pulling it too tight around my neck.
