  1. I think the important thing to keep in mind is how much
  2. But that is such a great thing to do. I purposefully don't sign the back of my card so you would have to check my license. That said, you would probably be the only person who would check it, because no one even looks at it. It is a great security protocol to check the license, bit hardly anyone does it. If they are bitching at you about it, then they probably stole the card.
  3. Apple may actually have a larger security flaw than windows. I recently read an article about Thunderstrike 2, a worm that can get into apple computers without you even knowing and the only way to get rid of them is to reprogram the chips manually or get a new computer. Plus, the infected computer is highly contagious. I also agree with you on the updates dailydi. Some of them can literally be Trojan horses, so you should understand what is being updated on your computer. Of course, you are also damned if you never update, since your security will be outdated.
  4. I agree with elfking. I have had trouble with viruses in the past. Windows 8.1 windows defender had some weaknesses where some malware may shut it down. Now with the new software, it is acting more like an anti-virus software, but I have other things installed to protect me as well. We still have some xp's at work, but we cannot connect them to the Internet, because they are very vulnerable to attack.
  5. I'm always so surprised there are not more people who have
  6. If you really want to boost boot up time, stop the windows logo from popping up. Also, end all those useless programs that begin at startup like your software updaters and the programs you use that don't need to run in the background. My boot up time is a few seconds.
  7. That's a real bummer. My condolences. I hope he matures before it's too late.
  8. I would have to agree with everyone else, but I will add that if you still like him, you should have a serious talk with him. It sounds like he does not understand you at all, the reason for which i dont know.
  9. I got the upgrade on my Asus, and so far it is much better than 8. I've got my start bar back, plus, I have Cortana. I'll have to check and make sure the settings are correct for my SS drive, but so far I haven't found the place to go yet. You know software developers and how they like to move things around.
  10. They actually can all they want on the front and in some circumstances, the back as well, because they are claiming their right to the first admendment. It started awhile back when Kelloggs stated their All Bran cereal is "heart heathly". The FDA never called them on that and since then, food manufacturers having been making all kinds of claims without challenge. A perfect example is frosted shredded wheat which said kids that ate their cereal performed 20% better in school. The truth there was that it was actually 11% and they were comparing to kids who had not eaten breakfast at all.
  11. Yeah, not surprisingly, juice is just as bad as soda. There is so much sugar in juice. You are much better off eating the fruit, because then you actually get the nutrients.
  12. It cannot not be left to the states because that would create too many scenarios where there is seperate, but not equal, which is against the constitution. The states can do whatever they want as long as they don't go against the US constitution. The people can do whatever they want as long as they don't go against the constitution of the US and the state they reside in.
  13. I recently removed caffeine from my diet completely to get better sleep at night. Something I have realized is I get much better sleep and wake up much less groggy when I live a healthier lifestyle. When I eat fried foods at dinner time for instance, I feel like crap the next morning.
  14. Unfortunately, here on the ground in Madison, the way we view Scott Walker is very different. The main problem with a governer
  15. They don't get it gimmie, because when you are able to hike, you are able to go to a different destination that the cars cannot take you. That said, I love hiking in and of itself, so I would just do it for the fun whenever I have the chance.
  16. Well, to be honest, it depends on how much of a circus the Republican primary will be this year. The thing that killed Mitt Romney politically was all the Bullshit he said to appeal to their religious racist base, but that didn't go over so well because even the undecided idiots knew better and he had a tough time getting their vote. Then he also had trouble with his political base when he became known as the etch a sketch candidate. The trouble with the Republican Primaries is they would make the most serious candidate like Scott Walker look like a clown. If that happens, then you will likely see Hillary win. If they have a good primary, regretfully, I can see Scott Walker win.
  17. A good rule of thumb when dating at your age is to not date anyone who is younger than 21.
  18. Yep, I have a similar problem with the electric company. They recently decided to tack on a customer service fee. I haven't gotten around to scrutinizing them about yet, but I will soon.
  19. Most of the high altitude planes leak like a sieve when they are on the ground, much like my Dodge. That is so there is room for the seals to expand once the plane engines reach high temperatures. Those birds belong in the air.
  20. We were using a blanket, but it doesn't matter. If it really matters to you, then don't look. It takes quite a bit of maturity and patience to be a mother. I would hope that people show their own maturity when they see a mother breastfeeding a child. It is the least they deserve.
  21. We have had something similar to us happen at a Subway in some small random town.
