Eh. I used to really like ADISC. As I got older though I found myself wanting less and less to be associated with a website that openly lets minors join. Just not something I feel okay with I guess, even though I was on the original adisc when I was 15 or 16, it's much different now that I am a grown adult. (I'm 21). My really current issue with them is that I had an issue and I needed my account deleted due to an issue with a stalker and instead of deleting my account, they banned me and told me to take my drama elsewhere? wtf? And since I was banned I could not contact them or anything. I went under my boyfriend's account and my account, although banned, was still standing and you could still search past posts and read my profile. :/ I had a different wellknown member speak to the admin on my behalf. He unbanned me and "closed" my account. Again, my posts are still there, as well as my profile and everything. I gave up after that. I could not believe that a website that is so dedicated to people's safety would NOT delete my profile under a perfectly valid, and scary reason. Their reasoning to leave my account standing was that if my account was deleted it may mess with other people's posts because then the threads I started would be deleted also. Apparently their own forum post count matters more then a user who posted a lot at one time's personal safety. Ugh.

That's not true. I have heard plenty of people who don't know I'm into AB/DL go "Adults who dress up like babies?? That's sick!!". It's all over the internet too. I think that is going too far. What prohibits you from putting your clean diaper into a bag? Why does it HAVE to be out in the open, which gives other people an exact idea of what you're doing? My boyfriend is in the Air Force. His opinion is of mine, that nobody is going to be flamboyantly gay in the military just because DADT was revoked. Most will be exactly like the gays that are serving our country right now... quiet and non-intrusive.

From what I understand, the FCC having control over the internet is a much better option for the average user then a corporation (i.e, comcast, time warner) having control over it. Net neutrality prevents the big corporations from having control over what bandwidth you use, and I don't see why people would argue with that. Everybody benefits with net neutrality whereas when the corporations have control, they're the only ones who benefit. =)

The thing is, I don't think this will be a problem. Like I said, the military is not going to turn into a gay pride parade. It's still going to be the same type of people who serve, because it's generally a certain few type of personalities that join in the first place. I don't think that just because they can openly serve now, that they will be open about it. Do you honestly believe that gays have NEVER served before? I can imagine in every batch 60 new men into basic training that there is always at least one or two gay men, and it's not like they're shoving their cocks in people's faces or getting a hard-on every time they're in the shower. The military will still have standards on what behavior is appropriate or not. Somebody acting in a way that would get a redneck to hate on a gay man will never be appropriate behavior in uniform. All this means now is that they don't have to be fear getting kicked out if they are accidentally outed and I think that is great.

Uh. We did purchase a whole pack. They do not soak up urine. They also look like they are cut, roughly, by hand but I may be wrong. Either way my point still stands: They are not meant to be put in a diaper. It is a false advertisement and a waste of money.
