  1. i havent ordered from them for about 6 months... But, previous to that i had ordered regularly for many years and i would have to say the service was great. Their was always good stock and the odd time something was out of stock the website was usually the first thing to point it out. I had always rec'd prompt email responses too... Lately i havent been doing much business there, my interest have changed a bit (using dry 24/7s for disposables now) but i have been checking in to see when they will get some new stock for bambinos/abu and it seems that they arent in too big of a rush to restock as they have been out for a LONG time (not only because bambino was out of stock)
  2. they did mention a size change, but really i thought they would have gone a bit bigger on the mediums and brought back the smalls Anyone have feedback on the new larges? i would assume they shrunk also? mediums used to fit me perfect (i like them fairly snug, and they were great for a day time diaper) and larges were just a bit too much and would always leak (though they were nice and roomy!), maybe now the largest might fit me a bit better
  3. i would say so... I think the lack of response here from actual parents is moreso due to the age group that makes up most of this forum (more of a younger crowd, more interested in gettin off than having a family and enjoying life!) For the same age group, i doubt you would find that its not a pretty close cut between parents/non-parents as compared to non DL/ABs
  4. i work 16hr days almost every day of the year, i rarely get a "good" sleep! I am employed at a full time job (day job) and run my own business on the side, i really dont have much for personal time, so any of that is usually limited to a bit of time with the ol lady or having a few wobbly pops with the guys I can drink like a fish, but i can also hold my alcohol too!
  5. easy now... I may drink often, but im not a blackout drunk, and barely had a buzz on last night. I like a few social drinks after a 16hr work day, getting chitfaced drunk is not on my agenda, those years have past! Its just kind of weird to me, after a couple drinks it must just relax me enough to wet the bed. What really boggles my mind is how i took off my footed sleeper in the middle of the night and crawled back under the covers. I woke up freezing and it took me a little bit to clue in that i had lost my clothing sometime in the night LOL
  6. so, as to my usual routine (which is getting more and more common lately LOL) i had a couple of drinks late last night after work. Their has been the odd time i go to bed and im pretty lit up (i can tend to be a bit of a lush LOL) and have woken up with a wet diaper, but always seem to vaguely remember waking up in the middle of the night and wetting. Well, this time was a little different and a little scary to me! I went to bed wearing a diaper and my footed sleeper, i had one hell of a good sleep for once, do not recall ever getting up or even rolling over once. I woke up and my diaper was pretty wet and i had somehow managed to take off my sleeper and lay it on the bed beside me... strange...
  7. Since you figure the xplus is not an option, I can't be of much help to suggest a day time diaper for you. I wear 24/7 and I drink (and obviously pee) alot. My choice of diapers has always been something pretty thick and thirsty. Currently I wear dry24/7's which are fairly bulky. In the past it has been arena xplus or bambinos As far as the arousal thing, yes, like anything, once the novelty wears off so will the "side effects". Don't get me wrong, they still light the fire for me, but nothing like when I first started wearing
  8. LOL^^^ As far as most of that goes, its more of a personal preference thing, you can look at anything and pick out the bad points. Of course a baby isnt easy on anything, especially your wallet or personal life, but man their is nothing in life that is greater than kids! Personally i dont have any yet (the ol lady wont let me LOL), but pretty much all of my friends and family have kids (of various ages, alot of babies right now!) and man are they great. the babies so far have all been awesome, not like some that scream and whine 24/7 (which i have found is pretty rare!) and the toddlers/preteens are just getting to be so damn funny and are great company to take along with us on hunting/fishing trips, they are always worth a good laugh! Im sure once they hit the teens they wont be so much of a joy.... LOL I cant speak from personal experience having a kid (yet!), but i have seen alot of other people that do say their diapers take a sideline after the birth. Which i dont doubt one bit, for the first few months their is going to be ALOT going on, no matter how well your baby behaves, not to mention changing someone elses crappy diaper probably doesnt help. And anyone with half a mind would put family first, for most people the thought probably doesnt cross their mind because their is just so much going through their heads...
  9. exactly, at that price who can afford to use them for anything other than play?
  10. ive got a selection of kins stuff and i will say that the quality is great! Though ive only got a few of their regular onesies, which work great but dont really fit my wardrobe as far as wearing to work, i usually wear them under my regular shirts. one of these days i will be trying their "golf shirt" onesies.
  11. those actually look pretty damn good. i like the full print, such as the cushies. but the cushies design seems to be a little too much 'in your face' and the absorbency is about as good as a depends. i still wouldnt pay the ABU price tag though...
  12. i thought i read somewhere that if you contact them, they will do a mix of whatever you want? maybe im on glue...
  13. sounds like someone f'd up and grabbed a mixed case by mistake or didnt label a mixed case correctly!
  14. Ive got the same issue, it was really bad in my teens, then seemed to simmer down for a few years and its back again now. Theirs only a small bit of information regarding this type of issue that i have found and yet cutting back caffeine was a big one and stress was mentioned quite a bit. Im a pretty heavy coffee drinker, have been for years now. Personally i doubt thats my problem, as its only flared up in the last year and i wont survive without coffee! One thing i can say for sure is that stress is through the roof lately as it was in my teens (growing up around alot of BS), thats the only constant that i can think of...
  15. typically its around 6hrs during the day. If you want to count sleeping and all, i have gone over 24hrs in a fairly wet one, but by then they start to get a lil ripe!
  16. i must have gotten a couple of BAD cases then! LOL i cant hardly get a single wetting out of them (and not a huge flood!) before they leak. which didnt surprise me as they are REALLY thin, they would be perfect if they could actually hold the claimed ~2L (b4ns claims this)
  17. their are many factors, wayyyy too many... Some peoples skin can tolerate alot more than others as well as your hydration level and other bodily things do contribute to the reaction your skin will have to the urine. Personally, i can wear a soaking wet diaper until its falling apart (over 24hrs) LOL And i have no issues at all, but as far as a messy diaper goes i will get a wicked rash within an hour or so usually.most people tend to be alot more tolerable to urine than #2
  18. makes sense, why buy through a ripoff distributor when you can get them from the source? LOL Only issue i can see is that your screwed if you want the 10pk of mediums. ETA on those is 12 months!
  19. As per the QUESTION i have found pampers to have the 'best' smell
  20. It seems you are the only one that has an issue with Riley not being a biological female... If its such an issue for you, why dont you call them up to do an episode on yourself and scream the whole time that you are not a TG...? would that make you feel better? Its not like that mentioned it every 2 seconds in the show, it was a quick blurt in her bio and that was all, the show carried on and you obviously didnt. Personally, i think the show wasnt bad at all. Although they did put quite an emphasis on the diaper wearing which was a tad necessary. All in all, their have been a hella lot worse AB shows/clips on TV!
  21. With nightly use, my very first one i bought lasted about 3 years before it started deteriorating pretty bad, at which time i finally replaced it.
  22. dry24/7 would take the win for what i have seen (bambinos, abu's, abena xplus) as far as bulk goes, i would say the xplus comes in second, then bambinos, abu's, ect
  23. id have to agree, years ago, they were pretty much the cream of the crop, but now they have some stiff competition. But still, they are not at all comparable to a store brand diaper. As with most 'across the pond' diapers, they tend to be cut rather small (read the reviews, all sizes are a bit small and its fairly well known that the XL is really not all that big!)
  24. I remember it from back in the early '90s, i was just getting o the net, trying to figure out what the heck was goin on and if their were any more of 'us' out there! DPF was the first site i had come across, and it was a great relief to find some more people that share the same interests, some information and a source of some good reading. When i had first come across the site, the 'forum' was not too bad, but it sure wasnt long after i had discovered the site that news was out about tommys health and the site started going down the tube. shortly after this i had discovered DD and never went back over to DPF until many years later. When i went back to check it out, the forums and site were completely down the crapper. Its kindof sad to see it end the way it did, then to turn around and try to sell the burning pile of crap for a fortune in the end, i got a laugh out of that. by the time it was completely shut down and up for sale the place was a joke to anyone that had even heard about it!
  25. like mentioned, you could always go the route with little trinkets... You could even go to the point of getting some custom DD swag (nothing fancy, just cheap pens/cups/shirts) and price them accordingly with their cost and appropriate donation amount. IE, pen costs you $2, add on a $5 donation and sell it for $7. shirt costs you $10 so you tack on a $20 donation and sell it for $30 Or something along those lines...
