  1. i like to wear while i jog on lunch break, which means i'm doing 3 things i like at the exact same time! :-D it's a triple stress reliever!
  2. i got epididymitis about 4 days after spending three weeks wearing a catheter almost every night :-) it was awesome, i got to be a bedwetter for a little while, but having a giant painful swollen testicle was sooo not worth it. i haven't played with catheters since then :-(
  3. jcrowley: good luck and stay motivated! fitting into smaller diapers is one of my secret motivations as well :-D i saw on a newspaper that the united states army is considering adding pull-ups to their fitness test. lol! have they not realized that diapers would probably work better? :-D
  4. my wife pointed out that i hadn't worn a diaper in a while. i told her that in fact she was wrong; she just hadn't noticed. she said she always notices because i smell like pee when i do. :-P well, sometimes that's true, but i've worn dozens of times without her mentioning it, so i think i'm sneakier than that! but the *real* reason has to do with my fitness routine! on my lunch break if the weather's good i drive to a fairly-secluded spot by a lake, change from my work clothes into a diaper and shorts and socks and shoes, and jog for like 5km on the lake trails in the sun with my shirt off :-D sometimes there are other people on bikes or on horses, but hardly ever other joggers, so i never feel concerned or self-conscious about the way i'm dressed. the diapers are my favor to myself for being a good boy and getting some exercise. and i like the resulting tan too!
  5. thanks bettypooh! it's so great when clothes fit better, especially for us that considet ourselves "littles" ;-) i'm on a 50-day "losing streak" according to my tracker: http://i.imgur.com/jk26c9Il.jpg :-D but that's just how i've been doing recently. the whole story is here: http://i.imgur.com/e7guK6Ul.jpg ... if i ignore the rollercoaster and state it most simply, since i started tracking my weight in march of 2012, i've lost almost 5 pounds! :-P it takes time! hang in there!
  6. yaaaaay! i passed my fitness test! now for the hard part: to continue healthy habits because i am self-motivated to feel better... and not because i will have another test in six months :-D
  7. first, replies: spargano - congratz! slow and steady wins the race. it doesn't take drastic measures, but lots of little choices over time. i am counting milestones: i last weighed 175 a year ago, 165 five years ago (and when i was 10!), 155 ten years ago (malnourished and exhausted from military basic training), and 145 ever! i'm aiming for 123, as an experiment just to see if i can do it without starvation or supplements :-) 190 this morning. wayz2plzu: you keep putting "cook" in quotes... i guess either you don't feel you're good at cooking, or cooking means reheating prepared food in the microwave ;-) i *love* the brand of healthy-ish stir fry microwave things by the company "tai pei" called "asian garden" - they're cheap, there's a good variety, they're like 200-300 calories, and they always hit the spot. plugplugplug :-) and good luck with plantar fasciitis, it sounds like a drag. bettypooh: good job! good health is way more important than small size. eat healthy and your body will adapt in beneficial ways. mikey & hawaii: keep it up! mental wellness is a bigger deal than many people realize because they take it for granted. mahalo ;-) ... aaand my own update: my fitness test was rescheduled for next week! part of it is a 1.5-mile run (which i can reliably manage in 13 minutes), but in oklahoma city it was too windy for that today, and even snowed a little before noon! it was 80 degrees fahrenheit two days ago... dang bipolar weather. so stay tuned for further fitness adventures of whisko, your friendly neighborhood kitchen utensil! /posted from an exercise bike at the gym
  8. i just have to put in a good word for silicone foleys :-D i recommend sticking with the 5cc balloon so there's less extra material to pull out, and i also recommend cutting off the outlet port so it drains closer to your body. i never did figure out how to create an internal hidden cath that i can trust not to lose, but the silicone foley gave me the closest approximation yet.
  9. (yay necropost!) i'm still a problem child when it comes to working out, but at least right now i'm on the road to improvement :-) i have another fitness test monday, and i've been practicing my run and losing weight recently. i'm down to 190, from a high of 205 in early march (!), without weight loss pills or starvation - i try to eat good things, and i allow myself one alcoholic drink and one caffeinated (but sugar-free) drink a day, though i do get to vary their sizes. my goal is to feel comfortable shirtless at the beach... my long term goal is to jog shirtless without parts of me continuing to bounce :-) and of course my super double secret goal is to look damn sexy in goodnites :-D i'll post again after my test! how's it going for everyone else?
  10. oranges! :-D i don't need a dangerous sharp tool to peel oranges, and they make the whole room smell fresh!
  11. i sleepwet once fairly recently :-D i dreamt that i waa out on a lake, laying on a floatie reading a magazine, and had to pee. it took effort to start the flow in my dream, which is weird, but it caused me to actually pee a bit! i tried to make it happen again with no luck. i might try melatonin, and/or begin reinforcing mentally that "melatonin always makes me wet the bed" so it should just happen that way :-)
  12. mommies are supposed to help raise their little ones :-D it's too bad he thinks he's a big man and can make the rules, when he should have more respect for mommy and what she needs to teach him! seriously though, he is missing an opportunity to improve in several ways - personally, hygenically, and as a roleplaying little. i'm sorry he's being a jerk.
  13. lol, nicely done :-D your tone of voice made me realize it was an april fools day though... your message made me think you were experiencing one of a parent's worst possible tragedies, and the tone of voice i heard as i read your post was like "oh shit! i spilled sweet tea in my car and now i'm gonna need the floorboard cleaned!" :-P but it's more than i tried to do today!
  14. i got 4 packs of medium attends 10's for $5 each at a garage sale i found through craigslist :-D they're enjoyable and a bit noisy. it was a little awkward buying them in my work outfit, with my name on my shirt, but i just carried the huge stack to my car like a boss :-)
  15. not hard at all in a real irc client, but i don't know about (because i don't like) the web-based ones. it might be easy to have rooms like #lobby, #helpdesk, #playpen, #kennel (for babyfurs), etc.
  16. my impression is that adisc's mods try very hard to suppress flamewars through tactical censorship like [redactions] and closing threads, but each time i've seen them also explain the reason for the action. some more sensitive members (often the ones who started the flamewar in the first place) end up feeling disrespected, unwanted, or maybe even conspired against. but that is always the dilemma for the moderators to manage. i think they have done a good job overall.
  17. regarding changing in public restrooms: nobody cares! well, except other dl's, and we enjoy it without letting you know. :-D give it a shot!
  18. so now wakkowannabe wants to practice impulse control? oy veh, my head hurts from that contradiction :-P
  19. heck, i'll weigh in - i'm a proud member of both websites as whisko, and a couple others as other things :-) i joined adisc on my 30th birthday after lurking a while, and i posted a couple of well-thought-out threads which i turned into blog posts just to keep them around. i joined dailydiapers to talk more frankly about my interest in catheters, since that was against adisc rules. adisc is big on rules, and quite a few prominent members have been banned... but that's the site owner's intent and his prerogative, and the atmosphere of the site is maintained. and some of the banned folks just decide to hang out here now instead. :-D there is plenty of cyberspace to go around, and both dailydiapers and adisc are leaders in this unusual category. some sites are empty like ghost towns. but just look at all the pageviews, guests, and new memberships dailydiapers gets - the numbers don't lie!
  20. i think a lot of people get disappointed in chat rooms because they expect way too much. many people are connected but may not even be at their keyboards, some may be reading websites while waiting for certain friends, and some might just not want to talk. so connect, say hi, respond when people greet you, and respond to conversations that interest you. if it becomes hurtful or boring, disconnect, whatever... you can't get "cyber-bullied" or flamed if you don't get emotionally invested. you can always disconnect. if you can, but entirely optionally, say bye before you leave. and maybe over time you will get to know people, and you'll kind of have your own clique. :-)
  21. i looove having all these guests! i think most of our members were anonymous lurkers for a while before making the "emotional commitment" of joining. it's a big step - before you join, you can claim that you were just surfing randomly; once you're a member, it's harder to deny - you have a name, a history, and a reputation, and you're keeping in touch with your peers! so, if you haven't joined, you're welcome to. or not. either way i hope you enjoy the website. we don't bite... (well, probably not. there are other websites for that :-D )
  22. traumachick is okay! :-D she is just dealing with some serious issues right now and had to drop out for a bit. i won't be able to head up the next event, but go ahead and start a new thread if you're brave enough!
  23. april 1 is not a possibility for me... i don't know when i can catch up with this idea again. however i am often available weekdays to meet for lunch in midwest city :-) drop me a pm!
  24. oh no! traumachick hasn't been on since 19 february! i don't have another way to reach her either... D-: hope she's doing ok!
  25. aww i suppose :-( sadly... i don't want to be the leader of the clan because my work schedule is weird and i'm doing this on the down-low... i look forward to april maybe?
