  1. Ive been working from home for a few years and wearing most days, summer months just shirt and a diaper. Two weeks back the wife's office closed. Even thought she is well aware of my fetish out of respect for he I don't wear in front of her.
  2. The more you use a stent the less noticeable it becomes. The exception to this is if you take six months off then you have to stat over again but the recovery time is shorten.
  3. Ha, wait until you get a bit older say in your sixties. The urge to pee and or not being able to hold it becomes more of a problem.
  4. your English is a lot better that my German will ever be. Luckily for us there online translators available. There are a lot of different stent designs. The best I have seen was made of medical grade materials. I have made many stents myself and been doing this for many years. The differences are a personal choice. Some work better for some people. For me I have found a 16FT catheter with a 30cc balloon works for me. There is a lot of discussion here in DD and more on FetLife, https://fetlife.com/users/69073/pictures/56311352. read up and if you still have question send me a PM either here or on FL. My user ID is the same for both.
  5. Stephan if you can use a catheter and can tie a knot you can easily make a stent using a catheter.l The how to instructions were buried in this thread. The two key points is the retrieval line and an O ring large enough to prevent the stent from being pulled in to your bladder. Don't be afraid, just follow the safety guild lines for safe catheter play.
  6. Nice work and a great write up that is clear and precise. I had been thinking using small Foley placed inside of vinyl air line and inflating the balloon while heating the outside of the vinyl tube then deflating after cooling in hopes of forming a permanent balloon. I wonder if you were able to make the second bubble large would it stop the migration in to your bladder?
  7. Cathdiap, you raise a good point and it clearly elevates our awareness disposables diapers have when it comes to landfill usage. We should all understand our planet is not disposable.
  8. I use to load the trash in the car and find a open dumpster behind a store somewhere. Sometimes the trash got fairly heavy. Now that the kids are gone and its just the wife and I its curb side pick up. Sometimes in two cans due to the weight.
  9. Its been a while since I had the opportunity to sleep with my stent in place. I will agree with cathdiap when it comes to leaking while sleeping. During my stent playtime I will normally drink large amounts of fluids to keep flushing my bladder. What I learned the hard way was to cut back on the fluid intake a few hours before bed. Otherwise it was a 3AM wake up to a soaking wet bed. Good for some but not my thing. And the wife,,,, not impressed at all.
  10. Using a stent should not be a splash in the deep end of the pool but rather a slow wading in as you get adjusted to the idea. If you are already comfortable using catheters the next step may be the modified cath. A full length cath with a second opening a few inches below the balloon. Followed by the modified cath cut short. One very easy to make stent that I have had success with is the 16FR with 30ml balloon inflated with about 1-2 ml of fluids. Just be sure to tie the retrieval line securely at both ends. Follow safe cleaning procedures of the work area and take no short cuts! Once you get the stent idea working its a wonderful feeling and works like a switch. Here is a post I wrote a few years back that you may find useful, I have on occasion had received a PM asking how make a stent or what works for me. In consideration of the board crash and knowing that answering a PM will not benefit the community from which I learned I will re-post what works for me. I have tried the ridged PVC tubing heating and making bends, worked OK for me. I later worked with blue silicone airline available on Amazon, very soft. Some on here have managed to roll the ends, not me. What I did do was to add two brass ferrules inside the airline. One about ¾” of an inch from the end and second at 1 ½”. The ferrules were placed on a tapered pair of forceps. The airline heated in boiling water and in the ferrules went worked in to the airline. The idea of the two ferrules was one would slip inside my bladder while the other would hold the stent from slipping further inside. Again worked OK. But I made one major mistake that ended me in the ER for a very embarrassing day to have it removed. The mistake was using too small of a o ring on the end of the retrieval line. Now a day the O ring is large enough to slip over the shaft. My third and most successfully for me has been to use either silicone or latex catheter. The 16FR works best for me. This is not only the easiest to make it has become the most comfortable. Doesn’t fall out and in four years has not pulled in to my bladder. However I don’t pleasure myself while using my sent. The night the stent got away from me I had woke with a ragging erection and wanted it gone. My guess is the contraction of the orgasm pulled the stent in bladder. Lesson learned, use a larger O ring and check the lines before each use. In the photo you have a simple 16FR latex catheter. For me 5.5” length works best. After cutting you need a syringe with blunt tip to add about 1 CC of fluids to the balloon. To plug the fill line I used a piece of weed whacker line. At first the line was way too thick so using my drill I chucked 2” piece and using the drill to spin the line while holding some 100 grit sand paper on the line. The white cap in the photo is available at the local Lowes or maybe a hardware store. The store description is ‘screw protector’ Hillman #881037. The model number will depend on the catheter size. Using a leather punch make a hole on the end. For retrieval line a braided fishing line works great , I use 10Lb test. The line is so thin that I use a sewing needle thread the line in and sew in the cut end of the catheter stent. Tie a few good knots and use your tweezers pull it tight. The screw protector with the hole punched in the end becomes the cap. Thread the line threw the hole and if you sized the screw protector correctly slid it over the cut catheter end. To clean after getting this together I wash with soap and water air dry and then soak in 99% isopropyl alcohol for 10-15 minutes. Air dry again before rolling in a clean paper towel. To inset first wash your hands thoroughly. Then clean the head of your penis with povidone-iodine 10% using a cotton ball. Add some KY from an unopened source. Use the small one time use packets. You can work the stent in slowing working it up the shaft or make yourself a pusher tube like I did. Its piece of vinyl airline semi ridged. To make the tip I used an old hobby paint brush handle tapped to fit in the capped end of the stent. I later marked the pusher tube where I should stop. If you have question please communicated on the open forum so all can benefit.
  11. GrumpyMonk, it was weed whacker line but in order to make a suitable size I cut a 2" piece and spin it my battery operated drill while holding sandpaper around the line. You can create a nice tapered plug using this method and it easely cut to length when done with the tapering process.
  12. GrumpyMonk, I'm sure we all be interested to see your updates, I know I look forward to seeing it. As for another site my preference would to keep it here and support DD.
  13. Yea, one lost stent was all it took for me. The braided fishing line works well with a 1.25" O ring tied to the end of the pull cord works well for me. Dental floss is too thin for my risk level acceptance.
  14. The springs are a great idea. I guessing a quick of Amazon will answer were to get the springs. How do you shape the springs and will they stay in shape one formed?
  15. Oh my, has anyone hear from the OP? All I can say is one trip to the ER to remove a lost sent taught me a lot. Not to mention the $1800.00 in Co-pay I shelled out. And then there was the Police chase when I walked out of the hospital after waking and shaking off the surgery. Hospital rules require you be released in to someones care. My car was parked in the lot but knew better that trying to drive figuring the car was an easy catch. Instead I hiked in to the woods. While making my way thru the woods six cruisers speed in to the ER parking lot lights and sirens. So stupid. Once they realized I wasn't driving I was no longer a person of interest and they all left. I do hope the OP is OK and doing well. Please post to let us know and be assured your not the first.
  16. I did look thru your profile and other post but thank you for re-posting it here. WOW, you have a lot of the stent entering the bladder. Not that a normally Foley does not but most of the stent designs discussed here have less entering the bladder. The important thing is it works! The flare at the end is interesting. Would instructing on making the flare also be elsewhere also? Remember we lost a good bit of content sometime back to board crash. The stent I have in place now is just under 5" in length, was made from silicon airline, The ends were folder inside making them perfectly smooth. To prevent the ends from rolling back (out) I placed a short section of rigid tubing inside the folds. The retrial cord is attached the end by tying it around the second rigid insert. I was able to crate the flare less distance you have your O ring by heating the tubing and forcing a Watts A-2C brass compression ring inside the tubing. So far so good. Thanks again for re-posting. May your diaper always be wet!
  17. Dlnoir, I looked back a few pages hoping to see photos showing your design and found nothing. I like you am always experimenting and looking for better ideas. Would it be possible to post a photo of your latest design?
  18. I sometimes will use a tunnel plug and for sure you will have no control when the time comes. As for clean up I will normally hold off on the plug use until I have time to shower.
  19. I dropped the diaper thing on my wife about 12 years back. She tolerates the diapers but will likely never embrace or join me in a diaper . All most had her in one today though when she came down with an intestinal virus that gave the runs real bad. For me its enough to be able to leave my diapers around and not be so secretive. Its a trust thing.
  20. Also available from Amazon as a prime item. Now who was surprised Amazon would have this item? What don't they have.
  21. Dubious as discussed here get to the doctors and drink plenty of cranberry juice. The doc will likely want to know how you got a UTI as they are rare for guys. Normally a UTI is something you get when you were playing around with caths and not being clean.
  22. No sense wasting a partially wet diaper. I do my best to wet all the way up the back before a change.
  23. I have zero luck finding diapers at the thrift store. Could be my infrequent stops but all I ever see is used clothing and furniture.
  24. Hate to break it to you but catheter or stent use is not going to render you incontinent anytime soon. While using a stent you will be incontinent but even after months of use most report things work as designed after removing their stent.
  25. Rusty Pins, Catheter play has it risks but knowing those risk will help to minimize or eliminate those risk so read up there is plenty of good information posted on this site and others like this. As for your question if use an intermittent cath that is one without and inflation device it will slid out on its own. The only way to keep in place is to inflate the balloon. But you can inflate as little as 50% of the balloon. There are several theories on under inflating and over inflating. As for a cath causing discomfort, like anything else the more you do it the easier it becomes. As for an open cath in your diaper consider a 3/8" check valve for around $6.00 available on amazon.com. The check valve will help to reduce the UTI risk by preventing the nasty diaper bacteria from getting in to the bladder. Once you have gotten comfortable with catheter play consider the Holey Foley discussed in detail on this site. Be safe and PM if you have questions.
