  1. Thinning my stash as I transition more to cloth and cloth/disposable liner hybrids. I have 7 packs of the ABU AlphaGatorz size L and 2 packs of Tykables Koda Cub size L. This weekend only, will let the ABU diapers go for $25 a pack, and the Tykables for $30 a pack. Buyer pays shipping. . Will ship anywhere but keep in mind these packs can be heavy and the boxes they sent in large. If shipping internationally, buyer pays all import fees/duty fees. Packages are sealed. Smoke free home. Shipping from Florida.
  2. I guess this would be helpful to new parents who may at first have difficulty knowing when their child is wet? But it's pretty easy to know when a disposable diaper is wet and needs to be changed, since they swell up a lot. Plus, is the device you clip on to the front of the diaper that owl thing? Seems like that would be a lot more obvious under clothes than a diaper, lol
  3. They did not discontinue them - I know others have contacted them and were told, no, they still intend to produce them, but likely will not have stock of them until at least May (I'm guessing that after the "sissy" diapers are sent out to those that ordered them, they will start production again on the cloth backed cushies).
  4. These are awesome! And I love the print! Where and when can we get these?
  5. I have 3 bags of 22 and 1 bag of 21 (total of 87 diapers) of the newer Attends with waistband, These have the plastic outer cover and 6 tapes. I stupidly bought the wrong size, which I realized when I tried one on! $30 plus shipping to you, cheapest way possible (unless you want them faster). Shipping from Florida.
  6. Interesting you say that. There's a listing for the girls size small-medium (4-8) in limited edition "Disney Fairies" print on Ebay.
  7. I bought a package last night since I happened to be near a Walgreens (and since I do tend to leak from my diapers overnite from time to time). They're expensive - $12 for a package of 9. Hoping that they'll sell big packs of them for less. Of course, it was a Walgreens too, and they tend to be more expensive then stores like Target, too. They're all white, the side that goes down has giant printing on them that says "Goodnites" and has a couple of stars and half moon designs on it and the words "This side down. The absorbent side is white as well. The pads are large. I realize they're meant for a twin bed, but I sleep in a King with my wife and the pad was easily as large as the cheaper disposable pads I've bought. I felt comfortable with the coverage area provided, and I toss and turn in my sleep. Absolutely LOVE the adhesive feature. There are 4 sections, two on the top, two on the bottom. They stick really well and keep movement to a minimum, which is one thing you can't say for other pads - I know that in the past, they've shifted out from under me. As it turns out, the pad did get put to use last night since my diaper leaked (been using cloth diapers more but still working on getting the leaks under control) and the pad held the large wet spot nicely, and did not soak through, Supposedly they can hold as much as a large/xl goodnite, which is a large amount if that's true. I don't know if families would use these every night given cost, but I could see them being a good backup when on vacation, visiting relatives, etc., and the child refuses to wear protection or a parent is worried about leaks on the bed.
  8. Love the idea of a cloth diaper with leg gussets! Don't know why they don't all do that. I would think it would help contain leaks around the legs like a disposable.
  9. Hi, Hoping that some of the more experienced cloth diaper users can help me. I just started getting into cloth diapers, and am using pocket diapers with stuffers. They're from Snap-EZ. I like the pocket diapers because they wash easily and dry quickly. Love the fit, and the feel. Much nicer and not as hot as a disposable. However, I'm having the hardest time with the diapers leaking out of the legs. This is the ONLY place the diapers seem to leak, but the result is when I sit down, I get a big wet spot on each side of my pants right on my butt! I've tried everything I could think of to alleviate this problem -I've washed the pocket diaper and liners several times in HOT, HOT water to improve absorbancy. I've checked to make sure they are not repelling water. I'm careful not to use any creams or lotions that might affect that (save those for at night, when I wear a disposable). I've adjusted the fit on the diaper to make it tighter. I've tried to arrange the stuffer(s) so that they are against the sides. And I make sure to change frequently, even though the microfiber top liner stays so dry, it's sometimes hard to know how wet I actually am. Nothing I seem to do helps! And, this is the only place the diaper seems to leak -like without leak gathers the way disposables have, the wetness just seeps out. I suppose this is why some infant/toddler cloth diapers are now including leg gathers, but we're not quite there the adult cloth ones. What am I missing or can I be doing differently? Please don't tell me to use traditional cloth with pins or anything like that. I'm looking for something convenient and easy to use and pocket diapers are it. I can't imagine people who use these on their children have this issue, so I must be doing something wrong. In the meantime, I'd love to wear these more, but the leaking/press out issue makes it so that I can't even sit down. Thanks for any guidance, A newbie.
  10. For anyone planning Disney or other trips --I happen to be a travel agent that specializes in Disney travel (I'm even a graduate of Disney's "College of Knowledge" and have the mouse ears to prove it) though I can book just about anything. There's no cost or fees for my services, and I can book resorts, tickets, your dining, child care, etc. I also price monitor and do your itinerary planning. Oh, and I've been to Disney World over 200 times (the benefits of an annual pass). So, if you're thinking of Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, or Adventures by Disney, or anything else, PM me.
  11. Hi all, I am selling a Nuk size 5 pacifier. My wife got it for me as a gift, but she didn't realize I'm not into the whole pacifier thing (I've tried them before, they're just not comfortable in my mouth). The pacifier is a light blue and has a star design on the front. Hopefully if I did this right, there's a picture attached to this. Not looking to make a profit, only wanting to get back what she paid, which is $25, with the shipping. I'll cover shipping to you, within the continental U.S. I can also ship it quickly, probably within a day or two of receiving payment from you via Paypal. I've sold things on here before with much success, so if you're at all interested, just send me a PM and I'll get back with you quickly. Thanks!
  12. Huggies actually tried this years ago in the U.S. with the Huggies Convertibles, that you could pull on like pants, or put on like a diaper. I don't think they ever caught on, because I don't think they lasted on the shelves more than a year or two. What's interesting about these is that they only come in size 3-5. If they're marketed for kids that are active and don't want to lie down to be changed (they're not marketed as pullups, but as slip on diapers after all) wouldn't you think there are lots of kids in size 6 who would benefits as well? I know most 2.5 -3+ year olds definitely do not want to have their diapers changed, but not all kids those ages are going to fit in a size 3 through 5.
  13. No, you're reading it wrong. The soft cloth exterior like the Swaddlers was added to sizes 3 & 4, but all the cruisers got the additional new designs, additional padding, etc. Haven't seen them yet, but from what I hear, they are slightly longer and wider (probably due to the additional padding they put back in) and puff up more. I've also heard that they have much more of a chemical smell to them now. Again, since I haven't seen the new ones, I can't comment.
  14. Actually, I like them a lot! Just running out of room with all the stuff I have and wanted to clear things out.
  15. They're a cloth like outer, but it's decent quality -can't say I've ever had them leak through, not once. I would ship USPS, parcel post, just because it's the cheapest method. I'm not trying to make money off the shipping. While I can't post a pic, pretty sure if you Google search them, you will find pics.
  16. Hi, Cleaning out my closet and am looking to sell 2 unopened packages of Tena Super Stretch diapers size M/L. These diapers have one large velcro closure per side. Normally they sell for about $25-$30 for a package of 28, I will sell them for $15 a package. Shipping will be based on actual cost from Florida (34212) to your zip code based on weight of 8 lbs. per package (I couldn't believe it either when I weighed it!). You can buy one or both packages. I also have some loose Abena M3 and extra Tena Super Stretch that I will try to include with your purchase. If interested, please reply here or private message me. Thanks.
  17. I don't know if it's pinhole leaks or an issue with the way the diaper clumps and the padding shifts when the diaper gets wet, but for the past 2 nights, I've had the diaper leak on the right-hand side, where the tapes connect. Two nights ago, it soaked my plastic pants in that spot, and then last night, I went without plastic pants and ended up getting the whole bottom lower right side of my pajamas wet. The diaper is still on snugly (but not too tight), my "boy parts" were pointed down the whole time, I sleep on my back and don't move around, and the diaper wasn't used to capacity (though still pretty full). There's also no press out from the diaper- just sat down with the wet diaper still on to type this and not a drop has leaked out. I honestly think these diapers have an issue where when they start to get full, the padding does shift and move around, so that when you pee more, instead of flowing to the unused back portion of the diaper it flows out. I don't know. Also have had waistband issues with this order from XP Medical. On I think my 5th diaper of the package (only use these at night) and only 1 of the 5 has had a correct front and back waistband. The rest all seem to have "partial" waistbands in the front. Not sure if that is contributing to my problem.
  18. I think really it's the perfect diaper for overnight use, or perhaps for times when you may not be able to stop for a change (e.g., a long drive). I got a sample from Dry Care and they simply swell up too much both front and back to be used for daily use. Aside from being obvious if you actually tried to wear it out in public, the amount of weight that it gains as it fills up does cause you to waddle a bit and get to the point where it's not comfortable regardless of where you are. I am a very heavy night wetter most nights, so for me, I'm thinking I've found the perfect overnight diaper and am just waiting on my order to come in. I am a little concerned though by the reports I'm hearing of defects. Will let you know how mine are.
  19. I recently got a sample of these diapers, and I have to say I am very impressed. My thoughts: The fit is excellent. I'm tall and skinny, and have a 38" waist, and I seem to run into a problems with a lot of diapers in that they cut into the sides of my legs, and always seem tight. Unfortunately, with those other brands, going up a size to a large meant they were way too big. The dry care is cut wider (or at least it seems to be to me) so that it actually was very comfortable and I didn't have that same issue. I've worn diapers with and without a waistband, still not sure if I prefer one over the other really. Not really sure if one allows for better fit or not. But I will say the Dry Care have a very nice waistband both in the front and rear, and it's much wider than in other brands that include a waistband. The tapes are strong -perhaps even a little too strong. If you try to adjust them you may end up tearing the diaper a little in the process. But they do hold tight, even when the diaper is quite full. This diaper is padded! Even wearing it dry when you first put it on, it's hard not to notice the thickness. I read one review where a person said it felt like they had a mess in their diaper when they put it on, and it's sort of true, lol. The padding is a little bulky in the back and in the seat of the diaper, though not uncomfortably so, and it's part of what makes this diaper so absorbent. It didn't make me waddle when I walked, but I will say I was more consciously aware that I was wearing a diaper than I am when I wear other brands. Also, it does fit easily under clothing though without being terribly obvious when dry, so if you were to wear this as a daytime diaper, I doubt anyone would really notice unless they were incontinent/AB/DL themselves. When wet, you get to see what makes these diapers really amazing. I have never worn a diaper than swells up as much as this one does when wet. It literally expands so much in the front AND back that it reminded me exactly of a toddler diaper (if you've ever seen a toddler or preschooler in a wet Huggies overnite and how much those expand after a night of pee, it's sort of the same thing, just on a larger scale). To give you another idea, I can usually wear a wet diaper around my wife under clothing without her even knowing how wet it is, but she took one look at my shorts and said "Wow, that diaper looks really full!" More impressive, perhaps, was the fact that there was no "press out" from the diaper. Many times once a diaper gets really wet you expect to leave a wet spot on clothing and/or furniture, and that didn't happen, and I soaked this thing. And, while they do remain dry on your skin, the reality is that as heavy as they get, the more cumbersome it is to move around that you'll want to change. Given how much they swell up therefore(and their cost) I can't imagine these being practical for an active person in a daily setting. I'm not the best person to test to see if they could in fact last 12 hours though. I have an overactive bladder and a weak bladder to boot (I can hold it, but not for very long). On a good day, not drinking much in terms of fluids, I'll pee 10-12 times, easily. Drinking just normal amounts of water or other fluids throughout the day, and I go A LOT more. I'd guess the average person could make them last 12+ hours though. For me, I'll probably use them as an overnight diaper and for long car trips. My wife and I are headed on a 10 hour drive next month, and I imagine I will wear one for that. But to each their own. Bottom line, they are a very, very impressive diaper and I highly recommend them.
  20. I appreciate that. I've been trying to remember what it was but just could figure it out. So I figured I'd give myself a new name that's much easier to remember.
  21. Thanks! Yup, I used to sell theme park exclusive merchandise, it was a lot of fun! And now that I've found a great product to sell once again, I'm excited to get back into it.
  22. Hi all, First, I should mention that I'm not new here. I used to have an id and post from time to time but for the life of me, I can't remember my log-in information. I'm also not new to the AB/DL scene, since I've been into it since I was about 8. =) In any event, I have started selling Wellness diapers on Ebay. I can ship cases to the continental United States (every state except Alaska and Hawaii). Price for a case of 60 is $79.00, shipping included. That's less than the manufacturer's price. If you want two or more cases, I can lower the price to $75.00 a case. What's nice is that regardless of what size you get (small/medium, large, or extra large), they all have 60 diapers per case. I've used these diapers for my bed wetting (back when it was a lot heavier than it is)and I can tell you that these hold A LOT, and I had very little issue with press out or leakage unless I really, really flooded. My experience is they do run a little big -I'm a 38" waist, 6'6"/210 and I fit the small/mediums just fine. But of course, your mileage may vary. The link is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270637987874&var=&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT I'm an experienced seller on Ebay, I used to run two Ebay stores while in law school and back then was a Top-Rated Power Seller. Haven't sold in quite awhile, so lost my powerseller status, but hoping to get it back. Any questions, please ask. Bob
