I was out in the park with a friend walking his dog one day last spring. I was wearing a nappy as I always do when out and about. At that time I hadn't told my friend about that. We bumped into a lady and her daughter who were walking a cute little puppy. As dog people do, the lady and my friend got talking about their dogs. The little girl, clearly bored, insisted that I played catch. I agreed, I love kids; they have so much energy, they get excited so easily and they're often more genuine and honest than most adults. Although on this occasion that was to be a bad thing. After we had played catch and run around for a while we went back to her mum and my friend (still talking about dogs) and sat down. Shortly after the little girl looked down at my jeans and frowned. I recognised the look instantly. It was the look people make when they notice the top of my nappy peeking out from under my jeans. Had it been an adult, they would probably have been too polite or embarressed to ask, but kids have no fear and do not understand tact or politeness. She just came straight out with it "What's that under your jeans?". I tried to say "nothing" but she persisted. Luckily for me her mum clearly undertood what I was wearing straight away, she just called her daughter over and said something to her quietly that made her stifle a laugh and then she just sat down, said nothing but just sort of smirking. I was petrified and was sure my friend would start asking questions. As it turned out he was too busy playing with the dogs to even notice (he never was the most observant person) but the lady and her daughter clearly knew. We left shortly afterwards, could have been worse but still quite embarressing.

I think this is a fascinating question. Most would assume that our childhood experiences would influence our choice in nappies. It seems this is not the case. Like th OP, my mother only ever used to use cloth nappies and yet my fixations have always focussed on disposables.

Just have two accounts if you wanna be ABDL on Facebook. Can't see why you'd wanna though, I found one or two ABDL groups that didn't seem at all friendly - but then they probably got a lot of hassle from dickheads. Unless my stupid what? (sorry, couldn't resist being a grammar Nazi there)

I did try eHarmony, went through all the pain in the arse questions, but never paid. I can't remember if they tell you about any matches before you pay or not, but I seem to recall them saying there were no matches for me

There is a portable version of Google Chrome on there too. In my experience, DailyDiapers works a little better in Chrome (but that could just be me ) I have used http://www.zend2.com without any problems. Their service is very fast and efficient and they even warn you if you try to view a "secure" webpage warning you that your data is not secure. I still wouldn't trust it to do my online banking, but for viewing DD in private, it's perfect

There is far far too much of this sort of nonsense. Somehow we need to rein these people in, surely they'd get a better reaction to their posts here :\ I once came across some ABDL fantasy posts that had been put up on a bedwetting forum which was full of parents and KIDS!!!! How the heck are we ever going to shake the stigma that ABDL is somehow linked to paedophilia when there are idiots advising mothers to force their kids into nappies 24/7. I mean FFS! /rant I suggest that if anyone sees any of these posts, send the poster an email, if possible, with a link to this site

Hi JamesR, That's an interesting story. I think you may be on to something here. I shall attempt to answer your questions as best I can. 1) I would say she is definitely more likely to accept it. Sadly there can be no guarantee about such things but I'd say she's most unlikely to freak or consider a diaper fetish so waaay out there she can't deal with it. 2) Me personally yes, I definitely would risk it, but thats just me (my best friend already knows). The subject of coming out or being outed to friend comes up here a lot, and the advice always given is "look at what you hope to gain, and what you risk if it backfires, is it worth it?". As everyone's friends and circumstances are different, only you can decide if the risk is worth it. From what you've written though, she doesn't sound like the type who would blab something like that - I'm sure she knows how that feels herself in her line of work! And if your buddy dated this girl for a while, surely he's relatively open minded himself. Anyways, that ones up to you 3) You've already taken the first step and told her that there is something, and she wanted you to tell her more. Considering how open and frank she has been with you already about her work, I'd say tell her as soon as you feel comfortable with it. As I said above, I doubt she'd freak, worst case; she tells you she's not into it and doesn't want to try it. Although much like 2) this is ultimately a judgment call only you can make - but what you have written sounds promising at least 4) Keep us posted how it goes, and best of luck!
