  1. As it goes for DK Enterprises, QualityD's, Tiger, You-Know-Who, etc: Concerning authorship, there seem to be a handful of possible people from our community- or spurned by our community- who could be behind DK Enterprises. The sites involved don't even give any real names of owners or any of the identifying trappings of a legitimate online store. Gosh, that seems like enough to think that they may not be doing what they say they are doing. "I have seen the pic, and I don't find it adorable, I find it creepy. I find it rather disturbing that a child would be used to advertise a diaper like that." "Add another vote for creepy. And the problem isn't so much with ABU, but "Quality Diapers" just looks like child porn. There is no real product description. The only focus of the whole site is on the kid in diapers. And on top of that, the photos are so poorly taken that it just puts off a horrible vibe. I can't imagine that any parent who isn't already a diaper fetishist would buy their kids something from that page." "thats kinda.... creepy. this is prolly where people get bad thought about us." "But when dealing with kids, you have to draw some serious boundaries." If this is the reaction of seemingly half of us, members of a community where wearing and seeing diapers is welcome and normal, what might prospective customers of this site think? We are meant to believe that they are really marketing to the parents of bed wetting or incontinent youth with this site? It just doesn't seem like that is the case to me. Really, they can have that sort of site if they wish... and we can think it as wrong or right as we like. We can argue about it all we want, the choices they made are theirs to make and those kids are not naked or being abused, in the pictures. It just seems like they're lying about the intent, and that raises some flags for me. So we are left with a site that is anonymous and controversial. As it goes for ABU and its connections or choices: I'm not trying to make any assertions about the 'moral consequences' of something like this, I just really hope that we are not stupid enough to think that this is a legitimate way of selling the product to the supposed audience. The real issue, to me, is that what we thought of as a trusted supplier of adult FETISH products seems to have a connection with a site like this at all... shoddily constructed, controversial, dealing with minors in diapers. 'Fetish' and 'minors' don't need to be near each other, and I think just deciding to use that image shows a serious lack of judgement. Let's take QualityDiapers/Tiger/DK at face value- anonymous and controversial at best. I mean, we could argue and speculate all day about who is doing it (since there isn't a clear CEO or owner being named and no full address) and we could talk about the images all day too (even though they don't seem to match the way the rest of their supposed industry sells the same type of product, and lots of AB's even think they're creepy) and we could debate about quality of design or coding of the website and how that reflects on a company that is supposedly legitimate (even though it looks unprofessional, and yet again doesn't seem to match the rest of its supposed competitors). So, do any of us really want the connection between a site for adult fetish products and a controversial site with images of a minor posing in diapers? Do we think it was OK to use an image of a minor on a fetish product supplier's site? Or that they deal with Tiger at all or share products with QualityDiapers? Of course, it was ABU's choice to use that cropped image of a minor and they can do what they please... but I certainly don't want my money in their pockets if these are the choices they make. ABU can make their choices about the associations they make, but old connections to... that guy, to Tiger, now to QualityDiapers... too much for me, I fold. Now, I suppose I've done what everyone else has done. But, consider this: I think everyone should take into account that this is controversial. If that is the case, do you really care enough about ABU's products to keep buying from them when there's even a shadow of a doubt about how clean they're keeping their noses? Gosh, I'm just tired of seeing yet another instance of "uh, oh... ABU is doing x" on the forums. I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to find out later, without doubt, that they are involved with unsavory folks who make my community look bad and think "Well, crap, I could have just bought diapers somewhere else." The information we've gotten from ABU seems scant, unapologetic, vague. To me, even if I didn't think that QualityDiapers was creepy, that would be enough to just shop somewhere else.
  2. I'm really not sure what you're trying to imply with this question, either that it creeps you out that other people's clothing is getting tried on by me, or that you think I'm wearing items often and then selling them as new. I wear any new item to take pictures. If you order something from me, I will have to take pictures of it so that you can see it when it is done before you pay for it, and so that I can have some pictures of the things I've made so far. This is the system I started with because people had no idea what the things that I made looked like, since I was brand new to making AB clothes. If someone ever asked me not to put an item on to take pictures, then of course I wouldn't. I used to ask people at first, but everyone said they didn't care at all. Now that there is a website where you can see that I am obviously putting the item on to take a picture of it, anyone could easily ask that I just take pictures of it laying out flat instead. Then, there are times that people want to buy something that is already mine, marked as such on the website, and I will sell it to them if I don't wear it enough and they really want it. It is clear that an item is mine, and being worn by me, if it says 'made for aidan' instead of 'made for sale' or 'made for so-and-so'. Items that are marked 'made for sale' are items that I made to sell, obviously, and I don't wear them. Items that were marked 'made for aidan' were worn by me, clearly.
  3. I just wanted to point out a couple of things, because this post has become interesting. Todd, you said sort of recently that we all really don't want pedophilic activity talked about or promoted here, which of course is a very true statement! If anyone here said anything remotely pedophilic, we would all likely jump on them as quickly as possible, to get a word in edgewise before they were banned. Generally, we hate pedos more than the general population for personal reasons or just because they tend to make us look bad to outsiders of this community. Point being, if we have a community that generally has a strong disdain for pedophilia, and if that is a fact that anyone posting about children is aware of...then it seems to me that they are actually less suspicious. Why would anyone admit, completely out in the open at this site, that they work with children unless they were either stupid (in which case they'd likely slip up and reveal themselves within said post or soon enough) or they simply have nothing to hide when it comes to their job and the fact that it may involve diapers in some way. I'd be more worried about the guy that seemed to telling us some creepy story about how he doesn't get to work with diapers and wishes that he could than the guy that says, "I work with disabled children". Now, my second point... lets suppose that I'm wrong about the first part, and anyone posting about working with diapered kids IS suspect, or at least going to pull negative attention here. Considering that at this wonderful community we would destroy them in retaliation posts and evict them, and considering that all of that evidence of our hatred for people like pedophiles is still floating around in this forum, I think this site is fairly safe from shut down. Now, that is a statement that I do not really have enough information to stand behind 100 percent, but it seems to me that if this site actually 'self cleans' and outwardly bad mouths pedos and pervs on the whole, we really shouldn't worry about this paranoia... unless of course the evidence for perviness was in one of these actual posts. Worrying about this paranoia when you are doing absolutely nothing wrong seems, in an ideal world, much more suspect than being open about your life. Both sides have made some good points to think about! This is definitely an issue that we should all consider before we reveal our personal lives to the internets.
  4. I know, let me start with this: I really do apologize to anyone who is a regular here on this forum thinking, "Wow, Aidan only seems to post about selling things". I hate to let people think that I'm so interested in making money and not interested in the community at large, but I haven't had the time lately to hang out here at all. Just know that I am very much a part of this community... this is a very big part of who I am, and as a result I undertook this clothing venture in February to try and make clothing that was realistically little and develop some real patterns for people like us to use. I have been very focused on getting these patterns ready in digital format, working full time, and trying to get set for an art show that I'm not ready for at all... so I may seem somewhat invisible lately... but I am really excited that these patterns are done now. Some of you may know about my little hobby of making AB Clothing, and may even be familiar with the website my girlfriend and I have that shows the things we make and offers us the chance to make custom orders for AB's and LK's like myself. I know, we don't seem to put out enough items. I really wish I could get a few items made each week and really keep the list moving at a steady pace... but I just can't offer that much time right now. And so, at the strong request of some people who know how to sew and want to make something they can wear in less than a month (), I am actually going to sell my patterns just like real patterns. I'm offering 4 sets right now: 1. Onesies (including Short and Long Sleeved, Raglan and Regular Sleeved, Hooded, and Lap-Neck Styles included) 2. Rompers, Footed Pajamas, Union Suits (including Short and Long Sleeved, Hooded, Raglan and Regular Sleeved Styles included) 3. Shortalls and Overalls 4. Pajama Sets (including Long and Short Johns, two-piece footed pajamas) I am offering them for 15 dollars for the first pattern set, and 10 dollars each for subsequent patterns if you are so inclined to purchase them all, or more than one, at once. In this way, anyone who wants to sew their own little kid wardrobe can have all the necessary starting patterns- the same patterns I use to make my custom clothes- for under 50 dollars. I've spent months and months developing all of these patterns with experiment after experiment, many of which turned out just fine but needed more adjustment. I vowed not to buy a single pattern to 'hack' my own patterns from, and I never did. So, if you have any interest in sewing or learning to sew, consider using my patterns to make your projects. I'd be thrilled to see what you come up with, and would love to give any advice I can and adjust the pattern sets as needed to make them better over time. There is information at my little site that explains how to order these: https://sites.google.com/site/aidanemmysclothing/patterns A big thank you to DailyDiapers for having a section in their forums for little folks like me that want to get a bit of word out... I have no idea what I would do otherwise, and just know that I've been hanging around for years. This was the first place, back when I was still terrified of what I am, where I learned a lot about how many other people shared the same interest. It helped a lot, and it still does.
  5. I do have a website, https://sites.google.com/site/aidanemmysclothing/ and, we do prefer to use paypal to accept orders. We don't have payment buttons there, just send me a message or email if you are interested and I can send a request via paypal. Be sure that you give me the email address you use for paypal! Thanks for the question, that clears things up a bit.

  8. Hey Guys, I came here because my friend toon recommended I try it out. I have sort of lurked around for a few years, but finally have joined and uploaded pics to share. I am in Kansas, I live near my GF who knows about this stuff, and I enjoy making clothes, cooking, playing with legos, playing on playgrounds, exploring parks and forests, and taking care of my garden. Thanks for having me! -AidanKid
  9. Thanks! Also, The only item left from this post is the pair of denim shortalls with yellow trim.
  10. Two down! The Orange and Gray Cargo Romper and the Blue and Green Polo Onesie are sold!

    Fun Clothing

Not to change the flow of the conversation, but there's an old link to my blog that my buddy Toon posted a while back that has been dead for a long time now. Me and my girlfriend make clothes for big kids, not really as a business... more as a hobby. But, we do take ideas from people and make them something kiddish. Aidan & Emmy's Custom Clothing!
