I've always thought that, generically, stereotypically, diapers defines the child and not-diapers defines the adult. However, there is something to be said about how sharing in diapers does show a unique level of acceptance regarding diapers. But how far does that go? Do you then do everything baby does in the diapers to show acceptance? You can use the acceptance angle to take it to the Nth degree, and become another AB in the process. Not that there's anything wrong with that; people do it. It just can change the relationship from a strict parent-child relationship to a switch between that and siblings.

It might have something to do with how you work in a gratuitous scat angle in almost every post you make.

Has anyone ever opted out of using baby powder in favor of something else, like oil or lotion? How well do you suppose that would work, using only baby oil and no baby powder for diaper changes? I ask because I have a medical condition that renders powder a threat to my health. It's a bummer I know, but it's what I have to live with.

"ruin" is a pretty strong term to be hitched to such vagueness as "too much"... um, hmm. I think use of pacifiers can impact the alignment of your teeth. I don't know how big of an impact it can have, and any impact would not be sudden. I suggest asking your dentist, if you can stand doing so.

Funny because it's true. I haven't been in a "diapers only" mode for years. Now I've been in a diaper ever since putting on the first one of these yesterday, and I might run right out of the pack of 10 before I relent. I have definitely found my favorite daytime diaper. The SDK and Cushies are the closest to baby diaper replicas, having only one tape (which holds great by the way). There's no odor problem I've had with these at all so far, unless you count the sweet baby smell as an odor problem

Oh no! Not at all. When I say I was bowled over, I mean really impressed. They really do smell like luxury Pampers baby diapers from my childhood. They transported me back in time more effectively than any adult diaper ever has, ever. My only gripes are that they're insanely expensive and not as absorbent as Bambinos. The scent is optional, and it costs extra, but it's so totally worth it. It's a whole different experience, and I haven't had it in a long, long time.
