I have checked out the ring lord. It is far cheaper to buy wire locally and turn them into rings yourself using a dowel rig. But I happen to have good wire available that is local. I have not experienced much problem at all with galvanized steel leaving a residue. At least all of the steel I have used that is labeled "galvanized" anyway. I suppose you may be right about the aluminum though. It is just that everything I have seen made in aluminum is labeled as "costume wear" and I suppose I just assumed it is not all that ridged compared to steel and that the only redeeming qualities was that it was shiny and light. It has been awhile since I have truly been involved in full works of chainmail (it can get pricey after awhile) but I incorporate it into my art very often. I am certainly no novice but certainly no master as well.

There was a time when I just moved to a new town, where I was teased. Not for diapers though. I was significantly smarter than everyone in my school and everyone knew it. In 7th grade this all led to a fight in the gym weightlifting room. It was this MONSTER of a guy who was about as dumb as a rock. He weighed over 200 lb and was over 6 foot tall. I was very proud of myself when I whooped his ass and no one really bothered me for a few years after that. I was more of a pariah than a victim. I absolutely hate fights but I will if I have to. In High School I carried brass knuckles (fights where very common) and thankfully I never had to use them. I kind of got a "f*ck it" attitude then and began to be very cocky and pompous. It was more of a show than anything. But oddly enough I became well known and popular because of it. I befriended everyone, popular people and outcasts alike. I was like an ambassador.

I am in the same boat as you. I, personally, go about a month without wearing alot, then a month wearing a bit and then a month where I am wearing a ton. Sometimes I will go a few months without wearing at all and then wear them 24/7 for a few weeks.

Your standards are pretty high. a potential mate must be an ab/dl? How about an understanding woman who will participate? Why don't you just go looking for love first and then try to fit your lifestyle in? If your partner truly loves you they will understand. Honestly, I don't have a lot of sympathy for you. Give up ab/dl if it makes you happy. Just don't go whining to all of us about it. Have your artificial life, shut up and try to be happy. I was a lurker for awhile and just joined the forums as well. It is a whole lot more fun when you start getting "involved".

Long car rides. It seems like I can drink gallons of fluid and not have any problem but as soon as I have a bottle of water on a long car trip, I have to go immediately. So I just prepare ahead and put one on. I have been living on my own for awhile now so it is usually just me and my girlfriend in the car together. I couldn't wear when I was traveling with parents obviously.

I told my girlfriend about it 2 or 3 days into the relationship. She was more than ok with it and now we have been living together for about a year and I am in a diaper that she put on me last night. She really doesn't care at all. We are about as socially liberal as it gets. If it harms no one, do as you will. And if it makes your partner feel great at little effort to you, participate a bit. First off, most plastic backed diapers are not considered discreet because of the noise factor. Most people don't notice the crinkling anyway and if you are really paranoid get a chain on your wallet or link your keys to your belt. But the thinnest that is plastic backed would have to be depends maximum protection. They compress it during packaging so it is very thin and they defiantly can fit that size waist. I wish I could tell you a more "exotic" diaper that fits your needs but depends seem to fit the requirements pretty well if you don't mind constantly leaking.

I have made and woren a decent amount of chainmail. I do have the skill to make pants such as these but not the material. First off there is the issue of pinching. it may pinch you and the diaper causing pain or even worse, diaper ripping. it would have to be done with a very thin gauge and very fine links to try to limit or prevent this. A pair of undies over the diaper would work well too, just more boring. That is how they normally solve the pinching problem, with a layer of fabric. 16 gauge would work and be more sturdy but 18 would work better because it is more fine and fluid when in links. Galvanized steel should be used to prevent rust, stainless steel is way too pricey. If the rings were riveted it would give it a whole lot more strength, especially because the gauge and rings would be smaller. It also would prevent a naughty, determined baby from getting pliers and weakening it one link at a time until it could be wiggled out of. Overall, to make it work well, it would have to be form fitting, fine and strong. There are lots of curves to work with so the first pattern would be difficult. After I have made one though it should be easy because I can record the pattern. If one was to be commercially produced it would cost between $150-200 at least because of the complexity. Double if the rings were riveted because it is so much work. I think I may make one for myself in the near future if I can get some materials. I already have all of the equipment to make it. If I do I will make sure to show everyone. I wouldn't mind making them on commission either if anyone really wanted one. I would just need to get the whole thing worked out first.

It is so rare to get diapers that have that babyish smell. But when I do there is something about it the hypnotizes me. I remember I bought a rather old pack of depends from a drug store and they smelled AMAZING. For some reason I couldn't keep my hands off them for a second. I wore them constantly until I ran out. surprisingly, I know how to sew real well. I would love to make some simple ab/dl things for myself but alas, I have no sewing machine and my handwork is junk.

my best childhood memory would have to be when I was between 11-13. My family lived on the beach and I would spend my days by myself pretending all sorts of things while roaming up and down the beaches and adjacent forests. It was nothing but carefree swimming and sun. In the evening I would climb up one of the four mulberry trees within a mile from my house (only I know where the secret one was) and I would watch the sunset while munching of freshly ripened berries. That year I got my own pocket knife, which I was probably too young to have, but I loved it so much. It was my one prized possession I learned how to carve smooth beach wood and soon I was making small sculptures and weaving natural fibers from what I would find in the forest. Looking back on it all, I truly miss those days. I don't understand why I cant live my whole life that way. Not a lot of diapers can be found in the forests though and if they did I would never come out . As for ab/dl memories, It would have to be a couple of years ago. Because I was one of so many children I had never taken a vacation in my life. Well, I turned 18 and I went to Disney World without my family. I did not expect the week long trip to be so moving but as soon as I got there I was almost crying. I truly felt like a kid again. I have always considered myself a dl but that whole week I was just a little kid. I had to grow up way too fast as a child and got no attention at all. But at Disney it was magical. It was just all a dream come true. Hopefully I will be going again in a couple of months with my girlfriend and you can betcha I am bringing some bambinos with me for the evening. The whole experience was like therapy.
